"Opened in 1989, this pioneer of the Dallas Arts District was envisioned by renowned architect I.M. Pei to be a temple to both design and sound. A striking exterior of overlapping geometric forms leads to interiors that play upon the changing perspectives of light and movement. In the concert hall are more geometric shapes and forms, but these were meticulously placed with acoustics and unobstructed sight lines in mind; the result is what has been called one of the top performance spaces in the world, seating 2,062 concertgoers over four floors. The center is the home of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Dallas Symphony Chorus, and also hosts an array of local and visiting performers, including noted youth orchestras and children’s choirs. Before or after a show, take time to check out the pieces from the center’s art collection that are displayed throughout the halls, including Ellsworth Kelly’s Blue Green Black Red: The Dallas Panels and a portrait of George Gershwin by Andy Warhol."

Amazing place. We have attended the classic Beethoven and it was just so beautiful. The chairs are clean and neat, ample parking space and the acoustics of the auditorium is so perfect. We got a chance to listen to Alexander Kerr playing the violin and it became a memorable experience.

It’s beautiful here! We came here to listen to The Music of Star Wars. Enrico Lopez-Yañez was engaging, funny, and talented. Of course the orchestra was also phenomenal! It was worth the ticket! Also the gift shop was fairly priced! It was a nice surprise.

Beautiful place for concert venue. Super clean and friendly staff. The decor and acoustics allow to experience each musical event. You must go to the Christmas pop concerts, GCDS and more.

As a music PhD(music professor) I am convinced they are World class musicians in Dallas symphony orchestra. Their Brahms concerto is the best I heard so far! I also heard the eminent pianist Lang Lang playing with them years ago the Tchaikovsky first concerto. It was one of the most remarkable music I had heard ever.

Parking was very easy right across the street! Staff was very courteous, and helpful. Made the whole experience wonderful. The singers and band were amazing will definitely return. As far as food goes be prepared to spend 20$ minimum but there were plenty of outside options. Please come support the opera you will.m not regret it.

My first time in the place, I thought it was a very nice place, amazingly clean, impressive, full of history and culture, it's nice to know that we still have a lot of people with excellent taste in music and art.. You can taste the art in every note of music ; When you close your eyes to be able to hear each note better and smell the wood of the place, you feel a comfortable calm and peace that comes from listening to the orchestra, it is a wonderful feeling.

One of the best Venue for Musical Orchestra, Plays, concerts in Dallas !! We loved the overall experience here. Sound system is awesome, seating is very comfortable, it’s a 4 level venue. Paid Parking is available next door in public parking. Can’t comment about food as we didn’t have any for our concert. There is ample space in the front reception area for people to get together as well. The only improvement I would suggest is better restrooms at Ground level as I noticed long queues there
