Dancing Goat Distillery

Great location and a beautiful property! The bartenders and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the ability to try several samples at no cost. They have a very small seasonal cocktail menu so it doesn’t make for a very long visit but it’s nice quick stop to check out.

I don't do many distilleries, but we popped in here and really enjoyed it. Their servers are super friendly and let you taste several of their spirits. They explain a lot about each of them, what to mix, how to mix, etc. The place is really nice both inside and out, I could have spent a lot more time here.

Incredible experience! The staff was so lovely and welcoming, and the spirits are delicious! We attended the Gin Academy class and had a wonderful time exploring the ingredients we could add to curate our own gin. The instructor was excellent. Pro tip: Get “dessert” with a taste of their Cow Pie plus their Wondermint!

Great place to visit. Took the tour and tasting. Fun tour of the place, and got to sample a few of their spirits. Also a nice bar to stop and try their spirits.

Went here for tour & tasting. They do not have a full bar & you cannot purchase cocktails. However they do hold monthly events & you can call for details. You also can do a flight tasting. All of their spirits are available for sale & they have a variety of glassware & other merchandise. Our tour guide was amazing & very knowledgeable! They also offer a class where you can make & bottle your own gin! Their Rye is excellent! They also have seasonal finishes.

Tour and tasting at Dancing Goat is fantastic. Very informative, and had a great energy. Most importantly, their rye whiskey is amazing!

I got the Pie Flight, and it was delicious. The service was great. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

As other have said it's worth it to take the time to seek out and stop by Dancing Goat Distillery. The whiskey rye is amazing (I had an old fashioned), the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is to die for. I'm sure I'll stop by again!

Stopped in for an old fashioned on our way through town. The owner was really friendly and knowledgeable. The whiskey old fashioneds with their homemade maple syrup were amazing. Such a cool space!

Dancing goat distillery has a nice bar and seating area. They have dancing goat merchandise to purchase as well as bottles of spirits. We had a specialty cocktail with seasonal strawberries. I had a nice atmosphere and was busy for Memorial Weekend.

Finally got out to visit dancing goat for a distillery tour and it didn't disappoint. The building is very cool and the tour was fun, informative, and you get plenty of samples. After the tour you get to taste four of their bourbon and whiskey (think it rotates based on newer releases). After the tour you are able to sample up to 6 more spirits. Hoping to plan another visit to do their gin class!

What an amazing establishment! Excellent food and cocktails paired with a full blown distillery producing some of the best spirits I've ever tasted. Service and staff are amazing.

Seriously guys, if you like great whiskey, this place is the place to be! But more importantly, the PEOPLE that work there are AMAZING! Sean, Corbin, and Nick Maas were legit the most cynosure part of my whole experience visiting the distillary today. All the staff was so humble, so knowledgeable, and so excited for their craft that I legit had a sublime time talking to each and every one of them. I have been there twice before and this was the first time they opened the "back of the house" and it blew all my previous experiences out the water. I will be back purely for the staff, because I know that if they are as passionate as they showed me today, the whiskey will be the best thing on the market EVERY. TIME. Thank you so much for your hospitality and jubilant mindset for the product you put out to the public. I, for one, am happy to have you so close to me, when you could be easily competing with the big names in whiskey row.

@yelpwisconsin hosted a Yelp Elite event at @dancinggoatdistillery. I walked in and was greeted immediately by name and was welcomed with a delicious charcuterie cups provided by @trickyfoods. I walked over to the bar and had a couple of welcome passion fruit and gin cocktails from @dancinggoatdistillery. The lovely staff at @dancinggoatdistillery split us into groups and I learned how to make a proper Wisconsin Old Fashion. I also went on a tour where I was able to fill the barrel, close the barrel and sign my name. I have a barrel with my name on it! I will definitely be back for the gin class next month.

Stopped in the Dancing Goat distillery on a weekend road trip. I thought they had a full bar but today it was just free sampling, that's ok but don't plan on spending a long time there. We had three samplings. Apple pie was good and I swear I could taste the pie crust! The cow pie was delicious, put it in coffee or on it's own on ice or over ice cream! Go there! Now nextdoor to the winery.

It was a little hard to find the first time out, but it's worth the time to find it! Beautiful building, stellar craft drinks and a stunning landscape. Can't wait to see what other creations they continue to find and distill!

Patrick, bartender and event coordinator, was incredibly passionate about drinks. Loved learning about cocktails from him. Really cool to see a local distillery thrive! Can't wait to try the gin creation experience!

What a fantastic distillery! They offer a free selection of samples to try their products. What really made our experience though was the fantastic service by Matt in the tasting room. Will be returning! :)

The building was beautiful and would be great for a special event, if you can get a liquor license. As it is right now, all they can do is pour three samples per person. They do not serve mixed drinks. Outside there are a few picnic tables, but they seem pointless since you cannot buy drinks or food there. When they need to sell due to this poor business model, they should sell to Cambridge Winery, amongst whose vineyard they are located. The ambiance would be far preferable to a concrete box on a highway. I gave one star for a great building and one for their 6 year whiskey.

Stop the press!!!!! This place is so neat!!! Surrounded by grape vines on the outskirts of Cambridge Wisconsin. Rustic industrial theme throughout. Lots of natural lighting. Plenty of seating. Two flat screen televisions. Large square bar with additional high top tables with bar stools. This place is a tasting room and only serves its specialty cocktails. No beer or other drinks can be made. Specialty cocktails include a seasonal section. There are a few chocolate & liquor pairings on the menu as well! Merchandise available. Open Thursday - Sunday.

I selected one star because 0 or negative stars are not available. Drove 60 miles on a Saturday afternoon to sample their spirits. The one person tending to the flights advised us to take any seat at the bar and then proceeded to completely ignore us for 20 minutes while she had a conversation with another patron! When other customers advised her of our wait she provided a flight for one of us only! Worst service I ever had anywhere! I don't care about the quality of their spirits, the owners have little respect for the customer. The 4 people next to us also left after not being served in a timely manner!

Worth a visit if you're in the area. Friendly staff and good spirits. We went on a tour of the distillery and got a taste of the process of making whiskey and bourbon!

I love seeing establishments like this come to Cambridge! They are great at what they do - whiskey! It was so smooth...I started with a Maple Smash, and then had the Limousin Rye, it comes with a piece of dark chocolate from the Baraboo Candy Co. The combo was a match made in heaven. The bar staff was friendly, the environment was super classy...and I will definitely be back!

Great drinks. Beautiful building. I wish the outside area that is nice had better sitting. The bartender that was working was very rude and talked down to us when we asked about the drinks they made. We went outside the people out there 8 people said they had the same experience he was not very nice to them. Hopefully they hire people soon that aren't rude. We won't be back.

Ok Ladies, This is not just for the guys! My girlfriends and I each found a great cocktail to suit our taste. Beautifully-designed building, excellent service and fantastic drink menu! Nestled in the back of the Vineyards at Cambridge Development. I can't wait to stop next summer to enjoy the great patio!

We go here all of the time! We are not normally rye whiskey fans, but they do an amazing job! We always start with a simple whiskey, neat, with their amazing local chocolate. Then a cocktail. The cocktails are great, and they constantly play around and try new ones. The staff is always very knowledgeable about their liquors, and very enthusiastic about their production and product!

They have this crazy maple syrup they age in barrels try their maple smash cocktail its something else. Bartenders are funny AF. Lots of dogs around. Make sure you take the drive way in (follow street signs for dancing goat), when I was there someone drove on a bike path and over the lawn! It was a no no!
