The staff here is great, they are incredibly customer service oriented. I walked in when it was very busy and a girl took our order and rang it up while we were in line, so that we wouldn't have to wait so long to order and pay. I've never had a restaurant do that before. The food and ordering atmosphere reminds me of cafeteria style. The food wasn't out of this world, but it was cheap and it was a fun place to check out in Nashville. They have a great history and culture detailed out in their wall decor of newspapers clippings and various other items.

This place is great. Home cook southern food. Good burgers and meat and 3, 2 or 1. Good deserts. Friendly staff. Some of the items on the menu changes up every week to keep people coming back to try new things. I got the turkey and dressing with gravy, mash potatoes, green beans, Cole slaw and corn bread. It was delicious!

Great little meat-and-two, with a ton of options for dessert. I got the turkey w/ dressing, fried okra, potatoes w/ cheese, two rolls, and a medium coke for less than $9, and it was way too much food! I was a little concerned when I get the turkey—I thought it might be dry because it was pulled—but it and the dressing were delicious and moist. The rolls tasted different than I was expecting; they had more of a popover-style texture in the center, but no crunch on the outside. Everyone was really friendly. The woman behind the counter helped me by making some suggestions, and the owner greeted me while I was paying. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quick, filling lunch with a home-cooked feel.

Fast friendly service, delicious Meat N 3's, awesome burgers and the best chocolate fried pies in existence. I've been eating here since the 80's, they've been around since the 50's so they've got it figured out. Really good food for the money. Don't be afraid of the location or the outside appearance, this is a local telling you it's a good place to eat.

Best kept secret on this side of town! The menu is plentiful and the prices are right. Great food and atmosphere. However, if you come for lunch, make it 11am and not 12pm because the line is nearly out the door at noon. And if you got room left over, you gotta have the fried chocolate pie topped with vanilla ice cream. Don't expect to get much productive work done after that!

Not to be confused with Dairy Queen this meat and three type restaurant is actually very good. I've heard they have very good milkshakes although I've never tried one myself, we all can eat here at work and it's never a bad decision! I really enjoy their turkey and dressing, sometimes Thanksgiving in the middle of the week can be fun!

I usually get the meat and three but this is one of my go to spots in Nashville. I have been eating here for well over 15 years. Excellent staff and always great service. There is nothing you can order wrong here. This is a definite must try in the Nashville area hands down. The atmosphere is very family centric and almost cafe/cafeteria like with very friendly people. Rave about this place and had to review it.

Great place to eat. The grilled chicken sandwich was tender juicy and delicious. The fried pork sandwich on the other hand was a total waste of money. This place has a lot of history and was interesting to visit. This place is nothing fancy, but has a great selection of good old home cooking!
