The best specialty coffee shop in Amsterdam! Although it’s a bit away from the city center, it’s definitely worth the trip. There’s a large city garden nearby, so if the café gets crowded, you can grab a coffee to go and enjoy it surrounded by greenery. I came here from several hundred kilometers away just to try their coffee – and I was absolutely not disappointed.

Extremely aesthetic store and delicious coffee to go with it! Barista was very friendly and helpful when answering questions about all their different beans they had on offer. A must visit if you want to have some specialty coffee They also offer tastings that require reservations which we will definitely be back for!

Came here with high expectations and was not disappointed! Great coffee, expert baristas and a nice style come together here. OH and the ridiculously large selection of beans to buy and take home make it even better. If you are into coffee and around Amsterdam, definitely come by!

DAK has someone the nicest coffees I’ve ever tasted. Both their washed and the heavier fermented coffees are top notch! Aside from the coffee in the cafe, we really enjoyed the coffee tasting. It might seem a bit pricey, but you get to try a bunch of coffees from DAK back to back and learn about them along the way. Our host was great, and really took us on a nice journey with the coffees they had presented. Plus you get to proper nerd out about coffee, if that’s your vibe.

Llana & Hilda were really generous with their time explaining the differences in flavour, process and tastes of the different coffees. Super lovely experience - highly recommend just sitting and trying a few different coffees. Tried an experimental called Lady in Red - really nice fruit forward taste, clean but interesting process that started layered and finished clean.

Of all coffeeshops I have gone to, DAK might be my top pick, or at the very least one of my top picks so far. The flavors and brewing are just incredible, and the options are impressive for sure. Service is more or less great (at worst polite, at best super cheery and friendly) depending on who’s there, but the whole staff definitely knows what they’re doing and is always amiable. Atmosphere is chill and pretty cool.

Coffee tastes experience, one of the best and most interesting tastes experience I have ever had. Experienced and passionate people who love their job will bring you through this amazing world and you will fall in love with it!

Dope vibe. This place attracts like minded aficionados from the guests to the employees. Everyone is there for the same reason and super excited to have that shared experience. I didn’t see any food so I can’t leave any stars for that, but it’s a coffee snobs paradise without the elitism. If you like to get granular with the tasting notes and dive into the origin of the bean along with a very specific and varied brew method then this is a top destination. I would recommend booking a sesh in the tasting room. I didn’t do it, but I’d like to live vicariously through your reviews. Please take full length videos and post it here for the lurkers.
