DAISO York Foods Waseda Store

This Daiso is located near Waseda University. Overall, it's a relatively small shop with just the basics, probably catering to the students.

Tough place to shop for a vegetarian, especially if you are used to the choices available in Western Europe. Absolutely wonderful introduction to Japanese produce and especially seafood, if that's something you can enjoy.

A small Daiso shop with basic products. Not so crowded.

Small store, this is medium-to-small for Tokyo, especially when compared to many other places. They have a balanced selection of goods despite the size (good stationery/drugstore selection), and sell food despite the supermarket downstairs, but definitely not everything Daiso carries. The queue for the cashier can be annoying as you have to wait in the middle of the store if it becomes too long.

Not cramped at all like the one in Shibuya! There is still a wide selection of goods (kitchen, bath, bedroom, stationery, crafts, toys, makeup, etc) and they even sell Halloween costumes and decoration around that time of year. They also play catchy music and the staff is nice as an added bonus :)

Small shop but has the basics items for daily life at home and office

Nice 100 yen shop. Conveniently located in the same building as Ito Yokado supermarket. The products range from cutlery to stationery.

Rather small with a limited variety of products, but still worth stopping by.
