Wow, the hotel looks fantastic, check-in smooth, receptionist took the time to enquire why I was there. The room, stunning, beautifully presented, monsoon shower, gorgeous seating area and a free mini bar. I returned after my gig at the Hydro "K.O.L., my bed had been made and chocolate left. Will recommend to all my friends. Check-out smooth. Old Fashioned at the bar to recommend. I'll return.

Excellent hotel within a short walking distance to Glasgow city centre. our room was tastefully appointed and overall a very comfortable and relaxing place to be. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. Would gladly stay there again!

I love it when a hotel gets it right. I’ve stayed before for a couple of nights but I stayed a week this time. It’s as close to perfection for a medium priced hotel that you can get. The style the decor the ambiance, the service. I can’t fault it. Breakfast is great. No bad toaster here, everything made fresh in the kitchen. The grill at night was perfect as well. The room has Sky and a turn down service which is very rare nowadays. |This is Ken McCulloch at his best. I stayed in Dakota Manchester a couple of weeks ago but Glasgow is even better. You must stay here if you come to Glasgow.

Stayed and dined on our anniversary yesterday evening. Great service, lovely reception staff, upgraded our room (suite was lovely), restaurant presented a personally signed congrats card and free champagne on arrival and food/service was excellent. Overall, a great night and can't fault it. Possibly the best hotel in Glasgow (certainly for the price).

The Dakota is a cool place in the heart of Scotland’s biggest, best city. The rooms are so well decorated that it will make you want to remodel your home. Isn’t lighting the key to everything? The location is central and ideal. The area is in between the Merchant City and the west end and Finnieston. You can walk in any direction and get to what you want. The hotel is hip, sleek, and manages to avoid being corny. It will age well. ||Is Glasgow gritty? Thankfully it is, but there’s plenty of luxury to go around. The Dakota is proof. Am I moving to Glasgow? As I stared out of the tasteful wooden shutters of my room’s enormous window I certainly thought about it. ||Their restaurant looks pretty good too.

Amazing hotel with very goof staff and very clean room. this this the story about the hotel but the bar is different store Adam the new employee was very good in his job along with his supervisor, I don't recall his name, I really went to other five-star hotel the day before and I did not receive have for the service. the only think I did not like is the breakfast, very limited choices

Excellent location, accommodation and really nice food. Service was amazing. Breakfast pricey so try to get it included in your rate. Parking was available for a fee but very convenient. Dark and moody vibe, but hospitable for all, including our teens.
