The best place to eat stuffed bread. There are so many types of bread they can make for you. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and they prepare it right in front of you. They heat it up, which is why the bread is so soft and the cheese melts. The place is cozy, and the workers are very friendly.

I’m quite sure there’s a color coded system, I just have completely figured it out yet. To make the process a bit easier it would be nice to indicate somewhere. The sandwiches are nice, warmed up and definitely plenty of choice! I’ll come back to try more.

Don’t go there if you’re in a hurry or you just generally dislike waiting for your food. It took me 1.5 hour to order and receive the sandwich. The food is good and the atmosphere is also nice

One of the most authentic foodie experiences in Padua. Excellent sandwiches, unbeatable variety of options, unique atmosphere that takes you down to the '60s or '70s and you really feel like a local. It's lovely to see the ladies preparing the sandwich with so much care and love, as if the customer were part of their families. The ingredients are of high quality, the flavor is great and the prices are worth it. Now, the cons. First, vegetarians/vegans will need considerable time to find their sandwiches since the veggie/vegan options are not clearly marked (remember, you're in the '60s-'70s in there). Second, the great atmosphere shouldn't include (small) cobwebs on some walls and dust over edges (however, the cooking facilities look spick and span, so no concerns on that front). It was hard to notch down one star, but given that both points could be easily improved, I did it as encouragement.

Very simple but great tastes! Crazy that the owners know all the different sandwich by head!

Come for the experience if you want, and for an affordable lunch. Probably better option for meat eaters. My friend had the toscana which she loved, I had one of the vegan options and it was very bland and dry. Needed some salt, or some spread to improve the eating experience. Also, there wss a long wait for just 2 sandwiches and even though they're only 5euro, I think I could have gotten a better option else where.

I definitely marked this place even before coming to Italy. It's been two years since I arrived and not even once I tried it, so I made up my mind to visit it and give it a try, finally. But this place isn't really for me, I guess. After trying a lot of different places, I find it not really on par with its reputation. I've tried better places (yes, not only one) with a better queue system, better service, and most importantly: better value for money! I came here around 13:00, and it wasn't the best time to come here. Too many people and the queue is just so messy. Not to mention, there was this bunch of new students who took a very long time to decide what they wanted to eat. Then, I had to wait a bit as well because apparently people who ordered before me didn't hear it when the staff was calling their name. If only they had a better way to arrange their customers during the peak time, maybe I'll give it a better rating. Taste wise, their porchetta is good, super good! I really recommend you to get something with porchetta if you come here, but then... if you're hungry and in a hurry, maybe you don't really want to go here. Usually the panino will cost you around 4.5 for the simplest one to 6€-ish for the more complicated one. Then if you ask for a maxi size (the bigger one), expect to pay 2-2.5€ more. Another tip: if you can't find a panini that suits your taste, just order any topping that you want and they'll give it to you. I personally just customize everything.

Truly incredible experience and best panini I've ever had. Its worth to wait in tiny place for your sandwich - only problem is to choose your favourite one - every single are probably as good as we had ours ( with porchetta, lardo etc ...) Definitely a big must stop in beautiful Padova ! Grazie Dalla Zita !
