Terrible service and outright fraud! We chose this restaurant because they promised to accept our vouchers, but when it came time to pay, they suddenly claimed they ‘don’t accept them.’ This was a complete lie, as we confirmed this in advance! The staff was rude and completely uninterested in resolving the issue. Instead of apologizing, they simply ignored us and left us to deal with the situation on our own. The manager acted like it wasn’t his problem and blamed us instead. It feels like we were deliberately scammed, lured in by false promises. We came here as a family to have a good time, and instead, we were made to look like fools and forced to pay out of pocket, even though this situation was entirely their fault. We will never come back here and strongly advise others to stay away! If you value your money and peace of mind, avoid this place at all costs!

The Bavarian Breakfast set included two pieces of white sausages, a large pretzel, mustard and butter. The sausages were served warm in a porcelain bowl with hot water. They tasted mild and nice. The pretzel is large but typical cold and hard. Nice large restaurant but very crowded. There is some waiting time to be seated, a wait for the food and also waiting time for the bill. There is also a takeaway counter with cakes and sandwiches if you prefer something quicker.

Seafood soup was absolutely delicious. Rich without being overpowering. Kudos to the chef(s). Portion was generous (enough to be a meal on its own, at least for me) and very reasonably priced.

I come to this restaurant every month, and here’s a tip: order your steak extra rare, and you’ll get the best medium-rare steak in the airport! Also, Alex the waiter is really helpful and always makes the experience even better.

It is an airport restaurant. So I expected 6-7€ for my beer. What i didn’t expect is soo much personal and so few service. They basically avoid eye contact and did let us sit and wait for about 10 minutes with 2 children. 3 beer, 1 pair weisswürste with pretzel and mustard, 1 latte macchiatto, 2 small waters and one piece of cake ~ 58,70 ✌🏻 Btw I’m sitting here with an empty glass for 25 minutes without anyone batting an eye 😂

I recently dined at Dallmayr terminal 2, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I ordered the 300-gram ribeye, and it was nothing short of perfection. The portion size was generous, to say the least, yet every bite was packed with flavor, making it worth every calorie. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a perfect sear on the outside with very little fat. The sides were equally impressive, complementing the rich taste of the ribeye beautifully. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, largely thanks to the attentive and friendly service. My waitress made me feel incredibly welcome, attending to my needs with a smile and genuine kindness. It was clear that she, along with the rest of the team, truly enjoy what they do. Their passion for their work translated into an overall excellent dining experience. If you're looking for a place that serves top-notch food with a team that makes you feel at home, Dallmayr is the place to be. I'll definitely be returning for another round of that incredible ribeye!

Where are you going? Let's hope that wherever that is, this is the worst meal for the duration of your excursion. It's not terrible..for Germany. Limp leaves from a crypt, hummus that is basically tahini, and yet somehow flavourless...the burghul was quite ok. The felafel bwly a country that is full of turks and lebanese that know better..all for €21..But, for pretty much anywhere that you can fly from here, Middle East, Europe (including all the countries, yes, even Poland), this is, well, German standard world food. It really was ok. But if I prepared this for myself at home, I'd be as disappointed as a teenager who landed on a website for home gardening, expecting to see what teenagers want to see. Still, the second beer I just ordered is likely to have me in Varigotti, my destination (the birth place of pesto) asap.

Ribeye steak and rosemary potatoes were phenomenal. Fresh, hot and delicious. At times you have to try to get the staffs attention due to the amount of customers but they are kind.

Yelp
Worst experience in any restaurant ever. If you are gluten free or have other food allergens, go somewhere else. They refuse to answer anything regarding food allergies and instead refer you to a link with a pdf file that lists the entire meal as having gluten and there are menu items not even listed on this pdf file. I paid for food I couldn't eat. I understand not wanting responsibility but it's a poor excuse for customer service.

Yelp
I really love Munich but this place left me with mixed feelings. I had worst experience at this cafe. The customer service was horrible. I attempted to purchase some coffee and use my voucher from Lufthansa and there was an issue. I asked them to void my transaction and he said no! It will be broken. I didn't want to hold up the line so I paid with my credit card and told him I would return and he said ok. When I returned after I got the voucher fixed and he proceeded to argue with me and did not want to give me a refund. Another worker got a person who was supposedly a supervisor who was just as bad if not worse than the cashier. As the cashier continued to yell at me the supervisor did nothing to stop him. I ended up leaving. Extremely rude and inappropriate behavior from people who are in the service industry. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Yelp
What you want on a German meal. We choose the service section as we had a bit of a layover and tired. Only one waitress but she was kind and the folks next to us were encouraging. I had the "small" plate of 6-pork sausages with sauerkraut. Wow! With a German lager and muster I was very happy. We also had a schnitzel with potato salad which was also delightful... and with a beer. Great place for good food and a rest.

Yelp
"My collie theory of airports," wrote Jon Carroll, "is that it's important to leave extra time." I agree. And that's how I found myself an early morning in the airside zone of Terminal 2 with ample time to spare. A good opportunity, I thought, for the last white sausage of the trip and Dallmayr has it all: a nice table in a quiet section of the restaurant, discrete but attentive service and, above all, the Bavarian breakfast: two weisswurst, a bretzel and a white beer.

Yelp
This is an order on the counter type of place. I had a mozzarella ciabatta and the bread was hard and dry. It came cold (as in fridge cold) and not enough dressing. Really dry. No real dessert options. Service was hushed. When I asked to warm my sandwich the lady said they did not have a toaster. My Coke was not cold but it seems to be the norm in Munich. No place I went to served the sodas with ice.

Yelp
We had a great lunch here. There is self service and table. We did table service and had prompt service. Food was very good. Smoked salmon. Salmon entree, sausages and sauerkraut were great. Perch pike fish was just ok. Recommended.

Yelp
A long layover in the terminal two of Luftansa and craving excellent food? Dallmayr Bistro is the answer. Dallmayr Bistro was organized in two sections: - the self service section - the dine-in section. The entire business was an open space concept. You can people watch while savoring your food. The dine-in section menu had a larger selection of sophisticated dishes. The dish with prawns was truly tasty. The service was efficient and friendly. The point of improvement is the high prices. It was aligned with airport prices for high-quality food.

Ronald P.

Yelp
Worst service. Every table is dirty and no is cleaning. The staff is not providing any service. Go somewhere else to have a good start

Veronica P.

Yelp
The price is unclear. The line is long and they make people behind me to pay first without an explanation. Staff are not friendly.

Jonas B.

Yelp
Good food (weisswurst all day!) at prices that are high but not too abnormal for an airport restaurant. There is a section that gets table service and another with self-service. The restaurant recently got an overhaul and looks a bit snazzier. A good place when you have an hour to spare in Terminal 2 (for example using your free half hour of Internet).

Sam S.

Yelp
As far as airport cafes go this one is good. Great selection for breakfast and perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs and Bircher muesli. The coffee was ordinary and like every other airport cafe...expensive :-(

Jessica D.

Yelp
The food quality is good, but as the it is a self-serve location, the atmosphere is a bit hectic. I had the apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce, and it was so delicious!

Kevin K.

Yelp
This was the Dallmayr at the airport in Munich, but you wouldnt guess because it almost feels like that carry just about everything the huge store does. Great for last minute gifts and the prices are pretty much the same as the normal store. I managed to grab some last minute chocolates for the family. Great stuff. Love this store.

Geert B.

Yelp
This place is more than OK, when compared to many other airport restaurants: the quality is good (I had smoked salmon tartar at 11,90 EUR), service relatively quick and the prices acceptable. By the way: if you suddenly remember that you forgot to buy something for your grandma or want to bring your colleagues abraod something form Munich: there is a Dallmayer shop across from this restaurant that I often use to buy Bavarian chocolates for colleagues I'm visiting.

Yelp
Worst and most expensive Cappuccino I ever had. It's called Cappu Tasse and costs EUR 4,90
