Dalmatino

The food was delicious! We had the tuna, the Mediterranean gnocchi and the white fish. The service was excellent. We interacted with many different servers and they were all personable, kind and funny. The restaurant itself is very cute on a little side street. We had a great time !

This has to be one of our best meals in Croatia. The service is so great, they make you feel so welcome and the food was absolutely outstanding. Definitely coming here again while we’re in Hvar! We had the Istria Truffle Gnocchi and Octopus Carpaccio with the chocolate cake for dessert. Dalmatian food is 🤩🤩 and it was perfectly executed at Dalmatino. Highly highly recommend! Don’t skip this if you’re in Hvar!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Both my husband and I agreed it was the most enjoyable dining experience of our lives. The service was incredible - the waiters all go out of their way to check in on you & honestly make you feel so special. They bring you extra courses and drinks just for being there. The food was absolutely amazing - truffle gnocchi was the best gnocchi dish we’ve had & whitefish was delicious. Erik and the rest of the staff were incredible - plus the great ambiance, food & the experience, can’t recommend enough!

The place was recommended by our Airbnb host and it did not disappoint! We went on a Saturday night without a reservation. Everything was perfect starting from the service to the food itself. The waiters were very kind, we even received complimentary dishes and local drinks and they explained how and from what was it made of. We had the beef tartar for the starter, the chateaubriand as a main and a chocolate cake to end the experience. We will definitely come back when visiting Hvar again!

Excellent!! Really cute interior and exterior, food was creative and flavorful. We got the Carpaccio Eros (zucchini) and I got the Filet Rossini, which came topped with seared foie gras and shaved truffle 🤤 Very good wines and friendly service. We also had these polenta sticks that were so good we asked for more - definitely recommend!

So good that we had to come back twice during our time in the old town. The service here was exceptional and the restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine. The tuna tartare, gnocchi and desserts were phenomenal. The steak was a bit undercooked and under seasoned to my liking. The meal would’ve been better with mashed potatoes instead of french fries in my opinion, but they seem to serve french fries with everything here in Croatia. I recommend getting the steak cooked one level higher than what you normally get if you live in North America (they tend to undercook steaks in Europe compared to Canada).

Best restaurant in Hvar! I’m very picky about where I eat and this checked all the boxes. Staff was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Food came very quick, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the octopus carpaccio, one of the best starters i have ever had. Will be recommending and coming back!

Good simple food and service but I’d expect better the prices. It’s more elevated home cooking. The tuna was good but cooked in too much oil in and the salad it came with was underwhelming. The highlight was the icecream next to the granma cake. The cake itself was simply okay. The service was fast and friendly. They bring some liquors in between on the house which is interesting. Overall good experience but not sure if the food is worth coming back for.
