Our large group of old (70+) college friends have stayed in a lot of big holiday homes over the years, and Edgar House is by far the best ever, with the highest marks in every detail.
As others have noted, it is conveniently and attractively located, overloooking the city walls and River Dee, with private parking and a short walk to historic sites, shops, restaurants and pubs.
The interior is stunning and spotlessly clean, with quirky artwork and plenty of space for sitting and dining en masse; and all the themed and spacious en suite bedrooms are very appointed and have extremely comfortable beds. The kitchen is abundantly equipped with everything needed for cooking, entertaining, and cleaning, with masses of plates, cutlery and glasses of all sizes. We didn't use the games or media rooms, but would have in our younger days.
The garden is also lovely, again with plenty of seating for relaxing or al fresco dining, and although it is bordered by the city walls path, it was private and undisturbed.
We had an excellent week, and highly recommend Edgar House.
