Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Eki Mae

Being a corner room, the room is spacious, which allows to have 2 luggages open up in the room while still plenty of space to move around. There is a massage chair in the room, which is a nice to have for relaxing at the end of the day. The view from the room was nice, and it was not too noisy despite being close to the street. There are Lawson, 7Eleven, Family Mart nearby within walking distance. The hotel is walkable distance to Nagoya station. There is a lift nearby which can lead to the station via an underground street, which makes it convenient if you have to transport your luggages to the station, but it takes some time to navigate through it.The only problem we have with the hotel was that there was no free parking even for people staying at the hotel, and the paid parking provided by the hotel does not allow entry/exit after 23:00, so we have to park our car at a paid parking around the corner instead after our late night out.

Very nice hotel close to all transportation in Nagoya. Typical style room, very nice lobby area. Great staff. If you stay here, be sure to add the breakfast buffet. It was exceptional and included items from many cultures too numerous to mention. They even had Nato, if you want to experience that in Japan (it's still pretty hard to enjoy even if it might be the healthiest thing a person can eat).

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to the train station, which made getting around really convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the food at the hotel itself was quite enjoyable as well.The room was comfortable and clean, though the size was quite small—definitely not spacious, but just enough for a short stay. Overall, the great location and good food more than made up for it. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for convenience and a comfortable place to stay.

Clean hotel albeit dated. Conveniently located near the Nagoya station and there is a Lawson just below the hotel. room size 18m2 was good for 2 persons but mattress was a little too soft. Though the room was facing the main road, there was not much road noise. Attractively priced too. Highly recommended!

I stayed with the Roynet hotels before but this was my first time at this location. It’s a little further away compared to some other options closer to the hotel but it worked out well enough for me.A small gripe is the ground floor elevator only services the check in lobby but it’s only a small delay with getting in and out of the hotel. I thought everything else about the hotel was great. At first I was worried about the road noise because it’s directly by the road. The road noise is audible during the day but I’m a light sleeper and the road traffic went down enough significantly during standard sleep hours that when I woke up I didn’t even realize I slept past my standard bedtime.The amenities are standard like most hotels provide. I love the bed and pillows at this location. They weren’t too firm and not too soft. My neck was very happy.I’ll definitely consider this hotel in the future.

More than adequate for the room we had for 2. Space, beds and all amenities are good for a standard hotel. Near JR and local trains and under 5 mins walk - straight walk to either stations. With easy access to both trains, visiting attraction breeze. A must stay for us when visiting next.

We have a 4 year old kid with us. Stayed for 6 nights.It is near to JR Nagoya, Meitetsu and Kintetsu. There is a Lawson and 7-11 downstairs. Lots of eateries nearby. Wonderful hotel. No frills.
