Dalton Gin Bar

We went here on a Thursday evening at sunset. There were incredible views of the church and street below. Drinks were tasty, but my only complaint is for a bar that only has drinks and no food, there should be many more types of special cocktails on the menu. Service was attentive and very good and everyone was so friendly. There were only a few other tables occupied, so I could not say how it would be on a crowded night. The music is not too loud as it seems like it would be from down on the street when you pass by. Some smooth jazz would be more appropriate for sunset, though.

Beautiful location downtown San Jose del Cabo with a great view at night from the Church! Loved the music style and that we were still able to talk! Their cocktails were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! Will return for sur!

Visited this bar on Friday with a couple of co workers our manager knew the waiter rummy an Argentinian girl she was great… drinks were okay and not as pricey as I thought. Service was fast and I would definitely go again!

Awesome unique place, one of a kind for San Jose and brings the party to an otherwise low key city. Drinks are 10 of 10!!!

Nice ambiance and view, cocktail was very good, it would be great they offer bar bites, because of the lack of these, we had to leave fast to eat at the downstairs restaurant

I have been wanting to go upstairs for years. Finally made it up and the ambiance was phenomenal. The view was amazing. This bar has the look to be a great place to hang out and bring all your friends. The disappointment is that a bar should have good drinks. We had basic margaritas. They were watered down, tasted like salt, terrible mix and highly overpriced. There were 10 bartenders, 2 waiters and 2 hostesses. With that many workers and it being dead, why did it still take 10 minutes to get my horrible drinks. If this place had a good manager getting things in order and having a decent drink for a good price I would go back but I tried it and learned to never recommend it and never go back. Just because a place is upscale doesn't mean it has to have terrible drinks and service.

Great spot in San Jose. Saw an amazing DJ, Tom Breu. Only issue is he should have promoted more. He was excellent. Did not eat, so could not rate the food.

Great air conditioning. Great drinks. Great atmosphere!!! Come here after dinner downstairs and get ready for some fun.

Such a great venue for a large groups! Clean and friendly service. Bathrooms are clean, drinks are average 5/10. We came here with a wedding party and it was a perfect indoor outdoor type of setting. The bathrooms were so clean which is a huge plus. Service was also great. The guys there really made an effort to speak in English when they didnt have to at all and that was sweet. I didn't realize you had to pay for water so when I gave them pesos the guy didn't come back to give me change which wasn't the biggest of all deals but that was a little alcohol beverages were decent for the price compared to if you were getting a drink in California. Watered down for sure but nonetheless a drink and a good time. We didn't know they had food also so we didn't get to try it. It's definitely a loud environment also. I would come here if you're looking to have a good time!

Great bar! Had my daughter's wedding rehearsal gathering here! Great time and ambience. Staff were wonderful. Bar was neat and clean. Highly recommend. Great views

Dalton was close to my hotel which made it the perfect place to enjoy a thoughtfully crafted cocktail served by excellent waitstaff while listening to good music. My friend and I were on a girls trip enjoying lots of good drinks but we were so impressed by this place that we came twice, would have been three times but the last night we tried they were closed. Alvaro and Adrian gave us excellent attentive service and everyone else was great too even after I broke a glass our first time there. I felt really bad but they were so nice and helpful. The ambiance was good for date night or unwinding after a long day at the beach. We loved the table facing the bar because we got to see how the drinks were mixed. The second night we went we sat by the balcony near the beautiful whale display which we also really liked because you could still see the bar but also the DJ and over the balcony. The DJ was so good it was too bad there was not more people there for dancing Aside from their specialty cocktails they also have a full bar with great mezcal options which we also had plenty of. I am still thinking about their drinks and cannot wait to visit again. They just need some light appetizers on the menu and then it is my dream bar.

I hosted my wedding welcome party here for about 85 guests- HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I worked with Juan, their events manager, via email for several months leading up to the party (finally meeting in person the day before), and he was fantastic!!! They were so organized, accommodated all our requests, and the party was honestly perfect. He cared so much about making sure it was just as I envisioned, and also introduced me to some of their sister restaurants which are definitely worth visiting. We will always come back here to remind ourselves of that super fun time!

This is a rooftop lounge that is tucked away and almost hard to find because of the lack of signs but it was a very cool place to be during sunset. We went there one night and they made amazing drinks, my favorite one was off the menu which was an espresso martini - it was made to perfection! The DJ was playing some 70/80s alternatives. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it.

Great bar. The service was great. There was no food when I went but all the drinks were well balanced. Pricey, but for tourists, I guess that is normal? Beer at oxxo, 20. Beer at Dalton, 80. It is a Gin bar, so we all came for the mixologist. None of the drinks would make me want to come back to this location. I am not saying the drinks are bad, but nothing special. Maybe their closing time is a selling factor? If they expand their draft beers with appetizers, it might be a great hang out spot.

Nice place for some good music and cocktails. Rooftop vibe was pretty sweet at night. Wish we had discovered this sooner during our trip as there are not many places to go out at night near the resorts. Recommend checking this place out.

Super fun rooftop Bar! Amazing gin infused drinks. The service was over the top friendly, hats off to our server Andres,super knowledgeable about the drinks, super attentive . Covid has hit it pretty hard, when in down San Jose del Cabo stop in and have a couple drinks. OH, their tacos off the hook! We WILL be back!!!

We found this place while exploring Cabo. What a great find. The bar is an upstairs rooftop bar with a great view overlooking the city. The sunset was beautiful. The decor was well put together, and the drinks were incredible. The live ingredients were fresh and aromatic, and the cocktails were expertly crafted for taste and appearance. The waitstaff was very friendly and spoke enough English for there not to be a language barrier. Took in some good music and great scenery and had an awesome time. We will go back on the next visit!

Excellent new, modern gin bar in the wonderful arts district! I think we were the only people at the bar on a Monday night, but this place is sure to pick up and be popular with the hipster crowd. The staff were very nice, our drinks were very well done and quite flavorful and refreshing. Live DJ. Mountain and city view. Our first time to Los Cabos, really enjoyed San Jose Downtown over the touristy Cabo San Lucas.

Super drinks. Service was attentive, friendly and roof tops has Great views of the city.

Drinks here were great and the ambiance was awesome. Go before 11 if you want to get a table otherwise it can get packed.
