Spent an absolutely fantastic 3 days here recently. Wonderful position to walk into the town and also explore the nearby hills. You can actually see the famous 'pinnacle' from the site. Cabins were spacious, comfortable and well appointed. If you like wildlife you're also in for a treat as we had frequent visits from cockatoos, kookaburras and (of course) kangaroos, amongst others. My only gripe is that the WiFi was very slow and some devices would not connect at all, but I can forgive this as 4g was good. I can highly recommend these self catering units.👍

Had a fabulous one week’s stay here. Accomodation was clean and comfortable and very close to town and some day walks. But the highlight was definitely the natural surrounds. The cabins are frequented by lots of native wildlife which often feels like being on an Australian safari. Some of the Sulfur crested cookatoos are particularly cheeky and will sit at your door while you go about your business indoors. Would definitely stay again.

What an amazing place for the wildlife spotting. Right outside our door we had Kangaroos including a mother with Joey in its pouch, lots of Sulphur crested Cockatoo, Ducks and Kookaburra. The cabin was well equipped so we cooked our dinner we did have to put the heating on as this is the first time we have been cold in Oz. It was 13 degrees.

This place was amazing 🤩 only stayed two nights on our way through to S.A but will come back. Clean simple rooms. Massive TV was unexpected ! Spa bath was superb and only 700m from town so perfect distance. Also close to Boronia Peak walking trail.

A perfect stay in the heart of the Grampians. Premium cabins and ours with a double spa bath was just bliss 😍. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm, surrounded by abundant wildlife. This is the best place to stay in Hallsgap 💚 This is not a luxury hotel, so of course guests should tidy up before they leave, I don't understand entitled people leaving comments about the dishes, yes do them, it's called good manners 😂. You're in the middle of a national park, enjoy and be grateful 🙏☺️.

Mistakenly booked two days with this property on an incorrect date on a non-refundable basis. Having realised the error I contacted the property to request moving the booking to an alternative date or whether consideration would be given for provision of some form of credit for a new booking. The change date request was declined and the credit request was ignored. The property has received two days payment and are providing no service. This approach to an inadvertent error is disappointing and mean spirited. Recommend reading the review by Hans Taylor for further insight into this property's approach to customer service

Lets start with the positive. The rooms are very nicely presented, and well located around a garden area that attracts all the local wildlife. Comfortable and spacious with all the usual amenities. Now onto service. We booked and paid for one night, but when we arrived we told the receptionist we would most likely stay two nights, and would confirm in the morning, because it looked so nice. The next morning there was no one at reception, on two occasions. We tried to phone the number given, but no reply. We left all our belongings in the room, locked the door and went out for the day. Imagine our horror when we returned to find that the room had been stripped, and our personal belongings moved. They had our name and phone number, so why were we not contacted. We are absolutely fuming that the blithering idiot owner let out our room, removed our personal property, and made us find alternative accommodation. Fortunately for him, we could only speak to him on a phone. We have never had such rude, inconsiderate service in any country we have visited.

We have previously stayed at this place. Used to be extraordinary, friendly owners, great service, clean and manicured gardens. Unfortunately that's all but gone. Will not return
