Dakota Hotel Leeds

I have been several times now for food, and each time the service and food has been absolutely faultless and Dakota is my favourite places to dine out in Leeds. Most recently I went for Sunday Lunch and the experience again lived up to the standard of all my previous visits. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to our host Annie, who was absolutely fantastic: friendly, professional, and helpful throughout. The meal itself was a delight. We opted for the three-course Sunday lunch, and at just £40 per person, it was exceptional value. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with flavour and great portion size. The sticky toffee pudding is a must to try if you go. The venue itself also needs a shout out as it's just as impressive as the food. Stylish, modern, and contemporary. It offers a sleek yet cosy atmosphere and is leagues above most other restaurants in Leeds. I honestly can't recommend dining at Dakota enough and I can't wait to go back for my next visit.

We stayed here for just the one night and again we were blown away by the staff. The hotel is modern and stylish. It is suitable for every type of traveller. The staff are exceptional at this Dakota Hotel, we have stayed at others but always find this one to be top notch. All the staff from the bar and grill are friendly and efficient. A big shout out to the blonde receptionist (Emma, I think) who was having a difficult day but was courteous and welcoming. She deserves a raise. A big thumbs up to everyone though.

Stayed for 4 days whilst my son was waiting for surgery. Every single member off staff I came across was lovely. Emma from reception wrote a lovely card for me when she found out why I was staying, with a little teddy for my son!||The room was nice and clean, serviced every day. Missed a few things that I would have expected from a 5 star hotel like a fridge/minibar. Despite this I would definitely stay again. Great location, did I mention the lovely staff!!

Outstanding , is the word that describes our stay. We stayed on the Sunday deal that includes breakfast and late check out. The Hotel check in staff have exceptional customer service skills. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and smells amazing. Room was beautiful. Bar ambience was good. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return

A really nice quality hotel in the centre of Leeds. Well put together with luxurious rooms. Would’ve got 5/5 had it been better staffed.||Evening bar service was pretty slow with staff obviously under pressure - stood at the bar with a group of six and staff seemed to be prioritising table service. Not an issue if that’s policy but at least explain it so we don’t all stand there like spare parts!||Stood for a few minutes waiting for a table at 7am for breakfast - no staff showed so I just sat down (as the restaurant was fairly empty). I saw numerous members of staff walk past and wasn’t until my colleagues checked in that I got a drink and menu - if it’s table service then there really should be staff on duty.

Had a lovely stay at Dakota. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive making sure we had the best experience. It was our first time staying here and felt very lucky to be spending my birthday here overnight. The room was above expectations and had a lovely sleep with room service breakfast the next morning which was a lovely ending to a night away!

I stayed at Dakota this month for three nights for my wedding. We booked the biggest suite in the hotel and it was absolutely amazing. The team here are something special, they all care about their job so much and made our and our guests experience an absolute joy. The suite was worth every single penny and is truly luxurious. Without a doubt this is the best hotel in all of Leeds and surrounding areas. I will recommend you to everyone. Thank you so so much for making our wedding stay one to remember forever ❤️❤️

We hosted our evening reception of our wedding here and what can I say. Best night of our lives. Our goal was to have a party, and it was just that!! From the get go, Alistair was amazing when it came to planning. We knew that we were going to be having our wedding lunch over at RBG, so we were arriving from 7pm on the evening. The planning was seamless. The communication was brilliant and I never once had any doubt or fear on Dakota (which as a bride LOL it can be real). We had meetings and catch ups about running of the night, and the team accommodated all of our requests which is great. We had the whole of the downstairs restaurant. We had the DJ set up by the bar without tables, which served as the best dance floor, and kept seating around the other side with the booths. We had a photo-booth in one of the rooms which is always a winner at a wedding. We had canapés come round in the evening (which were delicious), along with our wedding cake being served (which Chef cut up and sorted out for us - thanks Chef!!). The team working on the night were great - they were so nice, and on such a high along with everyone else. Shout out to George, Kyha, Jaden, Asher, Georgia, Fathia and Adelaide!! We have absolutely no faults with Dakota, it was so much fun and I wish we could do it all over again. The vibes were so high that my husband’s uncle actually thought we were in a club. Goal of having a party: completed, and then some!
