Danhostel Hillerød

Danshostel is the worse place ever, poor service, low quality of food and unpleasant employees. The location is very far from station and not comfortable for anything

This hostel is in amazing location. I really love this location. Its very quiet and clean. This is located outskirts of Hillerød. Spacious parking available, staffs are very professional and friendly. Cleanliness is the main attractive thing here. Recommended this location if you want to escape from city and have some comfortable stay in between the nature.

Nice structure surrounded by quiet trails. It's in good condition and has a playground, board games, ping-pong (but on the second day all the balls were broken!), TV and many others. We were unable to call them in advance (we were on hold for long time) and we ended up without linens and towels due to a mistake in the reservation. Unfortunately the reception is unmanned for long periods of time, making it impossible to fix problems.

As accommodation so expensive while travelling around Denmark decided to try this hostel. Wow! It's in a lovely peaceful setting, surrounded by woods. Room simple but nice. Beds comfy. Whole place spotless. Really clean. Breakfast is good. You could easily hang out here with friends or family. Kids could run around. Outdoor things to do. We tried the zip line!! We cooked a dinner. Only disappointment was kitchen a bit grim ( in basement) but we ate our food upstairs in nicer area. Also we couldn't find a corkscrew!! Tip for hostelling: buy screw-capped wine!!😁😁 After this experience we have stayed in more hostels when we can as standards are high in Denmark. Still not cheap, cheap - as you pay extra for bedding and breakfast - but very good value comparatively.

I stayed there on my very first visit to Denmark. It is a very nice hostel with all the right services. It has it all. The rooms are spacious enough, with bathrooms included. A basement for family time and games, sitting areas, self service kitchens and even a discotheque. Its really nice and the food is lovely! so are the staff.

I thought this place was great and I think it needs to said I had a fantastic time here. It was only 1 night but located in a quiet part of town near a Lidl store through the woods I went. The property was well kept and alot of activities to do had I stayed longer. I also hiked from Fredericksborg Palace to here so it was a great walk through the town.||There is an easy access bus route to here as well.

Horrible experience. When we arrived they werent anyone at the reception and there were not any envelope with the keys for my room. Luckily one guy helped us and gave us a room.This room was already booked for someone else,in the middle of the night at 01:50,someone entered our room while we were sleepping,they got the same room as us.After 30 min they decided to leace and call responsible.Inthe morning during check out the staff couldnt even offer anything such as an apologise

Pretty much all you might want from hostel accommodation. The room was big and clean (we had a family room for 4 with bathroom), even had its own outside bit. Adequate kitchen, near the game rooms where the kids could play table football, table tennis etc while we cooked. Very nice outside facilities with tables and playground. Good breakfast too. Would definitely go again
