"Dancing House - Prague's stylishest building is also a hotel. Prague is absolutely one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Its abundant beauty is not only related to the variety of architecture styles (Gothic; Art- Nouveau and Baroque) but also to natural elements such as wild swans that gracefully float along the Vltava River at sunset. Wherever you step in; a restaurant, a bar, a pizzeria... no matter, you will feel embraced. Czech citizens speak Czech, German and English (especially the young crowd). Even though Prague 's touristic appeal brings thousands of tourists every year, it is a very affordable city and doesn't give off any feelings of greediness at its core. Food and fun are affordable here. One of the simplest and most exuberant things to do in Prague is walking along the Vltava River. Cross Charles Bridge, enjoy old town, check out the Astronomical clock and do not skip the "Dancing Building"! It's a masterpiece and a must see. If you love architecture, design, art, photography or even if you are just a visual person, you will have a great time when you see this building because it's just so cool! It's also easy to spot as it's located in Old Town and it's also a hotel. The building was designed by Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry (the same architect that designed Disney Opera Hall in Downtown Los Angeles ). The Dancing House was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996. The building design was controversial at the time because the house stands out among the Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings for which Prague is famous. However, then-Czech president Václav Havel (who also lives nearby) gave all of his support hoping that the building would become a center of cultural activity. It turned out to be a great decision to support the project since designers, architects, artists, and enthusiasts from all around the world are drawn in flocks to see "Fred and Ginger", a nickname given by Gehry as the building resembles a pair of dancers. The nickname is not commonly used but refers to famous dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. By Creative Travelers"
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during a recent business trip, and everything about the experience was exceptional. The location is ideal—near the city center but still just far enough to be outside the big rush and crowd, offering a more relaxed atmosphere. A nearby metro station made getting around incredibly convenient. The highlight for me was definitely the rooftop bar. It offers an incredible view over the city—perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings. The breakfast was amazing—truly everything you can think of. A well-balanced and healthy selection that caters to all tastes, making the start of each day a real treat. The service was professional, the room was spotless and comfortable, and all facilities were modern and well-maintained. -> Highly recommended for business travelers and tourists alike looking for the perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and a touch of style.

Our stay at the Dancing House Hotel was absolutely fantastic, particularly in the Ginger Suite! The suite itself was wonderfully designed – modern, clean, and felt brand new. We especially loved the huge shower and the clever two-door layout that provided excellent privacy.
Breakfast was a delight; a great selection of fresh items without the fuss of a massive dining room. What truly made our stay special, though, was the service. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their face. And of course, waking up to the stunning view of Prague right from our bed was an unforgettable experience.
The only minor downsides were that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, and we could hear some street traffic during the day. However, these didn't significantly detract from an otherwise wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel service quality has overcome all our expectations! It’s excellent and undoubtedly deserves five stars. The room was ideally cleaned, a slightly sensed relaxing fragrance created a special ambiance that made us feel at home in Prague. We arrived late at night due to the delayed flight but the receptionist was most helpful and polite arranged transport to the hotel and received us in the best way: quickly and welcomingly. Highly recommend Dancing House!

Spacious rooms and delicious breakfast. We stayed as a family in connecting rooms which were both super spacious and extravagant. We enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner - they might consider turning down the volumen of the easy listening but otherwise great experiences.
Despite being next to a busy road, the rooms were quiet and we slept comfortably in the supersized beds.
Highly recommended.

One of the best hotels where we stayed. I would return there only for the views from the terrace during breakfast. Breakfast itself was also good, though with the same choices every day. We booked the cheapest room using their promo code, and it was surprisingly large. The staff was friendly, and as international tourists in Prague we didn’t have any issues with the hotel.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my Husband as a treat. The building itself is a notable landmark, well located with public transport (5min walk to the underground which takes you to the bus depot for the airport shuttle) - very walkable also and a tram stop right outside.
The breakfast was superb, good quality buffet with many options, but they also offer cooked breakfast on demand. There is a roof-top bar with fantastic views, we got a free ticket to the terrace.
We didn't book a premium room, but still found it quite comfortable and clean, we had views of the river luckily!
All in all a lovely modern city hotel, great as a pit-stop to rest after exploring the city.

Stayed in room 411. Beautiful room. Extremely clean and was kept the same way for the four nights we stayed there. Housekeeping was brilliant. |Bathroom was spotless clean towels every day. |Staff are friendly. They always greeted you with a smile. |Breakfast is worth the extra pennies. |If you order from the menu that’s even better the omelette was the best. |Lots of choice.||A little walk to the centre but worth it. |We went when it was -12 and the hotel was snug and warm. ||The sky bar was worth a visit. Glad we had a voucher to go onto the deck which we were given at reception. |Service up there was not as good the rest of the hotel. ||Would we stay again 100% yes.
