Dakota Dunes Resort

We had a Valentine’s weekend getaway and was very much needed. We found a way to reconnect with each other through the exciting experience at the Dunes! Unfortunately our room wasn’t ready at 4:15 so we had to sit in the lobby for 40 minutes before we got into our room. Luckily, our dinner reservation wasn’t until 6:15 so we had time to get into the pool before eating. Following our swim, we went downstairs to the Moose Wood Grill! It was the best meal I have had in a long time. The Atlantic salmon was so wonderful and the bacon with the Brussels sprouts tied it all together. When I say it was the BEST BACON I HAVE EVER HAD… just go see for yourself!! The food was amazing, the service impeccable, and the slots ft the hockey game after dinner? Perfect afternoon. The next morning, we had a 10 am reservation for breakfast and were graciously given a late checkout to accommodate for our reservation. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a vacation that was definitely needed.

Absolutely disappointed. I signed up for there email bonuses and I received a email that said with no clauses that if booking between the 23-25 of February I would get a $50 gift certificate for their restaurant. I am actually working in Saskatoon but thought I'll stay at resort for the bonus. Normally I love the restaurant and brag about how good the food is. Was telling all my colleagues about good deal I was going to get. But apparently (not labeled anywhere) that if your a senior.and take the senior discount you do not get the bonuses. Well is that's fair, because every hotel offers a senior discount, so there was no reason to actually chose this resort over a hotel in Saskatoon where I am actually working. Note to self and everyone that I told was the hotel to stay at, I'll have to correct that. However Mathew the cleaner was more a concierge then a cleaner, when the front desk did absolutely nothing to please their customer that allow them to have a paycheck. He chose to step up, help us get our luggage to the room since there was no carts available when we arrived. If it wasn't for him correcting the service this rating would.of been a 2

Room was beautiful, they messed up my booking then tried to blame me, even though if what’s the front desk said was right they were still wrong. I ordered 2 things to be in the room. A delights board and a bottle of wine. They said I ordered 2 boards. Fine. But there was only still 1 in the room so that was wrong. One of the front desk guys was super amazing and tried to sort it out. The other just wanted to argue. Then went for breakfast next morning. Sat in the dining room for 15 minutes no one came to even give us waters. They cleaned tables around us and completely ignored we were sitting there. Saw others walk out too. So that kinda ruined things a little.

We have been going to the Dakota Dunes Resort for the past 3-4 years for staycations and have always been really pleased with our stay. From the friendliness, cleanliness, facilities offered, and the food. Everything is always amazing. We recently just had our Wedding there and was very impressed and pleased. The staff were absolutely amazing! They were very helpful, communication was easy. They were accommodating to our needs and were able to make last minute adjustments when needed. Check in was easy, able to accommodate early check-ins for our guests. Our food for our wedding was catered from Moose Woods Home Fire Grill within the resort and it was absolutely delicious. We had some many family and friends compliment on how good the food was. Our wedding was everything we imagined and we couldn't of done it without the hard work the staff did for us. Highly recommend to everyone!

Amazing experience every time. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is accessible and suitable for kids and dogs. There’s walking/electric bike paths that are beautiful. The pool and hot tub are on the rooftop and they have an incredible view. Each room has floor to ceiling windows that capture the stunning views incredibly. The food at the restaurant is homemade and high quality. The most delicious cesar salad O have ever had. The food served at the conferences/retreats I have attended is unique, healthy and abundant. It’s less than 20 minutes away from Saskatoon so super convenient to pop in if needed. Incredible experience each time I’ve staid. Highly recommend.

The room was amazing. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean and decor was very nice. The casino was busy, they had a dj in there which was awesome. The only complaint I have was we booked through Expedia and when we got home I checked my credit card and the resort also charged my credit card for my stay after I had paid for my room through Expedia. Lucky I checked my card or I would have got charged twice.

Everyone working here was super nice! Check in was smooth & fast, view was beautiful. Pool and hot tub and gym were all clean. And we also got a really great price. I would def recommend 🥰

The Dakota Dunes is a great place for a staycation, the area is fantastic. The hotel is new, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. We usually go for a night in combination with a meal, in this case it was a 3 course meal that was absolutely fantastic. The service is excellent, all the staff we dealt with were friendly and forthcoming. We really enjoy our stays here, probably by now 6 or 7 times. We will be going here a few more times in the future, looking forward to the special staycation deals they have.

Good time, I had some good dry ribs with my husband. Clean and comfortable bed, decent view from the window. Interesting and beautiful art!

Another lovely stay. Pet friendly. Beautiful rooms with wonderful views. So many food options. Interesting displays of native artifact. Casino let's you play for a while.
