Arrived with quite an expectation but I must say it ended with quite a disappointing one, and this owner clearly can't take criticism. I would expect her to post a reply to this review soon anyway, as she did rudely to all others who gave them negative reviews.
No matter, I will post what I felt about the whole short experience in her cafe/shop.
She is overly cautious about her stuffs, other reviews said the same. As soon as we came in, the first sentence she said was "Do not touch that, please".
Excuse me, my kids did not and have not started touching anything aside from looking curiously at that fire pit indoor. From past replies from owner in the past, she said tonns of tourists dropped by and perhaps she is afraid stuffs get broken or damaged by customers, but hey, its like this everywhere in the world. Businesses around the world would simply just have a notice that states "Once broken considered sold". It's not that hard.
Look, I get that it takes 70mins to make a batch of fudge, (yes, I read reviews) but to us, its just way too sweet, from the picture, you can see that we bought the coffee and chocolate flavors, my wife loves anything chocolate and fudge, and tasted way better fudge from even other parts of Aust.
A tasting plate of fudge of various flavors cost $6, perhaps its a culture thing here in Australia, but from where I came from and also other Asian countries, tasting is Free, and usually we will buy the food out of goodwill even though it does not taste to our liking just to show our support to the owners. (Just see the example that my wife bought 2 packs from you even though we did not like the vibes that you created the moment we came in). This is our culture!
Once again, I expect the owner to post a reply to this review anyway in which I couldn't counter-reply, but I will leave it as it is and this is just the true experience we felt.
