Dallas BBQ East Village

Where do I start I use to visit this place when I was alot younger with my family and we moved so we haven't eaten here in almost 10yrs. Let me say this place has only gotten better, the food portion is bigger and those drinks seem bigger and more tasty than before. I had a great time and it bought back alot of memories. And get ready to take some food home because you might not finish it all LOL. Amazing experience and a definite re-visit when I am in New York again.

Very good food not expensive at all! The decor was simple but interesting. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and attentive. The downstairs to the restroom reminded me of Alice in Wonderland for some reason!

My girlfriend and I came today 7/20 one of the hostess took us to the back which we were surprise because we thought it was smaller. So one of the black uniform came us water and told us the waiter would be right with us. 5 mins later this Asian man came to us he was so weird no customer services, no greeting, no smile. He just said “if we’re okay and ready” then look away. Then I said yes we’re ready order. The way he was acting he didn’t seem to care or know what he was doing. He was just fixing his ties. Then after he took our order he didn’t take it to the kitchen. He was just walking around. A lot of the employee on this location were just standing around. No one didn’t seem to care about their customer.

3.5, will return: good food and people with friendly price. After the concert in Brooklyn, we looked for a restaurant that opens late and allows our own bottle. The interior of this East Village branch is down to earth and very casual. Their ribs are tenderly cooked (off the bone) and are tasty, although some are on the sweet side. The portions are big - there were eight of us, with two college boys. Yet, we could only finished half the meat we ordered, and multiple doggie bags to take home with. - Crabcakes: very good - Guacamole: pretty good - Garden salad: good - Double sticky ribs: sweet (maybe Henny is less sweet?) - Double rack ribs: sweet - Two beef ribs: my favorite There is a photographer milling around who offered to take pictures for us ... then offered one complimentary and the rest sells at $15 each when buying at least two. We did buy, out of ... who needs prints nowadays? When bill came, the friend who insisted of paying, asked me how much tips he should leave - new in US. I looked and said, just double the tax. "Make sure they haven't ..." Another friend reminded me. "No they didn't." I said. ... And of course they did and Irene just doesn't see it or can't read... They allowed us to have the Buffalo Trace (no corkage fee). I never liked bourbon's taste, earthy or like dirt ... but this one is pretty good, especially on the rocks. Three of them finished the bottle. We closed their shop. Good times had by all. Thank you!

BBQ's is one of my favorite places to dine at since high-school. The wait staff per usual provide great customer service even though its always swamped. The wings are and have always been DYNAMITE! The Texas size cocktails are delicious and leave you feeling extra nice.

Food was good. Chicken fingers in the sticky sauce were delicious. Highly recommend. (Forgot to get a picture of them before we devoured them) Tried their Mac n cheese which wasn’t bad either but the frozen pina colada was great. Also opted for an extra shot of alcohol.

If you want bang for your money with some bomb food then come here! We got the mango and raspberry margaritas which were oh so good!! We then had the chicken/ribs combo, Hennessy wings (they were hugeeee) and a side of Mac and cheese which was tasty!! I would come back here again, very quick service and well seasoned food. A cool causal spot to get something quick to eat.

They have huge portions, the food tastes amazing!! They have beef ribs!!! the loaded potato was great, I couldn't finish my food. The fries, shrimp, chicken and waffles, were great. I have no complaints, everything tasted great. Our server was great, really attentive and went the extra mile for us. The cake they give you at the end is soooo tasty, i had to have more. I really wanted to buy more after the second one. I wish i could go back.
