Dalat Central Hostel

Great hostel in the middle of the city of Dalat. Super close to food, shopping and sites. All of the staff were super helpful during my stay, helping me book tours and buses. Summer was so helpful and kind to us during our stay. She was happy to talk to us about Vietnamese history and had lots of knowledge. I would totally recommend staying here!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The receptionist Summer is great and there is always a warm friendly vibe.

Nice hotel/hostel is a good central location. We stayed in a private double so I can't comment on the dorm, but our room was clean and spacious. The staff are absolutely lovely, very friendly and full of tips and advice on where to go, also they have very good English. There isn't really a social area so probably not the best place for meeting other travellers if that's what your're after.

The owners are fantastic people. The bathroom was clean, the beds were neat and huge, and they were overall very helpful. I guess the only thing is that the lockers are noisy. But it's possibly the best hostel we've stayed at in a while!

I booked a room with a balcony & bathtub and stayed for 4 nights. Felt so comfortable here I almost cancelled my bookings to/in HCMC. ||(+) Perfect location near the night market & all the stores you can find tour bookings, groceries, cafes and street food. ||(+) Safe even at night for female travellers. ||(+) Lovely & helpful staff -Lee, Tina & Me - who were always warm and keen to offer assistance. ||(+) Clean and cosy. My room was hotel standard for the price i paid & way above expectations. Bonus: I Loved the bathtub!!!||The only thing i wished for was an electric kettle for a hot drink as it got really cold at nights through early mornings. |Hostel could consider letting guests "rent" one.||If i returned to Dalat, i will no doubt stay in this hostel again.

Stayed two nights. Booked through agoda and got a 'basic double' for $15 per night. ||Staff were friendly and helpful- we checked in at 4.30am after arranging an extra fee of $5 for this service. ||Breakfast is basic but tasty- a few miscommunications regarding orders (received fried eggs instead of omelette) etc but everything rectified very quickly. ||Excellent value- fridge, hot water, cable tv, fresh towels every day and very close to the center- everything is within walking distance. ||I've stayed in other hostels, further out of town before and I'd choose to go back to this one every time. ||Just be aware that it's a little noisy in the mornings- from around 6.30am onwards there's lots of doors slamming and the front shutters are open to the road. I sleep with ear plugs in so this doesn't bother me but if you're a light sleeper you might want to consider somewhere else.

I booked my tours from Dalat Central Hostel and I am very happy with the Korean and Vietnamese couple that owned the hostel and booking agency. They offer a slightly lower price for bus tickets as compared to other agencies. They were very friendly and helpful too. Both speaks really good English which makes communication so much easier! :)

I stayed two nights as a solo traveller. I had a large and clean room. The staff are friendly and advised me on many things. My motorbike was parked safely inside. The price was very reasonable and the place is located very centrally. I highly recommend staying here for whatever your purpose is in Dalat.
