I don’t normally give 5 star reviews, but WOW, this was a great experience. The boat was smaller and had a more intimate crowd - exactly what we wanted (we didn’t want to be on an overcrowded tourist boat with a ton of people and music blasting over speakers). The crew was so kind and sociable and everything was so professionally done. As an added bonus, during our kayaking excursion, our guide saved a bird that had been tangled in fishing line. We were so moved by that. We would HIGHLY recommend danger.

Google
We booked this trip online and we're a little unsure how awesome it would have been, we were with 20 other folks plus the 3 crew members, it was perfect group size, the kayaking was challenging and fun, we had an epic battle with the low tide and some people did NOT make it to the end, that was actually kinda cool in my book because it was challenging. Snorkeling was pretty epic, the tides had diminished visibility but we still had a great time. The drinks and food were way above what I had expected and the service was excellent. Captain Joe and his crew were so much fun and they were knowledgeable and we felt 100% taken care of. Will for sure visit again.

Google
We went on the sunset kayaking and snorkeling cruise. The crew was very knowledgeable and professional. The snacks were healthy and yummy. The boat was beautiful. The actual kayaking through mangroves was a very unique experience and the snorkeling/swimming was so much fun. Customers were not pressured to do any part of the tour they didn’t want to, there was always options!

A Must-Do Experience in Key West! We had an unforgettable day with Danger Charters! From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew made us feel welcomed, safe, and excited for the adventure ahead. The sail itself was smooth and scenic, offering incredible views of the turquoise waters and surrounding islands. The kayaking and snorkeling portions were the perfect mix of relaxation and exploration. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, pointing out wildlife and sharing cool facts about the local ecosystem. Equipment was top-notch, and everything was well-organized from start to finish. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, plenty of cold drinks, delicious snacks, and clean onboard restrooms made the experience even more comfortable. Whether you’re a nature lover, a first-time snorkeler, or just looking to relax and soak in the beauty of Key West, this trip is 100% worth it. Highly recommend booking with Danger Charters as they deliver an authentic, laid-back Keys experience you’ll be talking about long after your vacation ends.

Google
A great day on the water on a classic schooner. Captain Mary was a highly capable woman and handled the boat expertly. The crew, Dags and Hunter, were very skilled and very knowledgeable of the history and fun facts about Key West. We sailed and snorkeled the reef; ate and drank; then kayaked in the Mangroves on Mule Key. A full and wonderful day. Thank you Danger, and thank you crew. We would definitely recommend this trip for anyone seeking a more personal boat experience.

Google
This was one of my favorite things that we did while visiting Key West. It was my first time snorkeling and I had a great time, a little scary at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's very worthwhile. I enjoyed the time around the mangroves and all the birds! Snacks were nice and so was the crew. Captain Matt, Maria, and Hunter all made the experience fun and I felt like I was in good hands! Thanks Captain Matt for the great ride!

Google
Amazing trip! The crew was so kind and knowledgeable and helpful. We saw so much wildlife I've never seen outside of an aquarium before! And my mom actually snorkeled some in the water with some encouragement! Beautiful sunset. Great small group atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend!

Google
Booked the snorkel, kayak & sunset tour…well worth every penny! Captain Janet, plus Jack and Aleah, were excellent guides and so friendly and accommodating. Saw dolphins, turtles, snapper, eel, lobster, crabs, and more. Delicious drinks and snacks were provided: fresh fruit, chips, salsa, hummus, water (regular & flavored), sodas, beer and wine. Will book again with Danger Charters, no question, if back in Key West. Thanks for an amazing afternoon in the water!

Yelp
Today we were blessed to have Mary and Lexi. They were a great team and Lexi definitely worked her tail off. Both of them were very professional and seemed to enjoy having conversations with the guest. Although it stormed in the middle of the trip, they did not skip a beat. Great TEAM! Thank you again for making our trip memorabl. Scott and Holly

Yelp
So my wife booked the afternoon snorkel and kayak and home at sunset. 330 to 8pm ish on the Danger, we got in a little after 830pm due to navigating around low water. Captain Joe and hands Jack and Rocky....did not disappoint. I will say...full moon tomorrow and low tide...DANG it was low....and the worked harder and more time to get us the trip they promised. So don't fret low tide, they get it done either way, just a little more navigation effort. I have to say, I felt a little uncomfortable being waited on so much...just not used to it. The crew was constantly checking on everyone, for water, or adult drinks. They had fresh fruit out before we went snorkeling for the ride.....and on the way back after kayaking humus and chips. They feel like guys we'd be friends with, and not used to having friends wait on us hand and foot, ha. The ride out, always amazes me how much they know and tell you about the habitat...and mid sentence Jack would say "Oh, and there's a large Sea Turtle" We'd all ooh and ahh...and right back into the history of the park. So cool, and well done. My kids, even older, just amazed to see those turtles. I'm a certified diver and dove all over the world, and the snorkeling was still fun. My wife and daughter aren't used to it, and they were patient with them and everyone on the boat. Rocky went farther off the boat to see more of the coral and sea life...and my son (in the Army Infantry but loves water ha) was with him and saw it all. The Kayaking, a couple wanted to go all the way back and get their camera, and the guides were patient and went with for safety, all good. Again, with low tide there was navigating to be done, but they got us in on the island, and a tunnel area of deeper water...again they spotted a sea turtle for us. My daughter and I in our Kayak got a great view. I would recommend Polarized Glasses, you absolutely need them to see through the glare on the water in my opinion. The ride back was awesome, great music and adult drinks for the older....and the sunset, as you can see, was perfect. Got one pic with Captain Joe too, ha. Just have to say thanks, and if you're looking for a great outing on the water, this group is 100% top notch.

Yelp
We went on the sunset cruise on 01.06.25. The crew was made up of Captain John, Micah, and Brooke. They presented five or six different types of wine paired with the same amount of light bites. The wines ranged from white to red, dry to sweet, flat to slightly bubbly. The countries of origin also varied nicely. This was an unforgettable experience. The crew excelled at customer service and engagement, and did their best to make sure everyone was having a great time. After some initial chop, we made it out to smooth waters and one of the best parts of our Florida trip. We would book another cruise with them in a heartbeat and recommend this cruise company to anyone looking for a fabulous Key West experience.

Yelp
Danger Charters were perfect, with no fuss and no muss. Simply booked trip, arrived, and pretty much on our way. We went with the snorkeling and kayaking in an all day tour and it was just right. The ship was just right and spacious even with a full complement. Nice to get on the water just with sails, that quiet is special. Crew Katie and Connor and the captain (think it was joe) and training captain Noah handled everything and most importantly were very safety concerned. The simple lunch and drinks and snacks were good and what was expected. Would look to book with them again if we are down in the keys.

Yelp
We did the sunset private cruise out of Oceans Edge resort. We wanted to do something a little different. Evan was a great captain - we had an awesome cruise and sunset!

Yelp
We booked a Charter a few years ago, great time and fun adventure. The crew was top notch, attentive to everyone and their needs. The experience was so memorable. Afterwards we were searching for a DC recommended sandwich shop and knocked on the door of the DC office and saw a different side to the crew, who asked us in expletives to move on. Last week in KW we walked into the shop to see about a charter and the associate was not the person to be representing DC. He was clearly irritated and negative, zip for personality. We found a better adventure elsewhere.

Yelp
Staff were great, friendly and attentive. The sailing was enjoyable at sunset and they provided 8 wine varieties to sample. If you didn't want a red or a white, they offered your drink of choice instead. Nice and relaxing way to close the day.
google avatar

Yelp
Fabulous sail at sunset. Captain Luke, Sav and Franc are the best at making sure everyone has a beautiful ride Do this! You'll love it!

Yelp
Had an absolutely amazing time on this tour with Bronza & Lexi. Shout out to them for making this experience so worth it. We did a sailboat tour out to Gulf of America (Mexico), kayaked the Mangrove Island & snorkeled. The tour came with beer, wine, sodas, water and some fresh cut fruit & salsa! It was a windy day so perf for sailing but not so much for the kayaking and snorkeling to see marine life. Lexi was super knowledgeable and was great at teaching us more about the Keys / Islands. I would highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Keys!!
google avatar

Erin H.

Yelp
The thoughtful and personable crew ensured that we were comfortable at all times with drinks, lunch, and snacks. I enjoyed the shpiel about local ecology and history. Our trip included snorkeling and kayaking in calm waters where we found some small sharks, a turtle, a snake, a couple sting rays, frigates, ospreys, and a pelican who watched us with suspicion. It was all around a highly enjoyable day on the water!

Yelp
Staff was great, experience was awesome, good price for what you get. Wine, snacks, views, what more could you want!

Lillian A.

Yelp
Spent the day with Captain Luke and Morgan and had an awesome time. We were offered a variety of snacks and food that kept my 15 year old son going back for more. Spent time with us explaining the history of the smaller islands prior to snorkeling and kayaking. We will definitely come back and use Danger Charters.
google avatar

Rebecca B.

Yelp
This was our second wind and wine sunset sail with danger charters and it was incredible. Everyone in our group had the best time. Captain Logan and crew Savannah and Morgan were the sweetest and kept our cups filled with delicious wine! Highlight of our Key West weekend.

jennifer r.

Yelp
The captain and crew were very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. We also learned a lot about the mangroves on Mule Key. It was a great way to spend about half a day.
google avatar

Yelp
JOE and ANNA were great. Went out Monday Dec 9th with my wife and 11 year old daughter. Just west of the island. Maybe 8-10 of us onboard one of their sail boats. The snorkeling was fine. Id recommend the reef over the sponge gardens . Apparently visibility was not good on the Reef that day so the sponge gardens did just fine. We were offered fresh fruit on the cruise on out to go snorkel. After snorkeling some adult beverages were offered . We then went on to a mangrove structure/island. Not truly an island because there is no ground. Just a large root system like avatar where all the mangroves connect together in its own unique lil eco system. AnnA was knowledgeable about the animal kingdom the different species and class of birds fish lizards ect. Had some chips salsa and hummus on the ride home. Met some cool folks on the boat as well. Go check em Out

Yelp
The sailing sunset cruise was unbelievable. Great service from Captain Tony and his crew, and incredible views of Key West. Highly recommend, and we will be back!

Chuck B.

Yelp
My wife and I did a snorkeling, kayak and sunset sail whole in Key West. The crew of Logan, Anna & Jack were amazing guides and historians. Top notch experience.

Yelp
The sunset cruise with Captain Tony (the person and not the bar) and Lexi was the highlight of our trip. The two hour trip was relaxing and gave us a chance to see a spectacular sunset on the water. The small number aboard allowed everyone to interact and the wines served in the tastings and the hor d'ouevres was just right. This is a definite contrast to some of the other louder and more crowded tours we saw departing and on the water. We certainly didn't feel rushed or hurried. This is a definite must!

Yelp
Disappointing experience but a friendly staff. We did the full day water, snorkel & kayak excursion which set off at 10 am and docked at 4 pm. The staff were friendly and engaging which made the trip fun but you spend about 4 hours on the boat. You snorkel in one area and kayak in another area, both about an hour each. We expected that since we'd be on the boat for 6 hours that we'd at least spend more than half of the time on the waters, with multiple snorkel locations. We also didn't go to an island with a beach or a sandbar even though the weather was perfect. Here's the itinerary, since it doesn't detail it too well on their website: Set off at 10 am for 1.5 hours. Snorkel for 1.25 hours. Eat lunch and continue sailing for 1.25 hours. Kayak for 1 hour. Then sail back for an hour. The one area we did snorkel in was nice with clear waters. It was easy to swim and see some wildlife. The food was a sandwich spread of tuna, chicken, along with some cold pasta.

Yelp
Excellent!! Highly recommend. We did the sailboat 4 hour charter with snorkeling and Kayak. Luke and Connor were the BEST! First timers for snorkeling and kayaking and they were great with instructions and patience!! Boat was very clean with restroom. They provided drinks and snacks. Exceeded expectations!!!

Christina A.

Yelp
FANTASTIC! Captain Mary and First Mate Maria did not disappoint! We had a great time sailing, snorkeling, and kayaking with Danger Charters. Highly recommend and will be joining them again next time we are in Key West. Thank you ladies!!!!

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful Sunset wine tasting cruise! Delicious snacks paired beautifully with the wine. And if you're not a wine lover, they had beer. And if you don't drink alcohol, they had sodas and water. They have got you covered! Staff were professional, friendly, and engaging. Communication before the sail was consistent and helpful - right down to exact instructions to find their store in a busy downtown pier area of Key West. And people, get there when they tell you to so you can check-in and not hold the boat up. There is a lovely pier to walk around and shops to check out, and even drinks being sold close by if you want to start early. If you are a solo traveler, like me, do not be deterred. This was a great evening with many people to talk to if you choose. FYI - if you are lactose intolerant, most of the snacks include cheese. Also, if you're not staying in Key West, know your drinking limits and drink plenty of water. I pre-purchased their wine tumbler and I am happy I did. I heard others on the boat asking if they could buy one. All-in-all, it's a beautiful evening out and I would definitely go again!

Yelp
Above and beyond fun!!! Captain Logan, Mate Danny and Francisco aka Frankie rocked it!!! What better way to spend the day in key way than on the water on a Danger charter!!! Always my when favorite when I come to town thank you guys so much!

Yelp
A very fun trip with Rose and Branza. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend. Plenty of drinks and amazing salsa and Hummas. Rose and Branza work so well together.
google avatar

Yelp
I highly recommend this place if you're planning a trip to Key West and want to enjoy some outdoor activities. We tried kayaking, snorkeling, and a sunset sail, and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and provided food and beverages

Yelp
Danger Charters was amazing!! I chartered a group of 22 people for my birthday and they made the experience amazing! The crew was fun and accommodating! We had snacks, drinks, kayaking, etc! Even in inclement weather, it was a blast! Sean, Gannon, and Branza were the best! Definitely ask for them on your next charter with Danger!

Neil M.

Yelp
Been on the wine and sunset cruise twice in four years and they do not disappoint. Lexi and Captain Tony were great-but Tony wouldn't let me drive the boat! I will never come back to Key West and not include a trip out with these guys!
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
Joe and Connor made our day fantastic! We watched the powerboat races (11/8/2024), and they could not have been more attentive to us! It was a great day, and we will continue to use Danger for our excursions. We have also done kayak/snorkeling trips and sunset cruises. This is a first-rate charter company and the entire team is phenomenal! You have to try it!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We did a Sunset Cruise with this outfit. Captain Branza and crew took one of the two sail boats that night holding about 36 passengers. The seating was right for the amount and the ship was in great shape including the condition of the sails. The crew were excellent not only in making sure each passenger was attended to for their beverage of choice but making sure each person enjoyed the night. They presented a full range of beverages including 5-6 whites and 5-6 reds either for a complete tasting menu or you could indulge in one specific wine for the evening. Along with the wide range of wines the had several beers and soft Duley is including sparkling water and flat water. Along with the beverage selection was about 7 different plates of appetizers that were skewers of different cheeses paired with items like grapes, olives, tomatoes and more. The selections were all different and the cheeses were never the same. Overall the presentation and selection was far better than my expectations were and the interaction with the crew was very good. They were true professionals in their duties for the trip and deserve the 5 star rating Did I mention the dolphins that toyed with us for most the night?

Yelp
Signed up for this sunset cruise and so glad we did. Staff was professional and the wines were very tasty. Helmsman Bronsa was great to talk to and shared great info about the keys and his life in general. Lindsey and Rose were awesome as well. They made our finger food and poured the wine. Really nice. Wish I would have taken some photos of the food. It was delicious and just right with the wine and the sunset. Definitely recommend this team!
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
This is a must do excursion in Key West! We booked the trip that includes kayaking, snorkeling, lunch, and two snacks. The crew was extremely attentive, great storytellers, and always made sure we were happy. This is such a great value to be able to do three activities in one outing. Plus, it was a nice small group.
google avatar

Gil G.

Yelp
What a delightful experience. The highlight of our vacation in Key West. We took an all-day excursion with Bronza (captain), Ellen, and Veekash. They were a terrific blend of professionalism and enjoyment. We really enjoyed hearing their stories and educational explanations. The kayaking around and through the mangrove "island" was awesome. We also enjoyed the snorkeling experience. One thing they did well was to give each snorkeler a "pool float" to make it easier to manage the floating process so you could concentrate on seeing the reef and fish. Nice touch! Bottom line? Highly recommended. Compared to what we heard about other operators, our experience was notably above average.

Caitlin C.

Yelp
Wonderful charter. The crew was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and overall super friendly. Great experience!

Yelp
If your in Key West and trying to decide which tour group to book your sunset cruise with you can stop looking, pick Danger Charters! You won't be disappointed. The crew was absolutely amazing, they were so friendly and very attentive to your wine glass, making sure it was never empty! Now with that being said, you may want to grab a little snack before boarding, although they do serve light appetizers the ratio of food to wine is minimal on the appetizer side. If your not a wine drinker they also offer beer as well so don't let that deter you from booking with this company. I think my favorite part is they only allow 20ish people on one cruise at a time so it's not over crowded, allowing you to still get that intimate feeling. And as the pictures show we had an incredible evening watching the sunset!

Crystal M.

Yelp
Great experience! The crew was fun and helpful- shout out to Brooke. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was the first experience we booked for our trip to Key West. I booked based on the astonishing number of immaculate reviews and was not disappointed! Blown away by the crew and their care for the patrons experience. We booked a half-day excursion to sail, kayak, snorkel, and drink. The crew started our sail with an amazing history lesson monologue that was so interesting and informative. The crew member that presented the history as a born-and-raised key westerner so that made it even more special. After we were anchored we began the kayak tour into a mangrove island. The wildlife and bird watching was amazing! We were even able to see a shark. Next on the tour was the snorkeling (my favorite!!!). Such a cool experience. Visibility was not amazing BUT I got to observe a nurse shark for over five minutes!! One of the coolest experiences ever!! After the snorkeling adventure we got a front-row seat to the power boat races in the key west marina. The races ran late but it was so cool!! Luxury racing boats and helicopters following the whole thing, what could be cooler?! The crew was very accommodating and was apologetic that we were running late but everyone was loving it!! Want to give a shout out to Rose, Gannon and The Key Westerner. Y'all made this experience the best of the best. Thank you!!

Eric H.

Yelp
I went out on the kayaking/snorkeling 6hr trip and it was awesome! Dani, Gannon, and Logan are the dream team--such a fun group of people. Having the drinks and food on the water was nice. I especially loved the snorkeling. Got to hold a sea slug!

Lindsey K.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the wind and wine sunset cruise. They include 8 wine samples and plenty of snacks. The views are incredible. Staff on board are knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely repeat this experience.

Yelp
Perfect sunset cruise. Great staff. Beautiful sail boat. Nice selection of wines and gluten free appetizers

Yelp
This was an absolutely most awesome experience during our time in Key West. I think it was the stand out event for my wife and I. The best place to park for Danger Charters is at the Opal Key Resort Parking Deck. Again, it's covered and keeps your car cooler and it's only five dollars per hour. I would plan on checking in with the Danger Charters about 30 minutes prior to meeting the captain out front. They will give you a card that will assign you to a captain and a schooner. Our captain was Captain Tony, and he was absolutely superlative. The entire crew brought a lot to the trip and they worked so well together. The boat is more smaller and intimate which we liked. Brad and Morgan, who assisted captain Tony with the cruise were absolutely awesome. Very engaging. In interacting with our small group. Very friendly and outgoing. The most important part of our cruise experience was the people with us and the personalities and engagement of the crew. They were simply amazing, memorable, and made it an A+ plus experience. The hors d'oeuvres were great. There were seven varietals of wines shared with the group and introduced by Morgan. Also available were local IPA beers. Great stuff. Even though it was a bit overcast throughout the day, the sunset was still amazing. No green flash this time. Hopefully next time!

Yelp
One of our favorite experiences in the Florida Keys, complete with a breathtaking sunset, snorkeling in crystal-blue water, a guided kayak tour through a nature preserve, and an amazing crew who ensured our family made memories for a lifetime. From the moment we left the dock in Key West, the Danger Charter crew provided everything we needed for an unforgettable evening cruise, from beer and wine for the adults, to snacks and smiles for the younger passengers. Their extensive knowledge of local wildlife, tidal patterns and the Keys' fascinating history made every moment of the cruise entertaining, particularly when we broke out into smaller groups to kayak the reef and a pair of small islands. Our kids (usually skeptical about being trapped for 4 hours anywhere without electronics or a TV) had a blast, despite some early struggles with their snorkel gear. But the crew was extraordinarily helpful throughout, taking time to show my son how to properly wear his dive mask while also pointing out the amazing creatures that skittered across the sea floor. And the sailboat itself was magnificent -- clean and well-maintained, with more than enough deck space for the crew and passengers to stretch out comfortably. No visit to the Keys is complete without some time on the incomparable Caribbean waters, and a sunset cruise with Danger Charters is one of the best ways to experience this incredible part of the American landscape. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Yelp
Wonderful day with Captain Mary and mate Anna in Danger Charters. Could not have asked for more. Had 5 adults and 4 kids ages 12, 11, 10 and 8. Was perfect for their skill level. Been coming to Key West for over 25 years and taken many trips and this was among the best.
google avatar

Chi B.

Yelp
The sunset wine and wind cruise was our highlight of Key West (I am glad they also had craft beer). The appetizers were amazing, and so carefully prepared. The crew was so friendly and accommodating, it really felt like we we received a 1st class VIP treatment. This trip is an absolute must!
google avatar

Diana E.

Yelp
This was amazing! I would take this sunset cruise again and again and again... This is for the Wind and Wine. We already plan on returning with the in-laws. Great sailboat! Great crew! Great wine tasting! I personally enjoyed this better as its more intimate and I'm not a fan of the louder band playing music. The tunes they were playing low were great in setting the mood. Worth the price. Perfect for ending your day. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We picked Danger Charters for the sail boat experience when we wanted to go snorkel in Key West. Best decision! Purchased tickets in advance online, and check-in was quick and efficient. Since it was such a hot day, Captain Matthew quickly got everyone on board and set sail. Sailed out to Mule Key for kayak excursion. Niko was very knowledgeable about the history, wildlife and vegetation. Lasted about 45 minutes and then we sailed to our snorkel spot. Water visibility was amazing and I was intrigued to see how sponges grow. I got lucky and spotted a Giant grouper, Lionfish and a Morey Eel. Once back onboard , Erin kept the snacks and drinks flowing. Captain Matthew set a slow course for us to enjoy the sunset. Best day ever!!! Shouts out to the knowledge, safe and fun crew!!! You guys were awesome and we love this adventure. Thank you!

Yelp
Danger Charter's sailboat excursions are awesome. The full day, (6.5 hours) was one of the high points in our visit to Key West. It was a peaceful sailing, snacks, lunch and beverages were much better than what what you get on other excursions. The food was REALLY good. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. You cannot go wrong picking Danger Charters. Its first class.

Yelp
Wonderful sunset/wine cruise on Schooner. Not a party boat, limited to I believe 16 people, no children. They had a family type sunset cruise (no alcohol), and a "party boat" if that is your desire. We wanted something different and got it. Nice to be on a schooner rig, not a big, crowded Cat. Great service, nice selection of wines, a short discussion about each, enough hours d'oeuvres to make dinner out of, mostly cheese sticks with fruit, veggie or summer sausage but all delightful and continually passed around. The mozzarella de buffalo w/balsamic demi glaze our FAV! Crew kept it carefree yet professional. Most enjoyable thing we did over 4 days. Highly recommend Danger Charters.
