The Asian chicken salad is the classic they’ve had on menu for decades! Amazing and it’s big! Authentic dressing . A good option for a change in PV! Warm on the patio but nice shade and fans! I’m naive has AC. Beautiful view of the banderas bay

Google
My girlfriend and I had a great time at Daquiri Dicks! The owner even came by to say hello and was such a welcoming presence! Highlights included the birria tacos, captain crunch onion rings, unique corn ribs, and the chocolate chip cookie skillet!

Google
A little pricey, but not unexpected when getting food right on the beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find creative delicious vegan options like their coconut milk curry. The drinks were great as well.

Daiquiri Dick’s is the perfect spot for a relaxed beachfront lunch! This isn’t your typical touristy place trap—it’s a true gem with amazing food at reasonable prices. We started with garlic shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The fresh ceviche was light, zesty, and packed with seafood goodness. And the huge burger? Juicy, delicious, and exactly what we needed. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Add in the ocean breeze and stunning beach views, and you’ve got an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're here for lunch or dinner, Daiquiri Dick’s delivers every time!

How do you go from ocean to table? Take your catch from Captain Ariel Rosen of Calypso Fishing Tours to Chef Martin and Chef Wayne. Now this is how it is done. Best meal in Vallarta, hands down. Special thanks to Luis, Marcos and the incredible staff for a job well done. Besos y Abrazos from Michael and Mick

Google
Very good food in a lovely ocean front atmosphere. We had the Cowboy burger(huge) with fries and short rib tacos. The strawberry daiquiri was cold and not too sweet. Excellent waiters. Bathrooms are very clean. We would return

Google
Food was fresh, the seasoning can be improved. Overall, really good experience here with good service and nice view for the ocean and beach. Cocktail tasted lovely, but priced a bit high at $250 pesos. We only ordered light snacks since we arrived Puerto Vallarta at an odd time. No wait in the restaurant also guess it’s low season.

Google
Lovely restaurant, food was good, not exceptional but quite nice. Service was excellent and the ambiance while dining on the beach was lovely. After dining at numerous beach restaurants in PV the beach vendors are very overwhelming while trying to enjoy your meal. It would be nice if some partitions were in place to keep vendors out so they aren't hassling you at your table. Drinks were okay, they had a nice selection of "not-your-average" cocktails. Very accommodating to gluten and dairy allergies and the menu was easy to navigate these allergies as well.

Yelp
A very nicely decorated beach front property will all seats having a nice ocean breeze and most could see the sea. Everyone loved the salads with the protein add-ons like chicken or beef. The club sandwich was also exceptional. The owner came out and checked on us and even treated us with an array of desserts that were all five stars. The carrot cake may have been one of the best I've had in a while. Pass on the fried chicken sandwich it was more breading than chicken. Also don't sit next to beach sidewalk as you will be interrupted by non stop solicitors which are everywhere in the city which is no fault of this great place.

Yelp
We enjoyed this place and despite some available tables on the sand which we preferred, we were seated on the patio. Which was fine. Some nice live music too. The daiquiris were served in a barrel and were good but hardly memorable. The captain crunch onion rings were delish. Really enjoyed them. The red snapper I had was fine. A few days later I have a tough time remembering anything special about it. Service was good and this ended up being a good dinner in the ZR.

Yelp
Always a great place to get a bite to eat in Puerto Vallarta. My Aji Tartar was so fresh. It melted in your mouth and it was as you can see beautifully presented. My husband's Asian salad was delicious too as I tried a little bit of it. Always a great place to sit and watch the people go by and enjoy an afternoon lunch and the vendors are pretty interesting too.

Yelp
We fell in love with this place and ended up stoping here 4 times, 3 for breakfast and one for drinks. The first time we were there my husband I each ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was outstanding! My husband ordered it the rest of our visits since he loved it so much. They serve it with fresh fruit which was outstanding and this hash browns with a layer of cheese in the middle. The first day it was too salty, but after that it was not as salty. I ordered a iced coffee and they suggested adding baileys, so I did and it was a hit the rest of the time. Absolutely so delicious! The following breakfasts I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was so delicious. The first time it was HUGE but the last visit which was a saturday AM it was a bit smaller. On our Saturday visit, my parents joined and my mom got pancakes and dad got a chorizo omlet which they both enjoyed. We also got the havarti grilled cheese sandwich "for the table" and the dipping sauces were fantastic! We also stopped here for drinks and tried their world famous daiquiris and they were delicious. We opted for strawberry and my husband quickly fell in love with them. The bathrooms at this location were my favorite of all the bathrooms i visited in Mexico. They were so clean and the design was perfection. We had amazing service while we were there. The final breakfast on Saturday was a bit slower but it was also completely full. We would highly recommend stopping here for breakfast! We didn't try their lunch or dinner, but their breakfast had us in love.

Yelp
They've perfected sauces, every dish makes you want to forget home training and lick the plate; but seriously, the corn ribs are very tasty and the cocktails hit the spot! (Oh, the AC and fans inside were perfect to beat the heat on the summer day my friends and I dined)
google avatar

Meena N.

Yelp
You can get a beautiful view of the ocean without sitting in the sand if that's not your thing. My Benedict was pretty good. The cinnamon bun was really good and so were the onion rings. Def recommend those two. I thought the chilaquiles were just okay. My friend said The Asian chicken salad was pretty tasty. The passion fruit mimosas were yummy. Service was friendly but a little slow. But who's in a rush in PV anyway.

Yelp
Daiquiri Dick's was a pleasant surprise. We were celebrating our anniversary and reserved a table on the beach. It was the perfect setting and the vibe was super romantic. We ordered the blackened salmon and the black pepper filet mignon which were both delicious. The martinis were perfect and the entire menu was reasonable. The staff were all very friendly. We returned for breakfast a few days later and were not disappointed.

Yelp
This was a wonderful casual venue overlooking the beach and ocean in the romantica section of Puerto Vallarta to enjoy our last vacay dinner. We were referred to Daquerie Dicks by the brother of one of the partners. So glad we came. Our dinners and drinks were out of this world and it was fun to people watch as they walked right past our table on the boardwalk. When it got dark, all the beautiful lighting went on. It was so pretty and romantic. Highly recommend

Yelp
The restaurant has a nice beach view. I recommend going during the sunset for dinner. The drinks were delicious! When you order the daiquiri you can take the cute cup home with you. The short rib was definitely the star. If you visit you must order that! Service was friendly and helped celebrate my father in laws birthday.

Yelp
We only had afternoon drinks (no food), but it's a great tropical atmosphere, nice beach views, quick friendly service, and very good drinks.

Yelp
What a beautiful spot. We sat on the beach and took in the sunset and sand. We had steak salad, mahi mahi, salmon both with risotto and broccoli and a cheeseburger. All of the food was great minus the Burger which was ok. Bread was yummy and cocktails were tasty. Chocolate chip cookie and ice cream for dessert hit the spot. The service was super friendly and fun. Music was making us want to dance. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back.

Philip K.

Yelp
The restaurant has a great spot on the beach walk with good views of the ocean. The service was very good. Food wise, there are better options along the beach. We had the ceviche which was served with stale chips and had little flavor. The steak salad was served with thin steak slices good but nothing exciting. The chilaquiles were served in a small skillet which was unique and tasty. Portions were moderate. Prices were a little high for what you get, but you are paying for a location. We did not have any drinks, but it seems those around us were enjoying some tasty cocktails.

Yelp
We made reservations and walked right in. It was not busy on a Tuesday night around 6pm! We sat right on the beach and front row to the ocean! It was so beautiful!!! There was a musician playing modern instrumental music that set the tone perfect! The food was PHENOMENAL! We loved the food and still to this day talk about it! The staff were so friendly and service was quick! We got to speak to the owner and he was so friendly!! I cannot stress enough though, this place is VERY good! We constantly talk about how it's the best ambiance and food of any place we have been to!

Kimberly G.

Yelp
Service was good but 4/6 of my friends got food poisoning from here. When we got our burgers they were pink. They did change it but still caused us to have food poisoning.
google avatar

Bruce S.

Yelp
Really nice facility and location. Food was good and serving sizes were appropriate. Service was poor. Slow to come to the table and never checked back, refilled water etc.....

Osvaldo F.

Yelp
Walked in to an EMPTY place around 4pm but apparently they only take "reservations" so they couldn't take us. Great way to make business. If you don't have reservations don't even try.

Yelp
Don't let the name of this place fool you. Maybe you're expecting something cheesy, or trashy - but this was one of our favorite places in PV, and definitely on the fancier side! Very trendy and well decorated. The hostess was so friendly and accommodating both times we came in last week. The first time we had my baby nephew and she made sure to give us a nice table, that we had a high chair etc. The 2nd time we were all roasting and sweating our butts off. We were thankful to find a place that was beautiful and beachy inside AND had AC. The hostess brought us scented, chilled towels from the cooler. What an amazing touch and very well needed! We came in our first night in PV for a late dinner. We were tired and not feeling a full meal, so our group of 4 tried a wide variety of appetizers including the Birria Beef Short Rib Tacos, the Spicy Tuna Tacos, The Octopus Zarandeado, their "famous" Asian Chicken Salad, and bowls of the Creamy Corn Chowder and Chicken Tortilla Soup. The tacos were the perfect late dinner. The corn chowder was nice and light, and while the chicken tortilla soup was good, it had a heavy red sauce base that was a bit much for a late meal. It was tasty though. The standout was unexpectedly the asian chicken salad. The mixture of lettuces and cabbage had a wonderful crunch and the dressing was very flavorful! All of the cocktails we tried were flavorful and well mixed - not too sour or sweet. We came back two days later for a respite from the heat and a few rounds of drinks. We tried their famous daiquiris in the clay barrels, which was super fun. I had the banana and it was nice and light. We also tried an order of the "Captain Crunch" onion rings out of curiosity. They were pretty good, would definitely order them again, but wouldn't make a special trip. If you're in Puerto Vallarta in the Romantic Zone, definitely check this place out for a meal or drinks. They also have a nice little beach club with loungers out back if you need a place to get some sun while enjoying great service and drinks!

Yelp
Great restaurant on the beach. Excellent fish and steaks and amazing desserts and flaming Mexican Coffees. Known for their Asian Chicken Salad, it's a great lunch item. You can have dinner inside in the air conditioning or on the beach when the weather is nice. Very LGBTQ friendly too!
google avatar

Peter C.

Yelp
I only ate at DD's once (breakfast) a number of years ago before they remolded and figured I would check them out for dinner. So glad I did - as we had a great dinner! Had a wonderful server and the food was delicious. I was very impressed with how they remodeled the place - very comfortable. I will definitely return when I'm back in PV.
google avatar

Wendy D.

Yelp
Couldn't decide where we wanted to have brunch and while walking the boardwalk we noticed how good the food looked as the servers passed by! I have to say it, it was a great find! Service was great, food was tasty. I tried the octopus and my meal was the birria short rib skillet. It was amazing! Flavorful, tender, portion wasn't too much. Birria is one of my all time favorites to make at home so I was extra critical when trying this. It did not disappoint. Father-in-law had the chicken sandwich and said he enjoyed it. Best Moscow mule in PV! They made it with tequila at first but kindly swapped it with vodka and it was delicious! Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and portion. Recommend stopping here if you can't decide where to eat
google avatar

Yelp
Overpriced, not great. There were 6 of us and most ordered different items. One of us got a burger and asked for it medium well, it arrived medium rare. I ordered the Caesar salad; the lettuce was brown and wilted. The drinks were ok, but again overpriced. The location on the beach is nice but you are harassed every 5 min by people trying to sell you things. Not a place I would recommend.

Donald D.

Yelp
Very good beachfront restaurant in PV. Went for brunch, smoked salmon Benedict quite delicious, as was the BLT. Avocado toast good, too, but the fried eggs in top were a little runny for my taste. And don't be surprised if the wrong or incorrect drink order arrives at your table.

Mel W.

Yelp
Food and Service were amazing! The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Everyone is very friendly and the service is 5 star. The food was the best meal we had in Puerto Vallarta!

Tom S.

Yelp
This place is top notch with Amazing food and service! Great stafff, stiff drinks and the most Amazing sunsets!
google avatar

Jo Ellen S.

Yelp
The meal was expensive at the end of the day. Sunset nice, and food was ok the service was fine. I guess i need to adjust my expectations in PV. Everything was way more than ever before.

Sabrina S.

Yelp
You must try the garlic shrimp. We came back a second time just for those. Beautiful bar right on the beach. Friendly staff, great drinks and excellent food. Give it a try.

Yelp
Daquiri Dick's was such an incredible spot to dine in when we visited Puerto Vallarta. From the beautiful calming interior to the delicious food and drinks we couldn't have asked for a better experience. This place has just the right vibes and relaxing ambiance for when dining by the beachside. We were there around 7pm, just admiring the waves while the sun began to set, sippin' on our drinks, what more could we have asked for. The mood was spectacular! As for the service, Cristian was our server, along with the other servers, were very attentive, friendly and gave us great recommendations on what to try! I highly recommend their Mango Basil Margarita Octopus Zarandeado and Black Pepper Filet Mignon! But everything else we tried was just as yummy! Overall 10/10

Cristina L.

Yelp
We had drinks on the beach (so fun!) and ate breakfast here several days in a row. The decor is beautiful and spotless - from top to bottom. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully plated. I had an omelet with a side of potatoes each day because they were so good! They were just the right proportion and perfectly cooked. All the staff we encountered spoke English, were super friendly and efficient. We never had to ask for a thing because they were on top of it all! We will definitely be back!

Janice G.

Yelp
The mahi-mahi was amazing and the vegetable so very fresh. My husband loved his tacos. I would highly recommend this place as the food was delicious and the service by Tony was terrific
google avatar

Molly B.

Yelp
Service was extremely slow and they were out of the corn chowder and cowboy burgers so the menu was limited. The setting is beautiful and they had an acoustic guitar player. I used to really like this place but now feel it's overpriced for what you get. We had the ahi tuna tacos, mahi mahi and braised beef. I like that they have gluten free options.
google avatar

Dylan M.

Yelp
I was happy to hear the news that DD had finally reopened after it's time off to remodel and under new ownership. They did a nice job with the remodel, while still not the most beautiful of the options along the beach they do have a lot of outdoor seating including on the beach, their patio overlooking the water as well as bar and covered area inside. The menu offers a little something for everyone with nice selection of vegetarian and vegan options with a guide which marks each on the menu. The service was very good. They had a acoustic guitarist playing on the beach while we ate dinner. The food was really good all four of us enjoyed the various options we selected. I have to say I think the new owners really upped their game with the menu and food quality. Overall it's a soft 5 star, there are certainly more romantic and better restaurants in town but they did everything very well. Reservations available via OpenTable
google avatar

Craig Y.

Yelp
Great location on the beach. There are various places to sit both on the beach and along the sidewalk. Food and drinks were good. There are better restaurants around but this was good. I'd go mostly for drinks.
google avatar

Stephen A.

Yelp
My companions and I (5 of us) sat outside on the beach which was absolutely beautiful for a sunset. However, that is all it was. You are constantly bombarded by people trying to sell their wares and the waiters/owners do not try to stop them. Mind you, there is a very clear line that surrounds the perimeter. Lets talk about the food and wait staff now. The wait staff is very clearly pushed to trying to sell the most expensive items on the menu. Fine. But, food should be good, right? 4 out of 5 of us ordered the same thing. The shrimp al pastor fettucine pasta. What is not mentioned on the menu is that there is a massive slice of pineapple (which is COLD) on top of a small amount of pasta and few shrimp -- ALL OF WHICH WERE COLD. The name of this dish should have been called, "cold al Pastor with some shrimp pasta". We get ready to pay and while the waiter is trying to process the credit card, he overheard us talking about how awful the dinner was and how expensive it was. You think it would get better at this point, right? Guess again. The NEW owner comes out and speaks to us. The person who was trying to pay went over the problems and the owner said, "I will speak with the chef for future patrons". The new owner had the audacity to say the reason why the food was cold because of the distance from the kitchen to the OUTSIDE. He did not take anything off the bill (not that we expected them to), but offered to give us a disgusting drink afterwards. We spent nearly as much money at this place as we did at Cafe de Artists (which is a fantastic restaurant). Skip this joint and go there for a good time with good food.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
It is a nice place and it does offer dining in the sand by the beach. The food was good albeit on the expensive side. They have a good selections of cocktails too. There are a few options along the water and I am not sure I would go back here. It wasn't bad but it was not fantastic either for the cost.

Abby H.

Yelp
They remodeled since I've last been here. Beautiful decor & atmosphere right on the beach. We got there for an earlier dinner after a beach day and got to stay for a prime view of the sunset. I got the salmon and it was fine, but my friend's birria short rib tacos were to die for. Friendly wait staff, clean bathrooms and decor was amazing.
google avatar

Glenn A.

Yelp
Friendly atmosphere with excellent service. All of the staff constantly had big smiles and made us feel welcome as they worked getting the restaurant ready for dinner service and seamlessly served us a late lunch and delicious daiquiris.
google avatar

Lori H.

Yelp
Seriously expensive/ over priced. Bad food. However beautiful interior. Maybe a decent place to watch the sunset and have a overpriced expensive drink. Not great for a meal
google avatar

Mary G.

Yelp
Great spot for cocktails! Of course it's a tad pricey but the setting is beautiful, atmosphere is fun and service is very attentive. Don't waste a meal on the food, it is mediocre at best. Note: if you order a barrel drink that is advertised as coming in a souvenir cup, they will only give it to you if you make a point of asking for it at the end of the meal. Definitely worth a visit.
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
We got to savor the last hurrah at this iconic Puerto Vallarta restaurant and it was amazing. We joined friends that had been there many times. The round of drinks came quickly and my Kettle One Martini was perfection! The Caprese Salad was nicely presented and tasted great. I prefer a Burrata mozzarella, but enjoyed the fresh tastes. I took a photo of the sunset, but not of the food as I was thinking this the sunset of this restaurant. My shrimp entree was delicious as was my friend's Perch. But the best part was the perfectly prepared Key Lime Pie! I read the new owners are updating and adding! Let's hope it only gets better, if that is possible!
google avatar

Wendy G.

Yelp
The food was good but way over priced! The was 2 people in our party and we did not have appetizers or dessert and our total cam to $1,400 pesos which is just under $75 US dollars. They offer seating on the beach but you better watch the tide and waves. The tide has been high the last week or so and they waves are crashing high on the beach. When we are at Daiquiri Dick's the ocean water ran under our table. The ocean beach is washing away so be carful. DO NOT leave children unattended near the water. The waves were so strong they could've pulled an adult down.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
Great brunch!!! So filling you could share and appetizer and one plate for two people. Captain crunch onion rings were yummy!!!
google avatar

Thao D.

Yelp
Food was good but not worth the money, Hawaiian price in Mexico. $40 USD for one little piece of fresh catch of the day, half the portion of the other place, burger order medium came out medium-rare. The food is prolly worth half of your bill, so technically the other half of your bill is for view, AC. The servers were nice but it's tacky to ask for a certain percentage of tips (we don't even have a big group, only 3 people). After meal, we left feeling icky and the meal was definitely not worth the money
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
Had a burger. It was tasty but nothing that I would have again. Tortilla soup was so-so. Have had better. Location on the beach is a plus. Food is just average. So many other places that are a step up. Worth a visit for a beer. Service was exceptional.
google avatar

Jo S.

Yelp
The location of Daiquiri Dick's is one of the best features of this restaurant. It's right on the beach, nothing pretentious, but nice, simple, perfect setting for a dinner during sunset time! I was so mesmerized by the gorgeous view that I forgot to take photos! Sometimes little moments need to be enjoyed! The food was delicious, I had the best risotto here, I can still taste it! Decent service, prices a tad high. The mojito-s weren't that great, they put way too much mint in them, so maybe try something else. I regret ordering those! Other than that, no regrets, great food, one of the best views ever and a gorgeous sunset that I won't forget!

Robert Tassano ..

Yelp
Stopped by for two to go drinks this evening walking along the beach. Paid almost 600 pesos for a daiquiri and a margarita that were mostly ice and really felt taken advantage of! Will never be back.
google avatar

Sara E.

Yelp
New Daiquiri Dick's! After a beautiful renovation, a restaurant favorite of ours in PV is back & all is perfect. Great service, dining inside, patio, or beach - comprehensive menu with small bites and larger entrees. Food is delicious and cocktails are well constructed. We stopped for lunch, seated immediately and ordered the Coconut Chicken Corn chowder - wonderful! Our waiter was very accommodating to allow us to split their huge signature Asian Chicken Salad and it was awesome. We were stuffed and anxious to get back for a dinner meal. This place is a must try!

Kevin F.

Yelp
We had breakfast here on a lazy Saturday morning, tabled on the beach. My wife had the carrot cake French toast which was unique and heavenly. I would grab a taxi from the marina just to have that again. I had birria short rib tacos. Especially with the sauce, they were amazing. My only complaint was that the taco portions were a little small for the price. Throw in 3 mock tails and the tip, we spent 1000 pesos on the meal. It felt a little high but I left very satisfied. Would come again!

Jacob S.

Yelp
Great food. Great employees. Good music. The pasta was super as was the grilled pulpi

Deborah G.

Yelp
We ordered 2 salads - which were just "OK" (Asian Chicken and Hollywood Steak). We had 2 drinks and I asked for a glass of Ice water. Never was informed that the water was to cost 120 pesos, = 7.00 US!!!!!! The total bill came to 78.00 US $$$ This is absurd for a Mexico light dinner. We have better pricing in Hollywood. Will not go back.
