Visiting Chợ Đầm Nha Trang feels like stepping into a piece of the city’s heritage. It carries a distinct sense of traditional charm, where the pace of life seems to slow down and the atmosphere brings you back to the Nha Trang of earlier years. The surrounding old-style apartment buildings with their classic architecture add even more character to the area. They create a nostalgic backdrop that reflects the city’s history and gives Chợ Đầm a unique identity you won’t find anywhere else. Inside the market, you’ll find a full range of stalls and goods—from local specialties and fresh produce to clothes, souvenirs, and everyday essentials. It’s lively, colorful, and always bustling with energy, yet still feels familiar and comforting. Whether you visit in the morning or wander through in the evening, Chợ Đầm has a way of evoking memories and emotions. There’s a gentle sense of nostalgia in the air, making it an unforgettable spot for both locals and travelers alike. If you want to experience the soulful, traditional side of Nha Trang, Chợ Đầm is a must-visit landmark filled with history, culture, and timeless charm.

The 1 and only place you would like to come if you want to shop. First and foremost, if you want to get fruits, come here, you want to buy coffee or dried mangoes, come here. You want to buy grade a & b fake branded attire and bags, come here too. Then prices are really cheap. And mostly they do wholesale to other restaurants or shops. I was recommended by my half day tour agency to come here for fruits. So I did came out of curiosity and ended up buying coconut flavoured coffee ☕️ beans & cashew nuts! My friend bought dried mangoes too. Then price if you missed buying them here, elsewhere would be much more expensive. The dried mangoes we bought here vs selling inside the airport was doubled or more. So crazy!! And in dam market, you could taste test and negotiate a little if you buy a lot. We saw a lot of Koreans came with luggage bags and start buying clothes, jackets, handbags, etc. I had 1 photo as a proof 🙃. we were aiming only at food 🤣😂

Dam Market is one of Nha Trang’s best-known local markets, but it is very much past its prime. The building and many of the surrounding stalls feel quite run down, with a somewhat chaotic layout and a generally worn atmosphere. Inside, you’ll find the usual mix of dried seafood, souvenirs, clothing, and everyday goods, but presentation and cleanliness are inconsistent. It still offers a glimpse into local daily commerce and has a certain raw, authentic feel, yet it’s not particularly pleasant or comfortable to browse for long. Worth a short stop out of curiosity or for photos, but expectations should be kept modest.

Nice to visit but it is very busy. I'm not interested in shopping for knock off goods. It was very busy with Russian and Korean tourists, I left soon but it was still nice to see the market and appreciate the architecture. Old school market, almost reminiscent of the old school Soviet buildings seen in movies.

Dam Market is a must-visit in Nha Trang, even if it’s just to see the architecture. The circular, lotus-shaped design is really unique and makes for a great backdrop. It definitely feels touristy these days. While you’ll see mostly Russian tourists along the beach stretch a few kilometers away, the market itself is absolutely flooded with Koreans. We didn't mind the crowds, though; the busy atmosphere is just part of the adventure! You can find just about anything across the three floors—dry goods, clothing, footwear, and plenty of knock-off brands. The third floor is mostly empty, but it's worth a wander to see what's tucked away. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to the chaos, but we found it exciting. We managed to snag a few items at great prices, just make sure you haggle to get the best deal!

The market is very diverse. Very suitable for domestic and international tourists. I bought very good products from E & EM shop on the 3rd floor. The genuine leather handbags and goods are of good quality. The price and quality are very good. If I have the chance, I will come back.

We’d seen quite a few reviews and decided to check out Dam Market. It’s a big space with rows of stalls selling everything from dried seafood and snacks to clothes, souvenirs, and household items. There’s definitely a bit of repetition in what’s being sold, with many vendors offering similar products, especially in the food and clothing sections. We didn’t stay too long – not sure if it was the heat, the crowds, or just market fatigue after visiting so many recently. That said, it’s still a fun browse if you’re into haggling or scouting for some local finds. If you’re nearby or want a bargain, it’s worth popping in

Three floors, the ground has two main categories, one section is seasonings and foods (dry fruit ), another is pearls and all kinds of stone for wearing. Crafts as well. There are many shops for clothes and leather products in the second floor. The third floor is similar to the second one, but many shops are closed.
