The meat dishes are absolutely top-notch! The quality of the meat is excellent, and it's cooked to perfection—tender and juicy all the way through. The various sauces and side dishes that accompany the meat really enhance its flavor, making it an all-around satisfying meal. The noodles are also fantastic! The noodles have a perfect chewy texture, and the broth is rich yet clean, providing a perfect balance of flavors. For those who like a little spice, the dishes are just the right amount of spicy, offering something for every taste. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the meal. Great K-BBQ experience in Waterloo. We ordered 4 different kinds of meats (2 pork & 2 beef). The portions of the meats seem a bit small and I believe it is high quality meats! The side dish and cold noodles were enough to fill us up. The vibes inside the restaurant were fun and the server we had, Hayden was so welcoming and kind! We would love to come back soon 👍💗

The quality of the meat, side dishes, and experience was great. The beef was very tender and paired well with the side dishes. We got several refills of the egg, cheese corn, and pumpkin salad (our favourite side dish). The atmosphere and interior also added to the experience. Our server was very friendly, quick to help us, and offered recommendations on cuts of meat. The meal was filling with all the side dishes, would recommend!

The Melona soju and Screwbar soju were both amazing, I’d definitely get them again! The kimchi fried rice with cheese was delicious, and both the beef ribeye roll and tenderloin were excellent. The service was top-notch, with the servers checking in on us regularly and offering top-ups of corn cheese and other side dishes. The restaurant was clean, and we were seated right away. The overall vibe was casual and relaxed, making it a great spot for a laid-back meal with friends and family!!

The food here is absolutely delicious. On our first visit, we tried the pork and beef rib eye, and both were incredibly flavorful and we loved the experience of grilling it. The Melona Soju cocktail was a fun and refreshing surprise, especially with the Melona ice cream, which added a creamy, sweet twist that we loved. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for a second visit. This time, we ordered the marinated pork shoulder butt, pork jowl meat, and thinly sliced pork belly. The marinated pork shoulder butt was the standout; tender, flavorful, and something I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting. One of my favorite parts of the experience is the variety of side dishes, which are fresh, tasty, and generously refilled throughout the meal. Overall, this place consistently delivers great food and a satisfying dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

Best Korean BBQ in Waterloo! They give free soup! Unlimited side dish refills and the corn cheese is so good! And the egg is delicious. I always get the Chuck Steak, the service is so quick and they notice lettuce running out before I do! The atmosphere and decor is super nice and warm.

I love the atmosphere and vibe! It was hard to order and get a check otherwise everything else was good! I love the food! Though, soybean stew was very salty. All meats come with side dishes that can be refilled! They give about 7 side dishes!! So you would definitely get full by eating the side dishes along with meat. Grill your own meat! Each meat order comes with two fillets enough for one person!

It was our first time trying this place, and my kids an I were so exited. Everything was wonderfully, we were super mindfully about the place being up to full capacity! Food was amazing, attention was great, a bit of trouble with the parking, but there is no complains, for sure we are comminf back! The banchan (side dishes) are generous and delicious, with classic options like kimchi, pickled radishes, and savory potato salad. I especially loved their focus on traditional flavors, and the smoky char from the grill brings out the best in each dish. Plus, they have a great selection of Korean drinks, like soju, to complement the meal. Daldongnae is a must-visit if you're in Waterloo and craving authentic Korean BBQ--it's a fantastic spot to gather, grill, and savor amazing flavors!

Great food at a great price. We went there with a group of 6 people to celebrate a couple of birthdays. A really fun way to dine as well

Fun Korean bbq experience! The meat is nice and fresh and the sauces add great flavour. You get a great variety of side dishes and they will refill them for you as you dine. My personal favourite side is the cheese corn. The service is very quick as well. It's a very fun place to eat with friends!

Great spot. The food is awesome and the meet is high quality. All the sides are great too, staff is nice but the wait times however could be a little better generally around 10-25 min on a regular night. Overall, the food and vibe are closer to 5/5.

Visited Daldongnae in Waterloo and the food was pretty good. One of the better kbbq spots in Waterloo. Flavours tasted pretty similar to their other locations. The service was just okay while the restaurant was pretty clean and neat.
