Great hostel, we were a family of 4 and stayed for 4 nights, friendly staff, good to have access to the kitchen facilities to prepare own food, it could do with some more cups and glasses, but plenty of crockery and cooking utensils and good ovens. Overall very clean and great outdoor space to relax. Breakfast was OK, typical Danish buffet style. Only downside of our stay was that the hostel didn't have a washing machine. if you arriving by train get off at Frederikshavnsvej St as it is nearer to the hostel. Bike rental from CykelUdlejning also recommended

I want to tell you all how nice this place is.. Many times you tell yourself, "oh well you get what you pay for", in a bad way.. But in this case it's in a really good way. It's clean, well taken care off and located near the Centre of Skagen... Outside you have a basketball court. And some climbing things for kids. We sat outside on one of the many camping tables and drank some beer, which you can buy in a vending machine just inside, and played cards... The room hade 4 possible beds. Two were on the floor and two were attached to the wall... And a fifth bed were under the first so you could make a kingbed... |Breakfast was amazing, only 60DKK. |All in all a place that felt fresh and welcoming.. CHECKING IN IS ONLY POSSIBLE BETWEEN 16.00 AND 17.00, if nothing else is stated.

We had a family room with a private bathroom. Rooms are quite spacious for a hostel, and it is very clean. Beds are reasonably comfortable for bunk beds. We were on the ground floor, and as it was very hot, I would have liked some kind of security device on the windows, so that it were possible to let some air in at night without leaving it completely open for everyone who wished to climb over the sill. Breakfast is extra. Nothing fancy, but good and not too expensive. shared kitchen very basic. linens are extra, too. Area is very quiet, and we slept well.

Hotel is a good walk outside the center. 800 dkk for one night. We were told there were two single bed we could together per not (they called me, because they made a payment error). Also shown in photos. Not in Skagen. Bunk beds in the room. Bad information, faulty moral.||Check in in between 16 and 17. Boom. ||Breakfast is continental. Never ever seen so many staff people going in and out with little food in (a tray of Salami) and when going back into the kitchen picking up used service from guests, then coming back with another little tray. Also they allowed a guest with a baby into the kitchen. I wouldn't relay on it being safe despite their efforts.||800 DKK for 2 in a supposed twin room where you bring your own bedding and towels, intended safe breakfast ... Nah. Never again.

We had 2 family rooms (4+4 beds) and found them clean and well-functioning, just what we needed. Breakfast wasn't luxurious, but we didn't want that either.. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hostel was close to everywhere we wanted to visit.

This is a good, basic place to stay if you're visiting Skagen on a budget. Rooms are clean and well equipped, with everything you require for a good night's rest. The accommodation is simple, so adjust your expectations accordingly. Breakfast was excellent.
