Yelp
In a land rife with wine options, DaMa was unfortunately underwhelming for me.
The venue itself is nice enough and spacious: a large table near the enterance, a bar area with about 6 seats, a few other seating areas, and a loft which I did not explore. The venue seems to be appealing to a more light-hearted rather than sophisticated crowd - there was a not-so-subtle "naughty" theme throughout. The price, however is on par with other wineries that take themselves a bit more seriously (or snooty). I can clarify that it was not overly expensive.
A flight tasting was $8 (I believe there was a Rose, a Chardonnay, a Cowgirl Cab ("everyday red"), a Merlot, a 2011 and 2010 DaManation GSM flagship red, and a Syrah . . .there may have been another Cab Sav in there, but I can't recall) which was applicable to a bottle purchase.
The pourer had some socially questionable moments but was attentive and kept up on our pours despite being away from the bar.
Overall, the experience was okay. The wine didn't really grab me on any front but if I were to chose, I would recommend the 2010 DaManation GSM. Despite me not being fully sold on the experience, there are accolades to be issued for letting us close the place down on a Sunday while chatting with other out-of-towners.
Positives: Venue fits many, seems to draw in large crowds, clean, priced in the median
Negatives: Wine did not impress, staff could amp up the bubbly.
