Dalbhat Shokudo

It is the most genuine Nepali food I’ve had outside Nepal. Owner was a restaurant owner in Nepal so you can really tell the taste. No naan mentioned and just simple Nepali food.

First time I try nepaleses curry, must say I prefer a curry with more intente flavor. I find it mellow and soft a bit soupy for me. However way easier to digest than other curries, amour is good and service too.

Absolutely loved eating at this tiny little spot with a few friends of mine! We ate with our hands so we could get free rice, and it made the experience all the more worthwhile and fun! I definitely want to come back here at some point. The service was great, the space felt very authentic, and the experience itself was fun!

Run by a Nepalese couple, serves traditional Nepalese cuisine. Has a casual atmosphere and offers authentic food at inexpensive prices. Spices and oil are used sparingly, dishes are healthy and flavorful.

Food was typical Nepali food, we really enjoyed Thali. Highly recommend it!

I've eaten many delicious Nepalese thalis in Jackson Heights, New York; I missed Nepalese food when I moved away. When we stumbled upon this restaurant, the smell of the dal drew us in, and the friendly owner welcomed us. The meal was delicious, priced extremely fairly, and fast. This has been the best Nepalese food I've had since leaving New York, much better than any restaurant I can find in my current home of San Francisco.

We found this restaurant quite by accident on a very rainy day on our way back from Osaka Castle. The restaurant we had taken a cab to come to was fully reserved. So we wandered and ran into this one. Had such a delicious and wholesome vegetarian spread and ended with hot chai. Delightful!
