This hotel is a fantastic choice for business travelers - centrally located near the CBD and within walking distance to a variety of dining options. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm and attentive service. My room was spotless and beautifully designed, offering a generous amount of space, a super comfy bed, and all the little touches that make a stay feel special, like plush linens and quality in-room coffee.Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly peaceful - perfect for unwinding after a busy day. I loved how easy it was to explore the surrounding area, yet still return to a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality.

We were delighted with our stay! The staff were, to a person, warm, helpful, funny, and still professional. Our room was always clean. Although you are in the heart of Glasgow, you are actually just a few short blocks from anything noisy. Plenty of places to eat within a block or two. The Dakota is truly central: two short blocks from Sauchiehall, a pleasant walk to the downtown to the east and a 15-20 minute walk to the west to Finnieston and the West Side. As a note: the restaurant does have breakfast, but their menu was such that dietary accommodations would have been a challenge.

Rooms are a good size, with multiple coffee and tea options, the hotel staff were friendly and the restaurant and bar area are very well laid out with a good variety of food and drink options. Its a very good location, quick to access the motorways or walk to the city. Id recommend

We stayed in a Signature Suite at Dakota Glasgow, which was a wonderful experience. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with every detail thought of. The service was excellent, from front of house, to The Grill and Jack's Bar - everyone was welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a lovely calm and peaceful atmosphere. It is in a great location for exploring Glasgow. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Had a lovely stay here last night for our anniversary. Place is beautiful, showers amazing! And the beds are so comfortable. The meal was tremendous. We even got the recipe for the pork salad which they gave us which was delightful. Only complain is the coffee machine in the room didnt work which was a gutter and the fridge didnt make the drinks cold. Apart from that it was spot on. The staff were amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I had an amazing experience at the hotel. 💯The staff was friendly, the rooms were extremely clean, and the overall atmosphere was luxurious. ✨☺️My favorite part was the bathroom, which featured a modern design and beautiful gray tiled walls. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would love to book a stay there again in the future!

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had - and as a seasoned business traveler I’ve had a lot. The staff are just excellent ..the rooms …we had a signature suite - was great. Lots of space, big bathroom and at checkin they explained that what ever was from the minibar etc was gratis…yes I know we pay in the room price but it it is so nice to not be nickeled and dimed for once.|Really comfortable big bed - great pillows and thus happy wife…what more do you need from a hotel?|Bar staff at “Jack’s” we skilled and hospitable - thank you Ross. Prices are hotel prices …so, you are warned. 2 large G&T’s 2 coffees..£50|When asked for advice or suggestions the front desk were really helpful..nails and hair and restaurants.|Would I come back here…? Love to

Amazing hotel! The best staff - thankyou so so much for everything, we will never forget your kindness. Rooms are lovely, super comfy beds, pillows and duvets are great. TV has the option for chromecast. The staff honestly MAKE this place, every single one of them. Its like a home away from home. The showers at Dakotas in general are the best. Always so clean as well and my baby was treated like a little prince. Cant wait to stay again, hopefully under better circumstances!

Yelp
I stayed at the Dakota with my wife back in 2022. I recently went to a conference at work and it reminded me about how much I liked staying at the Dakota. I dont remember how we found it online, but I am glad we did. The room had a great feel. I really enjoyed the way it was lit. It was definitely well thought out, in respect to lighting design. I would 100% stay again.

Yelp
Beautiful, stylish, cozy luxury hotel. I only expected to stay at a nice place but what I got was that plus a service level and kindness that transcended my tough travel experience into a wonderfully peaceful one. The desk attendant was psychic. She read my vibe and completely transformed it. She went way above and beyond. Sent up a glass of wine, offered to do laundry same night because British Airways lost my bag. It was amazing. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The food was incredible. I loved it there!!! Please stay at a Dakota hotel!!!!

Yelp
The Dakota Deluxe is only missing one star for me because it lacks a spa (but I am rather picky). Other than that this place is an excellent new addition to Glasgow's hotel scene. I was lucky enough to be shown round all the different styles of rooms. The standard room is very reasonably priced at around £120/night, it is luxurious and very swanky indeed, personally I think it is the best value for money and not too different to the other more expensive rooms. There is one room 'The suite' that comes in at £750/night, its like a little apartment, much bigger in size and it has an adjoining door which can be shut and an area that can be used for business meetings. The colour scheme is very on trend with a mixture of shades of grey. I really liked the interior design, in the downstairs restaurant there is a 'Jack' theme; all the pictures on the walls are different celebrities with the name Jack - some trickier than others to recognize. I think my favorite room was 'The library' were you can see a selection of cigars and can order drinks to your table, its a small room fitting around 50 people, excellent for private parties. The food is top notch, I had scallops, followed by a monkfish curry and then a couple of tasty cocktails. The menu too is reasonably priced considering you feel like you are in Manhatten in some swish restaurant. The Dakota Deluxe will not disappoint!

Yelp
This place will go down as one of my favourite hotel stays ever! The staff are friendly and inviting, the entire place is chill, understated but classy and cozy. The room is small but the space is maximized, the bed was big, raised up and comfy af! It doesn't feel or look like a hotel room, I felt like I was a guest at a very rich friend's house. I actually wish my bedroom was that legit! We spent sometime in the bar/lounge and it was very cool, lots of seats but still intimate. They had the most delicious cocktails, one of my favourites was a Rhubarb Gin drink My husband made it down to the Restaurant for breakfast and said the food was really good so there's that too. All in all, a legit hotel and I'd definitely stay there again.

Yelp
Loved our stay here at the Dakota! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and thorough. We started our Scotland vacation here and we are more than grateful. With a great use of mirrors and lighting, the room feels like a modern designer bedroom rather than your typical hotel stay. The bathroom waterfall shower is an added bonus! I really appreciated the USB outlets located in the room for our cell phones so we didn't have to use our plug converters.

Yelp
Wow - Dakota brings something really fresh and special to the heart of Glasgow with their new Deluxe hotel just off Blythswood Square. We'd stayed at the Eurocentral Hotel a while back and were really impressed, so booked in for an early dinner to visit this one. It's only been open 4 weeks but the only way you'd really know is by how fresh and pristine the furnishings are. The staff are really slick and professional, and you'd never guess they were all pretty much new to the business (some staff have moved over from Eurocentral/Edinburgh). As you might guess from the outside of the building, the interior is dark, masculine and yet cosy. We had a drink in the bar and were really well looked after by the staff who were so professional yet chatty and friendly. The cocktail menu is impressive and I really enjoyed the passionfruit punch which I think was around £8. There's few bars in Glasgow as classy and refined as this one - here, it's not about being "seen", which is trap a lot of other places have fallen into (snooze). It's discreet and comfortable, perfect for being able to enjoy a drink and properly relax. We were in the bar for about half an hour and it was amazingly relaxing. We then headed down for dinner - we were the only people dining as we were eating at 5.30pm. There's leather booths and again, dark timber decor but really nicely done so it's very classy and slick. The menu is very traditional - there's nothing really that "out there" in terms of adventurous food. As we were limited with how much time we had, we just had mains - I had the special fish of the day, sea bass with jersey royals, spinach and hollandaise and Graeme had the chicken kiev. The sea bass was amazing. Probably the best sea bass I've ever eaten - the skin was cooked so perfectly that it was really rich and crispy while the flesh was still soft and succulent. The accompaniments were all lovely but the real side-highlight was the dauphinoise potatoes. Utter cheesy perfection. Our bill for a main each and sides, a cocktail each and a carafe of wine came to £70 which we both agreed was really great value. Next time we'll go back for a more relaxed meal! I need to mention again just how great the staff were - John, the restaurant manager was really friendly and chatty, and made sure we were looked after perfectly. I can't wait to go back and we'll probably stay over next time!

Yelp
A designer's dream hotel, as if Massimo Vignelli and Giorgio Armani decided to take thousands of bolts of dark gray cashmere and build an icon to sleek, cozy, deep rich comfort. I've been here twice, and I love it as much as any hotel I've visited anywhere. The Bar and Grill both get ***** as well. Curl up in luxury.

Yelp
This is such a great establishment! My wife and friends enjoyed a three day holiday here and ate breakfast and dinner here every day of our stay. I can only say that the food service and staff are top notch and we truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.
