Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Yesterday 3/5 around 4:10 I picked up my mobile order. I didn’t think to check. I got home and both boxes of chicken strips were raw and not cooked. You can clearly see the raw chicken strips that were covered and breaded but the chicken was not cooked. Unfortunately for me I did took a bite before noticing. Not too long after that I start throwing up at least 3 times. I already contacted corporate and FDA , provided photos and all. Currently waiting on response. Please be careful when you buy anything from this location.

Actually so disappointing. I ordered a large ice cream cone and paid $.89 for sprinkles. This is my ice cream cone after having to ask for extra sprinkles when the staff members made it a big issue to additionally add sprinkles. Not like I was asking a big thing for additional sprinkles. A large ice cream cone is going to take more sprinkles and a small one.

I hate giving this rating but it's been horrible every time I go there, it used to be friendly, good food and atmosphere. Now it's like they're in a hurry to get you out of there, they're not friendly and the food is gross. My cheeseburger was nuked in the microwave so long the cheese and bread was hard. Come on guys, we all know you can do better!

This place has a horrible smell. It smells like it hasn't had a deep clean in YEARS!! I ordered a small vanilla cone. Since they no longer have chocolate. It costs me almost $4 for just a small cone. Friend ordered a banana split. Didn't come with the cherry. It's the little things from childhood that makes you smile. I won't be going back. No chocolate and WAY overpriced. No thanks. I can get a whole tub of ice cream for $4. Do better and get your store to smell better.

This location definitely pays attention to your order making sure everything is correctly done. I had a chance at trying the new Carmel brownie cupfection and I want to say this location definitely made my ice cream look appetizing, made sure my cup was actually full of ice cream and wasn't melting. My money was well spent. Will be back to visit this location.

We just took our kids and grandkids to this location and the girl at the counter wearing dark sunglasses was laying her head on the counter as we tried to order. After each person ordered she laid her head back on the counter. I am 61 and never seen anything like this. The name on the receipt said was Christina. It was today 12/7/25 at 3:30pm The young lady in the back looked at me and whispered she was sorry. Not sure who owns this place but they should maybe spend more time there observing this behavior.

Convenient location and easily accessible. Long drive thru line easily remedied by ordering inside the restaurant, will save lots of time. Consistent quality of products from hot foods to frozen treats.

I can not get a blizzard out of here without so much STUFF in it , it's horrendous.... usually people would be happy with that, but when you can't taste the ice cream and all you can taste is candy and add ons, that is bad.

Upgraded to three stars due to two recent visits. My kid begged for a blizzard, so I gave in and gave DQ on North Main another try. Still won't try drive thru, but going inside was great. Quick service, friendly team, and good blizzards.

Have been coming here for years and have always received good food and service. The establishment is always clean and bright. The drive thru and parking lot can be a little tricky but overall a great place for a quick bite or yummy treat!

Ice cream o'clock, why yes it was...so I pulled in here for my favorite peanut buster parfait. Salty and sweet with that hot fudge, oh how delicious regardless of calories. Now as we all know, it doesn't matter if we are eating fast food, fast casual food, or wow this stuff is way expensive food, presentation is part of the experience. We don't want our food all haphazardly made and just given to us. Today I really felt like this peanut buster parfait was just made without a thought in the world. Ratio's of hot fudge were way off and peanuts were all over the place. This clearly was not the cashiers favorite item to make and you could tell as she was putting it together. I will say that the ice cream was firm and very tasty and you did not feel like you needed to eat it so fast before it melted. That was probably because the hot fudge was applied so strangely, but it was definitely not pretty or worth the price if your not getting all the gooies. The scanner for the app is also not working at this location and they have no idea when that will be fixed and the explanation is as follows "we have to shut the whole system down to fix the app and we can't do that". My response was, "that's not very customer friendly". Then I heard..."your lucky we could ring up anything today as our registers are not working right". I guess I am lucky, lucky me that Dairy Queen can get one register working and doesn't feel that it's good business to get the scanner working so customers can use the app. 3 stars because the ice cream was tasty although made weirdly. If your looking to use your DQ app this is not your location.

2 for $5 cheeseburgers, butterfinger blizzard, onion rings. Life is good. Among the best fast food places around. Good friendly customer service. Clean location. Good day!

The chili dogs keep calling my name. I love the chili hotdog without cheese. This store has is so busy sometimes the line goes across the street. But we wait every time. The staff is a younger crowd but the seem to work fast. You never have to wait too long. They are pleasant most of the time. I have only found 2 or 3 staff members who was rude but they no longer work there. They have specials where you can get a main course with a drink and sundae for a low price.

This is the first Dairy Queen location I've been in since 2012 and I should have read the reviews before visiting. This place is without a doubt living up to it's 1 star reviews The service is sssslllllooooowwwwww even when there is zero customers inside the business. Even with no customers, I still had to identify the two blizzards I wanted THREE TIMES. Maybe I should repeat that here three times as well? To top it off, it was very off putting to see ZERO gloves being worn. I watch two banana splits being made sans gloves like that is how the employees are taught. Do I even need to mention no one washing their hands after handling money before making orders? Long story short; do not recommend. Will not visit again. Will stick with grocery store ice cream from now on. It's faster and much more sanitary.

Not much to say, I always come here for my ice cream fix. I always get the butterfinger blizzard with extra butterfinger. I've never had anything else on their menu, so I can't speak on the actual food.

Local Northside staple. Come support this privately owned business. Always fast and friendly service. Quality is always consistent.

Ordered the Royal New York Cheescake Blizzard and there's barely any toppings, mostly ice cream and not as thick as a blizzard should be. I usually visit the San Jose location and never have this issue. After the lady at the drive through handed the blizzard, no words were spoken...have a great day or anything. Customer service is lacking.

Pros: It's Dairy Queen. My chicken tenders and fries were actually pretty good. Located right off the highway for a quick stop. Ice cream cakes sold at this location. Cons: Employees don't greet you. Slices of bread that come with meal are stale. There's only soda as a fountain drink...no juice at all!

Went in tonight to get ice cream and some food. We of course got our ice cream first. But had to wait 40 minutes for our food. While the people who came in behind us got their food way before us. When asked how much longer they refused to answer us and then when they got our food ready they were like here is your food. Will never go back.

Super nice friendly people. A very old building but it's really cute. If you want the drive-through that you can't see from upfront you have to drive around the gas station onto the road behind it and then you'll see the sign LOL

The worst Dairy Queen location I've ever been to. The quality of food isn't good, it tasted old and the gravy was watery and tasteless. The customer service is non existent. Dairy Queen generally comes out hot and delicious for what it is at other locations so skip this location and go to another!

Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard with no strawberries lol last week I ordered the same thing but it had no graham pieces! This location definitely needs some menu training. The manager Tiffany was extremely rude on the phone and didn't offer to even remake it. She said to reach out to the Owner if I want a refund.

I was wondering why they didn't have much business as they used to have. We used to eat lunch and there be multiple cars in the drive thru. Now we know why. The customer service here is the absolute worst. Don't waste your money on these rude people. You can definitely tell they hate doing their job. Doesn't even deserve the one star

Today was my first and last time going to this Dairy Queen location. I ordered two banana splits. One had hot fudge, caramel, nuts and whip cream and the other hot fudge, nuts and whip cream. The total was a little over 13 dollars. At the window I asked why it was so much. Apparently at this location they charge 50 cents extra for not only whip cream and nuts but also for changing the pineapple and strawberry toppings to caramel and hot fudge. I should have looked at the items before I got home because they I would have seen how little hot fudge was put on the ice cream. One pass through! Not only was I charged extra for a topping, but it wasn't even put on! The one star is for the employee. She was nice.

Only Dairy Queen around and store has zero customers at prime time. Only people were workers that had just gotten off work. We were invited in through receiving a Happy Birthday free Blizzard if you buy one. We arrive, open the email, and bring up the coupon. We show it to them with the required barcode etc. They refused to take it and the manager verified that as well. Luckily my wife also received one from Cold Stone that we like better anyways and have always been very nice. We thought we would try DQ out since we haven't been in a while. Oh well, unfortunately it was just as we remembered. They are a full size unit that serves the full array of food and desserts along with ice cream cakes. We tried to order a cake last month and had an issue as well and ended up going elsewhere. Not sure what's going on at this place.

I have been going to this Dairy Queen for years and years and years. My daughters are now 21 & 22 years old and this is where I use to take them for ice cream when they were growing up. We didn't have the whole fro-yo craze going on back then, so this is where they always begged to go. A lot of fond memories here with my girls, for sure! After all these years, they still continue to provide great service here with a smile. The restaurant is always nice and clean (as are the restrooms), and despite its age, it still looks pretty good. I can't say I've ever been very fond of Dairy Queen food; although, I do really love their bbq sandwiches. I'm not sure what's so darn good about them, but I really love them! But it's Dairy Queen, it's really all about the ice cream anyway, right?! I don't know what I love best... a chocolate dipped soft serve cone, a banana split, a blizzard, or a peanut buster parfait. Choices, choices, choices. Decisions, decisions, decisions. They do have a drive through, but it's kinda hard to get to. Well, it's not hard to get to as long as you know how to get to it. You have to actually drive down the street that runs behind the Dairy Queen and there you will find the entrance to the drive-thru. It's very narrow and it's one of those drive-thrus you can't get out of once you get into it. So don't get in line and then decide you don't want to be there anymore because you will be stuck. I recommend going inside though because unless there is no other car in line, the drive thru here always moves slowly. By going inside the store, you'll get your food/ice cream much faster.

This has to be the worst managed store In the chain! Got a chocolate sundae without the chocolate! Refused to wait in line again! Nobody pays attention to to what they are doing. Nobody cares. I am a resident and I won't be back. The prices are for tourists and fools. The food isn't that good anyway. This has never been a good place! If your a customer, check your order at the window!

The service here is always great I got the cheeseburger meal and compared to other fast food establishments I found the burger to be pretty small. The strawberry/banana smoothie was pretty tasty, and my fries were piping hot. And of course I couldnt go to DQ without getting a pineapple and strawberry blizzard!!

Was at this Dairy Queen this past Friday Sept.27th and got a cone for my daughter , wife and myself , no problem charged 10. And change all good then noticed another charge on Sunday when I never left my house , not cool ! WATCH OUT FOR THIS DAIRY QUERN THEY ARE DOUBLE DIPPING YOUR POCKET ! Called the manager , she said to call Bill the owner , I did and left a VM and he never called me back . You maybe getting a single dip , yet they might as they did me double dip your credit or debit card as they did my card ! Someone with no name apologized , np next time I will make sure I have cash going here , so I don't have to worry about anyone double charging me , if you were truly sorry you would invite me and my family to come back for FREE ICE CREAM !!!!

I love DQ. This location is in a very confusing strip mall off the highway exit and it's got a drive thru we could not find. So we went in. Employees sitting around. No customers. Wanted a chocolate/vanilla twist cone. Were told "no chocolate tonight". Seriously? You're out of 50% of your flavors??? The floor is FILTHY in this location. Some franchisee is absent. I guarantee it. Don't go here.

Stopped by on a hot day last week. It's not far from home or my job! I kept it simple and ordered a strawberry sundae. The service was fast and polite. Next time I'll try a Blizzard I'm not trying to get fatter lol !

Overall not any bad experiences. Came here twice on a vacation to get blizzards. Service was quick however, my dad who loves chocolate ice cream told us he came here and there was no chocolate ice cream. My friends and I found out quickly that they NEVER have chocolate ice cream. So, if you're a fan of the chocolate...too bad so sad hun. Also, when we went inside the restaurant, and our cashier flipped the blizzards, she stared into our souls to the point where I no longer wanted the ice cream. That is all. Consider twice. Yeet.

I've lived here for ten years and this is consistently the worst DQ ever. So disorganized, dirty, confused, and the staff just dies not give af.

Brought my flag football team here to celebrate our great season. It's always consistently slow, smelly, sticky counters, sticky floors with a lack of customer service. It's a culture thing and reflects on the poor leadership, management and ownership of this location. Fruit flies all over, etc.

Good value for the lunch specials. Nothing more yummy than a DQ on a hot day. Even our dog loves to have a cup of ice cream.

They had 5 people working and none of them were just taking orders. There was a line and we waited for 10 minutes to order inside. To my surprise they didn't have twist ice cream for a cone. They just dip it in chocolate. At least they had my rainbow sprinkles.

I have a soft spot for Dairy Queen because it was the only fast food joint in the town where I grew up. These days I usually only have Dairy Queen while on road trips. I was happy to see that this location still sells ice cream cakes. The menu has changed quite a bit since my last visit to a Dairy Queen, but they still have the classic chicken strip basket. We shared a 6 piece basket and each got a blizzard. Service was good and the food came out fast and at the appropriate temperature. Everything was great, well accept for the toast which is basically a filler item anyway. It was easy to get off and on I-295 to continue our drive to Savannah.

This is an okay location...The food isn't the best.....the main reason to come to this location or any other Dairy Queen for that matter is the blizzards..... I can't get enough of the M&M blizzard.... The service here is average at best....And it can take an irritatingly long time to receive your order....

I hadn't been to a dairy queen in years. Recently moved near this store's location and was very pleased to return. The gentleman who took my order was very nice, informative and worked quickly to provide me with my order(even though I could tell I came during their busy time). Very happy with my experience.

There is no way you should have to pay 2.75 for a soft serve icream from Dairy Queen. My wife and I stopped by on the way home from meeting. I am so amazed how they get away with it. We could have went across the street to the Arches and would have saved 3 dollars. If it was ice cream I could see but.a machine served iteam no way. Someone please stop the madness. Ok and last the girl at the window needs to smile when working with customers.

Awesome food and service....hot fingers and hot fries..very nice staff.Have been in the food buisness for over a decade and half and knw how hard it can be. . This dairy queen rocks

An almost late night dive into the realm of delicious fatness. Trying to think healthy is not happening right now in my life. So with the dairy queen right next door to the real ice cream store. The frozen custard is much better for your waistline or that's what I'm telling myself. The place is old and the drive thu is tucked away. But the peanut butter parfait hits the spot.

Only go there for the Blizzards. Ate an actual meal there and wasn't impressed. Went inside and was disappointed.

I live local and this was my 2nd time going here. I decided to go through the drive-thru with 3 kids in the back. Not only was the ice cream melting but the girl at the window was extremely rude. She acted like she was doing me a favor by serving us. Word of advice...have your friendly employees serve customers and make the unhappy ones work in the back. Left a bad taste in my mouth since we were really craving ice cream that day.

This is the SADDEST Dairy Queen I have ever been to!!!! They are slow and do NOT communicate whatsoever!! It took them 20 mins just to take our order (just blizzards and a hot fudge sundae). When they finally took our order we waited about 20 mins for 2 blizzard, meanwhile our other ice creams had melted on the counter. When we asked for them to be remade the manager looked at us like we were the biggest inconvenience. While we were there we also saw 2 other orders messed up, 2 groups of people walk out without even being acknowledged, and several orders made twice and thrown away. This place is in some serious need to new management!!! The employees were working hard but they didn't know what to do due to lack of guidance. Will not EVER be coming back to this one. The ones where I live are great but this place was a major disappointment. People skills are needed greatly for these people!!

This location is normally dead and still slow. We just waited at the counter for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. The manager, I use that word loosely, rang the bell for service himself after delivering food to a table. Wait, isn't that your job?? Then as he was making a customers order he made a comment about how the line just keeps getting longer. You'd think for a location that is usually slow this would be a good thing. After watching him make eye contact a couple of times and then just turn his back, slamming things around, we made his line a little shorter for him!

I come once a year and every year they can't seem to get the order right. As most dairy queens the wait is long but it's a near by place that has good ice cream. But the could really work on training their employees better on using the registers and fixing order properly.
