A Joy for the Senses—and the Soul. I visit Daleside regularly, sometimes to buy, sometimes simply to get lost among the plants and find a bit of respite from a demanding day. It never fails to lift the spirits. The quality of the plants is consistently impeccable, the variety inspiring, and the layout—especially the beautifully styled "Dixter" aisle, is a horticultural treat. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely go the extra mile. It’s disheartening to see recent unkind comments made by someone perhaps unfamiliar with how cherished this place is. While I may be a woman of a certain age (not quite an octogenarian, thanks!), I know quality when I see it—and Daleside delivers, every time. A gem of a garden centre.

Great umteenth visit to Daleside today to buy pots and plants. Aided and advised by the knowledgeable and friendly Jo we were very happy with our purchases and the way we were looked after. Highly recommended!

With a healthy budget for redesigning a cottage garden I headed to this nursery, I had a budget of approx £1k to spend on plants. I saw staff chatting to people and being friendly but when I asked for help, I was "looked up and down" and snubbed!!! I guess being a designer I don't look like their normal "octagenerian" customer!! I spent just over £100 on a few plants and left, I won't be giving this place the rest of mine, or my client list custom again

Very happy with our new Japanese Cherry trees, delivered to our house by a friendly and helpful gentleman. The gentleman who helped us make our selection was also very helpful and knowledgable, thank you all.

I stopped here for coffee and made an inspired choice, all the dishes were delicious.

Friendly and welcoming staff always willing to help and advise. Excellent selection of plants and shrubs.

We didn't go to the nursery only to the Paradise Foods restaurant which is on the same site. The restaurant was exceptionally good with a small but varied selection. The staff were extremely well trained. The room was well set out with huge plants providing greenery and sound control. Lots of parking, wheelchair access. Already booked for next time.
