Dakota Dunes Resort

I had my wedding here in August. The staff were all very professional throughout our whole experience including the planning. Everything was pretty straight forward and organized. The hotel is clean and with very nice rooms. The pool has a beautiful view and calming atmosphere. And the food was absolutely amazing! I think my favourite part was the food actually. There was a minor bump in our check in but it was resolved quickly. Our venue space was also very beautiful, and they made sure we were accommodated throughout our whole experience. I would recommend Dakota dunes for a wedding venue or for parties and events. And of course a bonus was going to the casino anytime; I’m looking forward to go back and enjoy the new spa this year!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at DD. We stayed for4 nights. The room was very clean and new looking and quiet. The full length windows gave us a fantastic view from the 6th floor. The 6.3 km walk around the perimeter of the golf course was very lovely. We walked it several times each day. It was a quiet refuge from our full lives. The Moose Woods Grill is excellent. The food was delicious and the service was very quick. The whole experience was excellent.

We stayed for 3 nights, and while the rooms were decent, everything else was horrid. We had to ask every single day for more coffee I the room, because we only received 2 regular, and 2 decaf for 3 nights stay for 2 people. On top of that, despite asking several times for room cleaning service, we never once got our room cleaned. At one point we had to call the front desk(after asking the cleaners in person!) to send someone to change our towels, our empty shampoo, and our full garbage can. When someone finally showed up, he had not been told what was needed, so was completely unprepared. We also ordered the charcuterie board specifically for our second night(and we specified the night we wanted it when ordering), but it was already in our fridge when we checked in, and it was already quite stale. The food options, while they look and sound great, are incredibly low quality, with everything seemingly overcooked, undercooked, or old. We did order in to our room one evening of our stay, and they decided not to mention the $12 "in room dining" fee at the time of ordering, only putting the charge on our bill after it was too late. Overall, it has the appearance of a nice hotel, with the atmosphere, service, and cleanliness of a grungy dive hotel.

Stayed here over the weekend and everything was so good! The front desk staff were so nice!! Only thing was I wish the pool was warmer but that’s more just my own personal preference! Will be back!

Had a terrific time as my cousin got married at the location, although our rooms were mixed up we made the best of it and didn't complain as we were all there for the happy couple. All staff from front desk to the casino were friendly and accommodating, loved our waitress in the restaurant. The only main complaint I have as well as my aunts and family on our floor have/had was our housekeeper, she was rude and got more rude when we couldn't understand her, she made our stay in our rooms very uncomfortable.

I was extremely disappointed.I went there on a staycation with my two babies and my old man, this is not the first time I've stayed here. Probably about the fourth or fifth , the call checking powers , told the only had a king size which I was awesome , told me an additional charge of a hundred dollars , making the room 250 or 290 taxes.in although there was 4 of us, I agreed because there was only option and I figured, oh, this must be a beautiful room, big little king bed, which will finish fine because we have a king size at home shockingly to my surprise, I paid extra money for Queen's size this suite. Because that's the size of the bed that they're trying to push off as a king, there's no way in hell was a king size bed.We didn't fit on it.First of all , my husband had to lay on my feet cause there was no room for all of us side by side, which would you can tell it wasn't the king size bed.So I'm not sure why I'd be paying extra to be put in my room with a one Queen size bed room wasn't anybigger or anything nicer so I was quite upset i would what have complained in the morning.Because not only was this not a king size bad.We were not even offered the option to have a cot brought up for our kids or made aware we could also, the fans in the bathroom, they appear to have a fan but there is no fan.It's very quiet in the rooms and quite uncomfortable.Trying to use the washroom when there's just a sliding, tiny little door that doesn't even close all the way.And I don't know where these open concept bedrooms and bathrooms come from , and I think it's ridiculous and I was rather uninpressed not to mention the chaotic checking out process where your staff seems to understand a process that was rather easy and acting frazzled in the masses of people checking out the one guy is ringing everyone out the other girls running around with the chicken like her head cut off not having a clue about which rooms are checking out and after the checks have been made correctly to give deposits back, she was way Uber her head and the gentleman was not helping. Her at all, you guys check out process was unprofessional. And didn't give us a chance to even give our true opinion of our rooms , to your staff , very disappointing , false advertisement , and I was charged a buttload for no reason i couldn't see there for 2 nights for the amount I paid for a room that was so ridiculous.I was blown away.You guys tried to pass off that bed.King size , absolutely ridiculous and charging people an extra hundred for it. .icaramba * side note the pool isn't very nice there.Yeah , very much an afterthought but besides that the pool was freezing cool so much so I could kids could not be in it , cause they were freezing and wouldn't stop shivering , and the hot was way too hot they couldn't go inside that either All around bad experience

First time visitors, great stay!! Wanted to check it out before thermal spa opens. Can’t wait. Might need to add more check in team members when that opens, as I’m sure it will be busier. Room was modern, clean, king bed was comfortable. Room fridge is small. Coffee maker/starbucks coffee was great!! Stayed on a Saturday night and the casino was extremely busy with some people playing 2 machines at a time…don’t think that should be allowed when it was hard to even find a machine to play! But still managed to donate some money!! Received a doggie gift bag on check-in with a toy and poop bags, nice touch! Need more plant based/vegan options at the restaurant.

A very nice resort! The room was lovely, overlooking the golf course, a wonderful view|We did not golf, but the course looks amazing|We had lunch at the golf lounge, it was very good, and the service was awesome||Dinner was fabulous, a wonderful chef! Good service here as well, also at breakfast, everything was super||There are many options for food at the resort, We did not sit in the Casino, but walking through we noticed a variety of food and drink items|The Casino was very nice||They are building a spa that looks amazing for opening in 2026, so we will return to take that in. The resort offers many interesting events all year round||Very nice!

Good time, I had some good dry ribs with my husband. Clean and comfortable bed, decent view from the window. Interesting and beautiful art!

Another lovely stay. Pet friendly. Beautiful rooms with wonderful views. So many food options. Interesting displays of native artifact. Casino let's you play for a while.

The Fabulous burger - (I think it's called the casino burger)Dry ribs and Caesar were great too.
