Dandy Hotel Tianjin Branch

My stay at the Dandy Hotel - Tianjin Branch was one of the best stays I've ever had in my travels! The room was very clean, the beds were wonderful to sleep on, and the bathroom was spacious and equipped with an electric toilet. I looked forward to breakfast - it was very delicious, and the hot foods were different everyday. The staff were so kind, gave great recommendations of places to visit around the area, and always went out of their way to help with anything I may need. Location is convenient, near a lot of restaurants and shops, as well as a station connected to two metro lines. Overall, highly, highly recommended and 100% would stay again next time I am in Taipei.

The service in this hotel was excellent. Kim at reception greeted us and from the first days we felt like we were being well taken care of! She was so nice and helpful throughout our whole trip. The facilities were excellent, the free washer/dryer and breakfast were very well appreciated. Beds were comfortable. Area is quiet. We loved it!

I truly feel the Dandy Hotel is my home away from home. I cannot fault the facilities or the staff and there is nothing I would change. If I was able to give 6 stars I would. On the front desk is Kim who always welcomed me with a genuine smile and friendly talk. This trip I had an issue with my back and Kim went out of her way to help me firstly by assisting me to get a massage over the road, preparing some heat patches for me and even going to the trouble of making up a stretching exercise chart for me. In the kitchen the wonderful Ting always looked after me and treated me like a true friend. For these reasons I have no hesitation in recommending the TianJin Dandy hotel to everyone who wants to experience true Taiwanese hospitality

I booked 2 of the business room. The rooms are alright in size. The business rooms are in the back so the window is a lightwell which I didn't have a problem with. The bed was good with nice bedding. TV selection was good and had ability to connect to Netflix etc. There was an aircleaner in the room which is appreciated. Room slippers provided. Hot water was abundant. Toilet worked well without issue. Shampoo and Conditioner available. The breakfast was great - there was something for everyone. Microwave, coffee, etc available at the breakfast area throughout the day. Free noodles at night was nice too! The hotel is close to Mitsukoshi Malls and a few minutes from the MRT station which is the same line as Taipei Main Station. Great location to get around Taipei. All the staff from front desk, housekeeping and breakfast were nice and accommodating. Would definitely book again.

Booked this through Agoda. As soon as booking is confirmed, there was prompt communication from the hotel regarding my stay and answering my questions. Check in was fast, and front desk was very helpful to help me contact my activity tour agency. King room with balcony was very spacious, the view from the balcony was not inviting though as we faced some old run down dirty looking building opposite. Room was clean, with 2 bottles of mineral water and mini sodas provided. The standard pillows were not really comfortable for me so they gave me memory foam pillows instead. We could hear a little noise coming from other room during the night but mostly quiet. The free cookies, evening cup noodles, snacks and dessert provided by the hotel were a bonus. I especially love the variety of loose tea leaves for guests to make their own tea bag, and there was information on the effect of each type of tea leave, that was really thoughtful. Breakfast was not bad, I like the salad bar that has some nice healthy greens and nuts. All the hotel staffs are really nice and friendly. Hotel is located near Zhongshan MRT station less than 10mins walk, and big shopping malls and plenty of convenient stores nearby.

This is a 3-star hotel that comes with 5-star customer service! The staff at the check-in counter double up as a concierge and treat all their guests with esteemed services. Breakfast is free and served between 7am to 10am. Every day comes with different dishes for varieties. Weekends come with extra desserts. At 8 pm nightly, there is a variety of cup noodles for free 😍. Wifi speed and coverage are both excellent. Our room comes with an additional wifi extender to ensure internet experience is exceptional. We booked the larger room with a balcony, and it's very spacious. The toilet is affixed with a bidet. Shower water pressure is superb even on the highest floor. Our first night wasn't great because our pillows were too flat. When the hotel staff learned about this, they offered us memory foam pillows, and the next few nights were fantastic. Their care and attention to detail on check-in, dining, inquiry, airport transfers, etc, are all commendable. I've never rated a hotel stay so highly, but this Dandy Hotel is definitely top rated in my decades of travel globally. 🤩

This boutique hotel is beyond my expectations-walking distance to zhongshan stn, many eateries right outside the hotel including the popular Chin Huajiao hotpot. Friendly staff, cozy decor, amazing free breakfast with around 60% daily change of menu. Tables are limited at dining area. |There are even daily afternoon snacks provided at 2pm and evening snacks from 8pm which includes cup noodles, desserts etc..we had grass jelly with pearls on 1 of the nights, so cool!||Our room is spacious, even with 2 24" luggages opened up on the floor and a huge king size bed, there's still ample walking space. Vanity top is huge, no toothbrushes or combs are provided. A dehumidifier is provided, comfy bed with a firm and a soft pillow for each guest. Housekeeping standard is good. Really cant find fault with anything. Probably the only nitpick i can highlight is the limited number of sockets. Minor issue really..this is a 3 star hotel with 5 star experience, highly recommended!

Warmly welcomed and helped from start to finish of our time spent in Taiwan by all at the Dandy Hotel, especially Kim. She listened for our interests and very kindly offered us a map and print outs with her recommendations for attractions around the Maokong area and more! She helped us find a bakery for a specialty Taiwanese cake that my husband loves. Thank you, Kim, for your kind hospitality! ||The rooms at the charming Dandy Hotel are very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. Its location by Zhongshan station was a big plus, too!
