Damn Fine Pizza

This is a big open space that still gives the "Grunge" feel. Certainly a great vibe and what I want in a good pizza joint. The outside patio seating could use some help but that is my only gripe. The pizza is damn fine! I had to give it a good comparison, so pepperoni was the only choice. Here is my breakdown... Great seasoning, fantastic cheese blend, great sauce ratio, and just enough grease to give it that true NY style pizza. The crust was good, but could use a bit of char; however, that is me being nit-picky. It is probably the best pizza I have had in a few years. I wish I had them in my town because they are absolutely delicious! They do not deliver and they do not currently work with any delivery services (Uber, GrubHub, door dash) so dine-in and pickup are the only options. Enjoy

Visited this restaurant based on great ratings, and saw they offered a gluten free crust option. I ordered a 12” half Nonna Piccata and half A-Rae-Gula. I got my kid two individual slices of pepperoni. My pizza toppings were tasty, but the gluten free crust was rather hard. As shown in photos, the outer of the crust was burnt. The photo doesn’t look too bad, but the burn taste lingered. I came here mainly bcs of the gluten free crust, so I was disappointed. My kid thoroughly enjoyed her individual pepperoni pizza slices that she was yum’ing almost the whole time while eating. The regular crust looked/felt fluffier, so she ate everything. The table next to me had a generous portions of Caesar salad, and said the anchovy dressing was delicious. So we’ll come back next time for that.

Excellent selection of pizzas including a build your own option. The toppings were fresh and the pizza and calzone crust was perfectly crisped. Our bartender Jacob was very friendly and we had efficient service on a busy Saturday night. The ambience of the place was also super cool and we loved the pinball area :)

So good, got it to go because of the beach calling me. You order at the door get a drink and get a number. But the restraunt is lovely, bartender is very friendly and busy. This place was hopping. Tried two different pizzas and a salad all awesome. Would highly recommend.

I love everything about DFP! Great pizza with excellent combinations and toppings amounts, not too much and not too little. The crust is crunchy on the bottom and has a nice chew to it. The salads are also delicious if you're into that kind of thing. Service is always prompt and friendly. And, my favorite thing is the Twin Peaks theme!

This place has to be one of the BEST pizza parlors around. They have the tastiest GF crust I have ever had. It's better than Paggliaci's. I have literally sat in traffic for an hour for their pizza. DFP has classic and creative pies, a full bar, lots of NA options too. There is a whole pinball arcade and trivia on Wednesday nights is a blast. Their Twin Peaks theme is perfect. DFP also has the best view around and is the best spot for bird watching. You can sit at the bar for full service or snag a table. It can get a little a noisy and busy so get there early. It's totally worth it.

One of my favorite places in town. Pies can take a while but are always worth it. Order & pay at the counter, they bring the food to your table. Outside seating is super nice in the summer. There are also pinball games you can play for quarters! In our experience, food is always good when we dine-in, hot and fresh. Our go-to pie is the Henny Plz 😌

This place is super cute and overlooks the water. The pizzas have very unique flavor combos and are decently priced. The warm olives were incredible. They have one of my favorite tasting bloody maries around.

When your Italian friend from the East Coast tells you this pizza is legit, it's legit. Him and his wife live in Port Orchard and say they love it so much they sometimes eat here more than once a week. It was around 12p on Sunday, we were starving (we were going to arrive when they opened at 11a but our car locked itself with the keys inside AND running! And it took a while for us to break back in LOL) and the restaurant was pretty empty. It did fill up but still enough seating since it's a large space. We ordered two large pizzas, shared a Caesar salad between 4 adults and ordered the Mac and cheese for my daughter and it was more than enough food. The Henny Plz is my fave so far. The spicy salami (soppressata) and the hot honey combo was *chef's kiss* I'd ask for more hot honey the next time. The Marg was simple and good. Highly recommend!

Went tonight as a gift from a close friend. We ordered the spicy meatballs, and one of the cheese pizza combos. The food was excellent. The drinks were legit. She had a basil drink I don't remember the name of it, but was bubbly and fresh. The best part was that Mai Tai, made from scratch. As good or better than Hawaii. I told the bartender the same. The bonus was every employee was cool and responsive. I'd go back tomorrow. Great place to sit and look at the water.

I am so damn happy this place popped up. It's practically perfect, that new years steak was straight up perfect!! I'm pretty damn snobby about my meat (butcher for many years), and they absolutely nailed it. Pizza is damn fine, the gluten free crust is also awesome if that matters to you. Absolutely awesome service, everyone is very sweet (especially the owner). No notes. Looks friggen awesome inside, so many awesome pinball machines!!! I was looking for a place to meet people in my new neighborhood, and this place is perfect for that. port orchard really needed a place like this, I'm very very happy they opened, I'll be back soon!!!

Margherita is so yummy and they also have vegan cheese for my husband! Highly recommend

My family recently tried this place at the recommendation of some friends. While the food was good, we were really disappointed with the fact that we ended up waiting a really long time for our to go order. We are willing to try this place again as a dine in experience to see if the service is better. If so, I will update my review accordingly.

Very excited to see this great space put to use! Went with a group of five, we tried three pizzas and a variety of drinks. Order at the counter service, which is fine, but we did see a disconnect there. Our food came out at way different times despite ordering together. One pizza was done and half of us done eating before the second pizza came out. Really good diverse beer selection and the customer cocktails were very impressive! Everyone liked the pizza. Personally didn't think it was the best, especially for the price, but good. Will definitely be back to watch them grow and improve! There are pinball machines and there is outdoor seating which should be epic in summertime.

.....ok folks.....this is real! The BEST pizza in Kitsap County and Port Orchard (in its entirety) is found at Damn Fine Pizza !!! This is not a drill, this is for real, don't even think about any other pizza (to include Brooklyn Pizzeria) in the area. DFP has the crispiest crust around. For those who don't know about pizza, this is the Holy Grail of pizza. As mentioned before, there's only one other place that can come close to DFP in the area.....DFP has the space, outdoor seating and gaming area unlike any other place in the area. Service is beyond reproach!! I will experience their "cocktail program" next time I'm there. If you eat pizza....YOU HAVE TO GET HERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!

My parents have been here a few times and kept telling me how good it was. I heard recently that they have vegan cheese and that sold me. We came in and ordered up front, and the hostess was very accommodating and helpful. Our food came pretty quickly and I instantly regretted not getting the breakfast pizza that my partner ordered. My pizza was delicious, but his pizza looked amazing. I will most likely be back tonight to order one since it's limited time. The restaurant is very spacious and has plenty of seating and a small area for pinball.

So hopefully this business can stick around, a lot of businesses around this area don't last very long. So the setup in here is kind of different. You have to order your food first before dining inside. I mean to each of their own, but I would rather order my own food while getting settled in at a booth or table, that's just me though lol. I came in here with my mom, we got a couple of pizzas. Overall the pizza was just okay. We had ordered the bomb, which consists of Pepperoni, Italian fennel sausage, black olives & red onion, and the A-RAE-GULA that had prosciutto, mushroom & fresh mozzarella finished with arugula, cherry tomato, parmesan cheese & balsamic reduction. I would definitely say the bomb was better, the other one just ok. It was a little bit too sweet and I felt like I was eating a salad with a cheesy breadstick, but that's just my opinion, others may love it lol.

Yummy, great ambiance, highly recommend for locals and for folx on vacation in the area. The pizza dough is thin, not crispy, almost like NY style, and delicious!

They still have some kinks to work out. Namely the checkout process. As far as cocktails go this is pretty neat for Port Orchard. The location is ideal and when the construction let's up down there it will be easier to navigate.

I've been here three times now, had the same bartender the last two times (Tyler the big stache guyyyy who is super awesome) . Service is aces, they are attentive and willing to answer any questions. We prefer sitting at the bar everywhere for speedy service but they do use an ordering counter still so I recommend sitting at the bar to avoid the line. The food is always delicious. I love pizza and miss california staples but their pizza comes close! Lastly the ambiance is dimly light in the evenings and they have good music playing at a reasonable volume and tv going. Recommend stopping in for some good food and some games in their game area that also offers cool lights.

Damn the pizza is amazing! They have pinball machines, water view and a cool Vibe. The service is great whether to go or dining in. The King Volcano pizza was great not a pizza I'd normally order - give it a try.

WOW! This place is amazing ! I kept seeing amazing reviews and I know why . You walk in and the atmosphere is clean and tidy . You go to bar and order your food and drink . They give you a number and you can sit anywhere . Outdoor seating is lovely ! You can see the water and enjoy people watching . We also sat at the bar another time coming here and still great service . We ordered two Mules which were delicious! A-Rae-Gula pizza (small) Da Bomb Wow this crust is to die for ! That crunch is like nothing else and so fluffy . Each pizza was made well and tasted fresh . Con: we were waiting the second time for a long while .. we had to ask what was going on since no one said anything to us . They told us that the oven went down and it was taking a minute to get it back up and back up to temperature. I've done food for a long time , I would of let my guests know instead of them just sitting at the bar ... waiting . As the staff kept asking if I wanted more to drink or if I'm ok ...

This is the best pizza I've had since I've been in WA state. The Henny please is my favorite, the hot honey is a perfect topping to spice it up but add some sweet. We also got the lady bird, it had a ranch dressing based sauce that was clearly homemade and tasted so fresh. The breadsticks are awesome also. Overall food is excellent. The place is very big and spacious but also very homey. View is spectacular all day and even at night. service is top notch. I highly recommend stopping in for a beer and slice of pie.

Very cool revamp in this spot. Upbeat atmosphere, attentive staff and a very good pizza, damn fine if I do say so! Met some friends there and we were all glad we decided to come here for dinner! Not too many taps but they did have some local favorites. Glad this place is here and will be back soon to try out the patio on a nice evening!

I had one of the worst dates of my life here (the guy kept using the re**rded word, kept groping me, kept yelling about not being able to play pinball, kept trying to shove his tongue down my throat and all I wanted was to shove this delicious pizza in my face. THANK GOD for the pizza and drinks and warm marinated olives. This place left me with the sustenance required to tell the guy to not ever call me again.

This is the BEST tasting Italian style pizza I've had in the USA. Great authentic crust. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice waterfront setting. Pizza by the slice. Oh. And vintage pinball machines in a separate room. Family friendly.

It's nice to find a place with good food and well made cocktails. While I do love a classic you can find anywhere kind of pizza. I was in the mood for some thing more unique. And this place did a damn fine job. Not your typical topping compilations but we'll put together and good crust. Toasty and chewy. Plus they like to top off their pizza with a drizzle of something. Mine had a spicy honey drizzle. Different and tasty. Next I'm super surprised and happy with the tiki-esque drink menu. A tropical drink with pizza, ok I dig it. They have a full bar too. So you come in and grab a menu. Find a seat then order at the register when your ready. They give you a number and your drinks. Then in about 10min your eating. We sat out side and viewed the water. But there is plenty of seating inside and out. The atmosphere didn't give me any kind of vibe. Just restaurant. And the service was quick and friendly. Will come back.

The pizza was good. I've never been a fan of counter service for sit-down restaurants. It's cumbersome at best. I'd give another star if not for that.

I stopped by today to try out some new menu items. My companion really enjoyed the new meatball sub and the BLT salad. I ordered the grider and a cannoli. The grinder was so good I finished it before I thought to get a photo. The bread was excellent, this was no grocery store variety sub roll. This was more like a baguette that was dense but also soft, with a slightly crisp exterior. The filling had delicious meats, provolone cheese and some greens and sliced cherry tomatoes with some aoli. The cannoli had a perfectly crisp and fresh shell. The filling featured chocolate bits that were a finer consistency than a mini chip which added a nice flavor and texture without making the filling too crunchy or chocolatey. Dusted with just a bit of powdered sugar, I'm giving this one high marks. Try it. Tony Soprano would have been proud of this one. I really like these new menu items.

Good pizza with quality toppings. It has the typical pizza parlor ordering system ( at the counter), but they do bring plates and utensils. Atmosphere was very nice given the location around back of an empty shopping center. There are nice views of the water if you don't look at the loading dock out back. All in all a nicer restaurant and location than I expected. do go for quality pizzas that are fire cooked. Don't go if you want massive quantities of cheese.

This place is awesome! The pizza and salads are so good! Probably best Caesar I have ever had! We love the decor and the location and as a bonus they have my husbands favorite pinball machine! Looking forward to an upcoming date night to come back.

It was good and a cool funky vibe. On the water which is rare for Port Orchard. Good pour list, and cocktail choices. We got the pizza by the slice, a cheese and pepperoni. It was good. The full pies look way more tantalizing.

It was a great experience! Super friendly and delicious pizza! The view is a bonus! Plus you can go walk the boardwalk after playing some pinball.

This place is soo much fun! Great food, great service, the King Volcano is pizza perfection! Plus, a plethora of pinball games. Chill laid back vibe. Comfy warm Lo-fi ambience. Plus a breathtaking view of the water & Bremerton. Hip west Seattle feel but in Kitsap County!

Ambiance and view are amazing. Today, we had the gluten free crust and it was truly the best pizza I've had in the US. The flavor and the crust was reminiscent of the delicious pizza in Tuscany, Italy. Family friendly but they also have amazing cocktails at the bar. Service was friendly and prompt. I can't wait to return.

We ordered a "The Bomb" pizza, as well as a cheese pizza. It was ok, but not great. My top 2 criterion for great pizza are: good crust, with a great flavor and texture, and great toppings. Both were lacking unfortunately. It wasn't awful, it wasn't great, mediocre at best. This is the kind of pizza that I'd eat if someone bought it and it was around, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it.

We tried this place for the first time. We ordered a pizza with a white sauce that was pretty good. It was difficult to enjoy our pizza because of the obnoxious oder of incense. The smell was so strong that it stuck to our clothing when we left. Why does a pizza place need to burn incense? This looks like it could be a fun restaurant but the music playing is pretty dark rock and the smell was awful!!!

Very good pizza, but could be great! They fall slightly short on 2 counts: the sauce is too sweet, and the dough could use a longer, slower proving to give it more flavor. But awesome char on the crust! Best pizza in Port Orchard.

A really cool concept and place! Cocktail menu is really diverse, on tap selection is great. Ordering at the bar is a little inconvenient but not terrible. Crust is cooked well BUT flavorless, adding more salt, seasoning, or even just salted butter spread on it would make it 10x better. Definitely a great pizza place for Port Orchard and better than the other spots!

Food decent. Service from the big mustache guy at the counter was horrible..... unbelievably horrible.......

Waitress was rude to me and my family. Others who ordered after us got there food first. When I asked a question she acted like she couldn't be bothered when she was just standing behind the bar doing nothing

The pizza is shitty but they also discriminate against people with disabilities. One of the people in my party has bells palsy and the bartender decided that she must be wasted because of her disability and cut her off before she had even had a drink. When I tried to talk to cassandra about it she told me to leave and said I was yelling when I wasn't. When I told her I wasn't yelling she said "do you want me to ask other people of you're yelling?" I said yes because she was full of crap. She declined to ask anyone because she knows she was full of crap and told me to leave again. A guy who said he was 24 and claimed to understand because he had had a stroke said that he agreed that the other employee was discriminating but still refused to give me the owners information. This place sucks.

Excellent pizza and fun vibe! The salad was great with a good amount of dressing + cheese, the cannoli was outstanding!

This really is DFP!!! Their pies are made just right! The Crust is crispy outside and chewy inside..with just a tad of char on it. Perfect! Toppings and sauce are always fresh. If you take kids to the pinball room, bring plenty of quarters! Note that it is a tad loud( the music) great cocktails and good beers on tap. Check it out!

Great pizza place with an awesome, well-maintained pinball room. Great view of the bay and great design. You place your order at the counter, and there are no servers. If you're in the mood to laugh, go check out the one star review of this place. There's a huge sign at the front that says order at the counter, which makes the one star review even funnier.

We came on a beautiful day, ordered pizza and cocktails and sat at the outdoor dining overlooking the water, Bremerton and a view of the Olympic Mountains. The Margherita Pizza was wonderful. Great crust and high quality toppings. I can't remember the names of the cocktails we got, but they were very tasty and original. We ended up going back for seconds. Highly recommend.

These people don't have a clue how to run a restaurant. Their menu was confusing and service was nonexistant. Prices were not shown on menu I viewed. I'm not sure how you place an order. We waited at the table for about 30 minutes without service and finally left. They will not be in business long after the newness wears out. Same thing happened to the brewery that was there for a while.

WOW is an understatement. We went here tonight for our first time and the food was amazing. The absolute best Cesar salad I've had in years and the pizza is to die for. Our waitress Shawna was amazing and yes it is counter service but that doesn't change anything. The atmosphere and great food are worth it. 10/10 stars. We will be back for more soon!

Trying to find a nice sit-down pizza parlor has been an ongoing struggle in town...but ambiance and great tasting pizza make this a great new hot spot. Service needs some tweaking as new customers are confused whether to sit and order or order at the register. Also, nobody likes sitting next to un-bussed tables. efficiency there will earn a 5-star review from me

Went in on a busy Friday night...sat outside with a lovely view. We ordered and we were told 15-20 minutes and it was exactly 20 minutes in spite of almost every table being full and people waiting in line. We ordered a half Broken Meatball and half Curtis and it was delicious! Great crust, super tasty sauce, very friendly service. Can't wait to go back!!

We decided to try Damn Fine Pizza after seeing that it had been selected as the No. 1 Pizza place for the 2023 Community Choice Awards for Kitsap county. We love good pizza and are willing to travel a ways to find it. First, this place gets a 5 for view - on the Port Orchard water front across from Bremerton ship yard. Fairly large inside and good views inside or outside. The sign up front says pick up a menu, choose what you want and order at counter. No problem as Shakey's, Round Table and many others all do that. So, the few reviews that complained about nobody taking their order apparently can't read. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our favorite pizza place is Sourdough Willy's in Kingston which is a 1 hour drive for us, vs 30 minutes to this place. We ordered 2 different medium pizzas - a pineapple, pepperoni and mushroom and a ricotta, basil and prosciutto. Their sauce is very sweet - like it has sugar in it. The crust is pretty good, just not Sourdough Willy's good. We liked the pineapple/pepperoni pizza the best, the other was just so-so. Is this place better that other places? - yes, better than many others, but Sourdough Willy's is No. 1 by comparison.

The pizza was very good. The pinball machines are a nice touch. Love the view of PSNS and the ferries coming and going.
