I stayed at this hotel for a meeting. You can really see a different level of quality here. The staff are friendly and professional, and there’s a nice, unique lounge area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Slightly more expensive than a usual hotel, but definitely worth it.

Lovely hotel, rooms were amazing and very well purveyed for, with lovely minis for your shower and plenty blankets so you are not cold. Breakfast was very good, it had plenty options for me. Staff were lovely and so helpful! I really enjoyed my stay there.

We were gifted a voucher for Dinner Bed &Breakfast as we decided to stay Sunday to Monday we opted for Sunday late lunch and the Bed & Breakfast. From when we arrived we had a very friendly welcome from the reception staff, we were given all the information details. The room was very clean with everything needed for our stay . We had a 3 course lunch which was excellent and the best Sunday lunch we have had in a very long time. As it was an anniversary we had complementary Champagne, the service was exceptional with at least 3 different staff attending us nothing was too much trouble and at the end of the meal we were given a plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate with Turkish delight and chocolates very nice touch. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and again excellent service would like to thank Kirsty and all the staff we will definitely come back. Ann and Andy Brown

This is an excellent hotel near the Edinburgh airport. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The only odd thing is the low level of lighting throughout the public spaces. The food at both breakfast and dinner was very good. The room was one of the few in Scotland that we found where the temperature could be controlled to a nice, cool sleeping temperature.

Good hotel with a trendy ambience. Check in/out very simple. Standard room was good without being great. Just a little bit worn in places. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Good quality television in the room too which is not always the case in a lot of hotels. |Breakfast was very good as was the service.|Would happily stay again.

In full transparency, Dakota Edinburgh was not my first choice. It wasn't even on my radar. I went to Queensferry on my sabbatical to write and to spend a bit of time getting to see if the magic that I sensed whenever I saw pictures of Scotland was real. My plan was to stay in South Queensferry close to the Firth of Fourth. Because they didn't have occupancy for my full stay, I landed at Dakota Edinburgh. Little did I know, that is where the magic would begin for me. I was greeted by such warmth by Chloe Manderson who was both curious and delighted that I would be there for so long, She took great care to make sure that I felt welcomed and knew about all of the amenities of the hotel which included an amazing restaurant. More about that in a bit. From there I was embraced by the entire staff at reception who seemed to truly be just waiting for me to need something so that they could help. Chloe Eyles who made sure I had a cozy place to hunker down and write for hours. Brooke, Sam, Ruth, and Nicole who looked for me in my favorite writing spaces and kept me hydrated with my favorite writing fuel of water and wine. Since I was attempting (mostly successfully) to spend a certain amount of time a week writing, many of my meals were at the hotel and I was fully on board for that! The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the staff to include Callum, Emma, Couper and Yakov who learned my seating preferences and always made sure I had a lovely little corner to sit at and never made me feel rushed or lonely as I meandered through my meals. Kirstin Wisdom and Nathan were like my breakfast besties and fussed over me making sure I ate on the regular and that I knew how to find some kind of daily activity to keep my creative juices flowing. The way Jack and Susan's eyes would light up when I came to the desk to get a table warmed my heart and made me feel so cared for. There was also Craig who kindly shuttled me to the post office and was just so kind and friendly. Also a shout out to the housekeeping crew, especially Jacqui and Zoe who were so respectful of my personal things in the room while at the same time, not just cleaning and freshening up the space but making it feel like they were so happy I was there. On top of all of the impeccable service, the hotel is so lovely with a warm vibe and well arranged space. Its wildly convenient to the airport, Edinburgh and the lovely South Queensferry. Finally, As a single woman, traveling alone I never had one moment where I felt unsafe in this village. Not only did I know the hotel staff kept an eye out for me, the location itself is very walkable to include nighttime hours. I highly recommend without any hesitation. I eagerly look forward to my next visit.

Stayed here overnight recently. Lovely room, only downside is it's advertised as a Smart TV but it isn't- just Sky channels and no catch up. Had a lovely meal here with great service. Would definitely stay again.
