I have been going to this Dairy Queen for years and years and years. My daughters are now 21 & 22 years old and this is where I use to take them for ice cream when they were growing up. We didn't have the whole fro-yo craze going on back then, so this is where they always begged to go. A lot of fond memories here with my girls, for sure!
After all these years, they still continue to provide great service here with a smile. The restaurant is always nice and clean (as are the restrooms), and despite its age, it still looks pretty good.
I can't say I've ever been very fond of Dairy Queen food; although, I do really love their bbq sandwiches. I'm not sure what's so darn good about them, but I really love them! But it's Dairy Queen, it's really all about the ice cream anyway, right?! I don't know what I love best... a chocolate dipped soft serve cone, a banana split, a blizzard, or a peanut buster parfait. Choices, choices, choices. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
They do have a drive through, but it's kinda hard to get to. Well, it's not hard to get to as long as you know how to get to it. You have to actually drive down the street that runs behind the Dairy Queen and there you will find the entrance to the drive-thru. It's very narrow and it's one of those drive-thrus you can't get out of once you get into it. So don't get in line and then decide you don't want to be there anymore because you will be stuck. I recommend going inside though because unless there is no other car in line, the drive thru here always moves slowly. By going inside the store, you'll get your food/ice cream much faster.
