Danhostel Aalborg

This hostel charges significant extra for bedsheets despite the price of a room being well above what one would expect for it to be complimentary. This was not made clear enough before booking and booking was not refundable.

There are a lot of students here, so it's expected that the kitchen and the bathroom facilities for the huts are dirty, but sometimes it's just too much. There's also nothing provided, what so ever, even for the gas stove, there's no lighter or matches. There's no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands with. One of the employers were also a bit rude at one time, but the others are generally nice. I'd not recommend this place at all, but maybe it's better when it's not full of students.

The bathrooms and showers are so dirty that we choose not to use them. Looks like it was not cleaned for a long time. The cabins smells and are dirty. We orderd linning package and they where dirty also. We sleept with our clotes on. Could not get out of there fast enought!!!

Extremely unprofessional staff. The manager in particular. If they make mistakes it’s your fault. And they’ll let you know, without a doubt.

It was really a terrible stay at BBBB hostel Aalborg for me because of burglary event happened with me. My room was on ground floor, it was early morning time (22.10.2016) around 6:30 a.m, I woke up and went to toilet. During this 5-10 minutes of toilet time some one came by opening the windows with some tools by damaging the hook of the window. When I was free from toilet and my every valuable things (My laptop, my mobile, my hand carry, cash money, travel documents, passport, identity cards, bank cards, etc) were stolen. I reported also to the police. Hotel management was too bad that they were not even giving me some Dannish korna until I borrow from some friends. Due to this mishap, I had to leave 2 days earlier from the hostel room. I am doubtful that in this event hotel management may be involved directly or indirectly. I will never suggest you to live in this hostel but I request travel agencies to kindly make this hostel in black list as soon as possible. Otherwise, any one else can also be deceived like me. If you want proof of this event I can provide you the police report also so do not hesitate to contact me.

The breakfast was medium.||The room was medium.||The bathroom was good...||But it is big negative that the common room was closed after 22.00. So I can't recomend this place if this is in any way important.

ONE BIG GRUNGE, KITCHEN LOOKS LIKE barn. i would never cook something here. Never stay here
