A perfect spot for a short getaway from the city. While the resort shows some signs of age, the facilities are well maintained. The room was spacious, and the beach offered a relaxing atmosphere. We had a wonderful and enjoyable stay! Ohh, the resort offered some activities for families too!

Had a pleasant stay at Damai Beach Resort. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean and just a short walk from the beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was decent, nothing extravagant, but edible and sufficient, although with limited choices. Overall, this place is perfect for a peaceful getaway, especially if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Would definitely recommend for a short, rejuvenating retreat.

Nice resort by the beach. We stayed here for 1 night after a long journey from KL. Nice breakfast and the mee kolok was so tasty. You should try it. This resort doesn’t have lift so it was difficult for a wheelchaired person to stay other than ground floor. The room was so spacious and we loved it. Thank you to the staff that really helped us during check in. I would like to thanks also to the manager on duty on that day for his kindness to help my mom pushing her wheelchair to the lobby. The location is just nearby to Sarawak Budaya Village. Nice staying here and I would repeat it if I come back to Sarawak.

We took the hilltop residence, and the view is really great. It gives a really commanding view over the resort so you can imagine how it is like during sunrise and sunset. The room was, in my opinion, good but could be better. The bathroom lacks amenities like bath gel and shampoo, although it was twin beded. Having a balcony is great, but it requires better maintenance on the railing, and the plants could use some tender, loving care. (Fertilizer would certainly help) The best thing about the resort is certainly their manpower. The drivers that shuttle us from the main resort building to the hilltop residence, the room cleaners, and the reception area were all exceptional, going beyond what I normally encounter in such a resort. My only complaint was the food. Although opting for lunch and dinner at seafood restaurants outside, which are quite well known in the area, breakfast was taken at the resort restaurant. I was really disappointed with the spread. The Fried rice was soggy, choice of fruit could be better, sausage tasted like there wasn't meat in it, the roti chanai was almost leathery, the laksa which i felt was iconic for Sarawak did not measure up at all, and the egg if scrambled should not be too dry as with the omelet as well. (Two nights, three days, allowed me to sample all the mentioned) Although this is my personal experience, I certainly encourage everyone to write their own accounts of the place, so it would give a fair review, not only my view.

Needs to be upgraded to keep up with modern times. Has beautiful sunset view and good pool. Food (breakfast) is average. Love the bed. Good place to relax. (Stayed at the chalet)

Overall very nice resort, kids like it very much. Alot activities as the pool and the beach are nearby, easy to play around two side. The food in the hotel nice too. But there is no parking lot for the hills room take the luggage up for walking up 3 level staircase, difficult for the elderly as once they back the hotel will not willing to step out anymore.

Great, clean & nice room. Delicious cuisine, polite & professional staff. Nice view. Got a separate pool for adults & kids, They have bar near the lobby & also have a beach bar. Everyone in my family enjoys staying here.

The check in process was smoothly done as it was not a peak season on fasting month. We enjoyed our stay even though it rained a bit. Room size is really spacious for the pool side standard two queen room at 43m2. The view around the hill top suites with Mt Santubong at the back drop was wonderful. The breakfast was okay with some western and continental spread, including Sarawak Laksa. I'm glad the chocolate muffin was not sweet at all, perfect for my kids and myself :)
