consistently great icecream! i come here regularly to catch up with friends!

They refused to dip the ice cream in the sprinkles. Every other ice cream parlor does but not this location. Ice cream was so warm it was nearly liquid. Run by poorly supervised teens. Stay away.

We’ve been coming here for 6 years. We came today for their blizzard promotion and they would not honor the promotion. Do not come here, they will not do the right thing by you.

I went to Dairy Queen today and was on line. The girl at the register saw me and called the people behind me to go next. I didn't think much of it at first because im sure she thought i was being helped but she never asked me anything, pretended i wasnt there and CONTINUED to call the individuals behind me. It made me feel angry, discriminated and upset since ive never had an issue there before. The girl seemed new but seemed very aware of what she was doing.

Great experience, chap named anthony helped me out. I think he would look great with a low taper fade.

This place is great for an evening out to treat yourself to a delicious creamy dreamy ice cream I had the orange dream it was so good you got to try it

I always have a great experience there. Dairy Queen’s ice cream of course is wonderful. I read a complaint about too many crunchy’s in a cake.🎂 isn’t that the BEST PART! 😆 but thanks for your clean & nice establishment. Keep up the good work. I just sent my mom there right now actually

The local kids who work here are fun energetic and good at what they do! Good stuff all around!

This shop and it's employees have always been amazing! They take care of you in a timely manner even when it's swamped!! I've gotten so many cakes here for different holidays and events and I'm never disappointed Even if you have to drive a little farther, come here it's worth it!

Disappointed. Ordered a blue slushee he gave me this... blue water and barely any ice. He Even looked at it and knew something was wrong. We asked for another , he apologized which I am appreciative of. Then gave me the same thing again.... blue liquid with Barely any ice. Went home and threw it away. Oh and since you guys are open during this time I still gave a tip cause that's the right thing to do. And what a POOR POOR response from the owner. You lost many customers here! Thank yourself

Great location. We popped in on the first day of spring and the owner generously gave a free nice sized cone to 3 of us.

Always a favorite stop, when I visit my friend near by! We got blizzards! Delic! Fast service!

What's not to like about Dairy Queen? Always nice kids working there, doing their best.

Northvale location is by far the best and closest to old school soft serve I remember from my childhood

This is our place to go to for ice cream. The girls are always nice. The portions are not consistent with the blizzards. It is clean

Its not the deluxe Dairy Queen with the extra food and stuff, but the Ice Cream is ALL I need... And yes, they have all the ice cream selections the full sized DQ has... A must have :)

I ordered a chocolate brownie extreme blizzard here and just got a cup of chocolate ice cream with a sprinkling of stale brownies. No choco chunks, No cocoa fudge. Nothing Extreme about it. When I asked them to correct it they told me that's how it was supposed to be made and refused. Very rude!

Love this location! Staff is very friendly. They also make beautiful custom cakes for different occasions.

Can't resist a soft serve twist with chocolate sprinkles. It reminds me of my youth. I wish I could eat one of these every day. I think DQ makes some of the best soft serve ice cream.

Sounds a little silly to review a DQ, but the staff working here was really sweet and friendly. My friend and I went for soft serve on a week night and the portions were generous, price low (like all DQ of course), and great service. A very pleasant experience given what one usually encounters experiencing fast food. May not be your small-batch, hand-crafted artisan ice cream, but good in a pinch!

Forget all the higher end ice cream places like Coldstone and Hagen Daz . Nothing tastes better than DQ. The Northvale location is friendly , clean and efficient even when very busy . DQ brings you back to a simpler part of your life , and before silly things like cotton candy or bubblegum ice cream .

I just stopped in for a medium soft serve and was very disappointed! They charged me almost $4.00 for a medium cup and it had one very small scoop. It was pathetic!. When I nicely questioned the two teenagers working the counter, they shrugged their shoulders and said "Yep...it's a medium"! Bad service and very small portions for the price. I often purchase the same exact ice cream order in Old Tappan, and it's twice the size with great customer service! Skip this location and go elsewhere!

DQ is alright. This location used to be TCBY (The Country's Best Yogurt). I never liked that place either ha. But there is really nothing special about this Dairy Queen. Funny thing is now they serve like fast food meals like chicken sandwiches. So weird.

I went in to get a milkshake and I laid it right on the line for the teenager behind the counter..."I have food allergies. I'm deathly allergic to nuts but I really would like to have a milkshake." The girl (I wish I remembered her name) was so caring just from me saying that statement alone. She said she wasn't sure if it would be safe for me to have because there is a lot of cross-contamination going on (because they have nut products) and she didn't want to give me something that could be harmful. Her concern was very nice. So I ordered a vanilla milkshake for my mom. She asked me what I was interested in having, because she would call her manager at home and find out if it was safe. I wanted a caramel milkshake. So she called her manager up to ask and the manager wasn't sure. I told the girl I have had caramel toppings at that location before and she said okay. She also volunteered to clean the machine which she did right in front of me. Mind you, she was the only employee there and there is only one shake machine. When other customers came in, I told her she could help them, but she really went the extra mile and told me that she wanted to finish helping me first. I really thank this Dairy Queen location for treating me with dignity and respect regarding my food allergies.

Dairy Queen is usually great, but this one just hired new staff who were extremely rude and inappropriate. They locked us out at 9:30 even though they close at 10:00, and then when the people tried to leave, the girl tried to just let them out and not let the door open enough for us to get in. They argued with us and said they would only let us get one thing. We ordered a blizzard and they lied to us and said they were out of Reese's even though the people that just left had some. Then they purposely put a soft drink lid on it and gave us the wrong spoon. The whole time they gave each other sarcastic looks like the whole thing was just some joke. Then they gave us all of our change in nickels and their excuse was "it's the end of the night." This was literally the worst experience I have ever had at a dairy queen. I suggest going to the one in Old Tappan if you are in the area. These girls are obviously too young and immature to even sell ice cream. They should both be fired.
