Damn Fine Cafe

This is a lovely place for breakfast or lunch. The staff are helpful and the food is delicious. We always go here whilst in Lichfield as dogs are NOT Allowed in and I hope this policy stays this way as I'm allergic to dog hair/fur and can enjoy my time in there..... Guys, you're doing a great job and it's a pleasure to come to your "Damn Fine Café"

This is my go-to place for lunch when I visit Lichfield. I was here last week, perhaps my 10th visit over 2 or 3 years. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, the food is always nice and they do excellent tea and coffee. It gets busy in the middle of lunch time (I wonder why!) so plan accordingly. It's nice to sit outside when the weather permits as the road is pedestrianised.

We visited this cafe yesterday lunch as a big group of 9 people. Staff were very accommodating to such a large group and were lovely and patient towards the children. Food was great and the cafe felt like such a friendly environment. Staff were hardworking yet all had a smile on their faces. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Lichfield.

Lovely atmosphere 👌 position in Lichfield City ,inside seats are comfortable, as are outside, my pork lunch was excellent 👌 one of the best to be honest ,staff helpful 😀 reasonable price also ,nice music in background .Good people watching seats, 👀 🙄. So a 5 star 🌟 🤩 from me ,visiting from Australia 🇦🇺 😀.

Indoor ventilation can improve, especially during the busy hours as the smoke can cover the whole cafe and made us smell poor after eating here. The pancake can also improve. Food is generally good but would expect the “real” American style pancake like thicker and larger in size. Staff was very nice btw.

The most awful experience I ever had! Went for a cappuccino today at Dam Fine Coffee Bistro, and request to be served outside. The lady in charge serving the coffee came outside with two mugs of cappuccino and a very dirty tray with two extremely dirty spoons placed directly on the tray! I've nicely request if those spoons could be changed as was imposible to pop them into our mugs. She has banged the door after her and few minutes later came holding in her hand the spoons freshly washed. Just before giving us the spoons into the heand she has dried them off by her dirty sleeves! That's awful 😖 I have never seen such a service in my life! I literally could see the marks left by the spoons on her jumper sleeve! I have requested again to be changed because something like this is unacceptable! Minutes later came again probably with the same spoons wrapped into a crinkle serviettes and place them directly on the dirty table! So, are you for real?? Why do you believe i have requested clean spoons?? Do you belive is normal to introduce something dirty and full of bacterias into my drink?? The coffee was awful too! Was a mug of milk with coffee flavour. I have requested cappuccino not a glass of milk or a latte coffee! The owner in charge it should train the staff before they get in touch with the costumers, as she was having not a clue what she's doing! I will not recommend to no one this place!

Very nice little cafe. Quite busy. We had to wait for 10 minutes or so for a table to become free at around 11:30 on Sunday, but took that as a sign it must be good. Breakfast was delicious. Good quality ingredients. Friendly and prompt service. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favour and have the Pork baguette.. trust me!! Amazing food every single time, I must have eaten there 100 times over the years.. perfect crackling every time, yum!!! 🥰👍

A nice cafe with a good selection of snacks ideal for a lunchtime clean and comfortable and with reasonable prices. well worth a visit.
