15 Best U.S. Airports for Finding Cheap Flights

The Honolulu airport is just amazing. It is extremely big, clean and well maintained. I really love the fact that they grow flowers and palm trees around the airport. The green vegetation around it makes it stand out to me. The staff were amazing and they were extremely helpful with information. A big appreciation to all the staff working hard to maintain this airport. There are sections where you can easily get public transportation or car rental services just in front.

Google
This is one of my favorite airports. It's adorable! Gift shops are reasonably priced and have great things. Decor is meaningful and beautiful. The seating is cool. The best thing about this airport is how the weather feels when you walk outside whether you come from somewhere very hot or very cold...it's perfect here haha! They have a shuttle between airports called the wiki but it's nice to walk with beautiful weather after a long flight. Everyone who works at the airport is friendly.

Google
This airport is not as modern as the other airports but when it comes to seats, I’d choose the seats here. They are more comfortable to sit on compared to the hard seats of the other airports. Massage chairs are available for a starting fee of $2 for a 7-minute massage. Since it is my port of entry, I had to endure the long queue to the immigration officer. Once there, it was a quick interview: how long I stayed outside of the US, whether I have $10,000 or more in my possession, total cost of my luggage, how many luggage. This was followed by a photoshoot. From there, I was directed to go to Lobby 8 (United Airlines) where there was a USDA inspection of the luggage. Once cleared, I proceeded to UA’s Bag Drop counter. Then off to my departure gate which is a long walk. I should have taken the wiki-wiki shuttle had I known it is quite distant. I liked the long trek though because the connecting pathway had a cool breeze. On my way to G3, I saw the phone booth which is commemorated to Daniel Inouye. Interesting historical piece! I came across some food outlets and shops. In the Flower Shop, I bought a pack of okra seeds and a pack of air plant. Hopefully they’ll grow as a souvenir of my 11-hour layover here.

Google
Very big airport, go at least 2-3 hours before the flight. TSA lines can be very painfully long. It's very old design airport, lounges are hard to find, don't be surprised if you end up going out in the event of finding them. One lounge with Priority Pass is very lame, they only have soda, 🥤 and seating area. Other lounges are also at the same level.

Google
Absolute biggest complaint is having a "wiki shuttle" that doesn't clearly say what it's for or anything. Traveling from Kauai to Seattle we had to change planes BUT our next plane was in some other wing of the airport. I'm a disabled vet and my wife has Stage 4 cacer, this airport about had an issue when all it would take is for the "wiki shuttle" sign to have more info, oh say like where it goes. I never would have thought to go the wrong way to catch a shuttle that'll trave the 1/4 mile the other posted informatio, a map something. The fact the wiki shuttle sign and the C gate signs are 8 feet apart real doesn't help a traveler to make the assumption the shuttle has anything to do with those gates. We asked a passing golf cart (with enough seats for a damn part) for a ride but was told no (wtf are they driving around for?) This is the first airport that ive been to that has courtesy vehicles but doest use them. We know no to never do a transfer at this airport because this experience was absolutely ridiculous. How did we learn about this shuttle?...we saw people that got off the plane after us already waiting at the gate we walked all the way to, we asked how the got there so fast.....no kidding this is what the lady said "we took the wiki shuttle here, unfortunately first time people here don't know to use it because the signs are awful, nothing tells you it comes here unless someone tells you." Turns out this is a known issue in my mind

Google
Very nice layout with plenty of shopping. We had very little issue coming and going thru the airport. Most employees would greet you on site and ask where you’re going. A very personal touch and gentle by most airport visits for my experience.

Google
Besides being in Hawaii with great in airport landscaping and the smell of tropical flowers wafing through the place, it is so exceptionally clean, and there is absolutely no waiting time to get through the checkpoints. Possibly one of my very favorite airports

Lauren (Rose)

Google
Nice open and airy airport! Wasn’t here long, in and out for me so didn’t get to walk around it much, but seemed nice.

Michael T.

Yelp
This is a love hate relationship. I love landing here because it means coming back to paradise to visit family but hate departures because it means coming back to reality and back to work. Love the new area it's so brightly lit now. The HA lounge could use some work though lol

Kenneth T.

Yelp
Probably one of the worst airport terminal I've been at recently. Got off Hawaiian airlines flight and needed to catch the airport shuttle to baggage claim but from a long wait to a non-functioning shuttle (which later on as we boarded onto another shuttle, this shuttle began to go first!!). And once we got to baggage claim, it wasn't the right one and even ground staff were confused - one said carousel 5-7, another said 9, and another said 11. Reality was it was at carousel 9. Considering that the main airline the terminal serve is Hawaiian Airlines, it seems pathetic to me that such is the overall service. Heard so much about the excellent Hawaiian spirit serve of both the airlines and airport, but this trip actually made me feel the spirit is gone as it was terrible for both. So no more Hawaiian airlines for us especially when we have other airlines available.

Cheol K.

Yelp
All Hawaiian airlines flights (except those going to Japan) depart from this Terminal. It's the furthest away from the rental car return center. You can take a shuttle back here or hike a mile back. No shuttles were coming so we lugged our bags all the way back here from the furthest end of the airport. Once we got there, it was a tight jumbled mess of check in areas. Unless you're elite, you self tags your bags. It was warm, humid, packed with a sea of humanity, and the instructions were not clear. Not much help or support from the Hawaiian Airlines check in staff either. Not the best of experiences, so hope to come back to try again on another day.

Yelp
Landed at Honolulu after a wait of 42 years!!! This international airport is the largest of all 15 in Hawaii ! From deplaning unto the terminal it seems an eternity of destination to reach the baggage claim area!! There are dining eateries as well as retail shops for shopping experience! As my return to the Mainland it didn't take a long walk to the gates from the security check in. I was able to purchase a face mask from HNL Style store .

Lloyd C.

Yelp
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Terminal 1 was so nice! I mean it's been renovated, covered and importantly it has A/C!!! The process was smoother than last time of standing in a long line to do the agricultural inspection and then go through the checkpoint. It was a breeze. Only a few places to eat like Dunkin Donuts, Kona Brewing Co, and Mauka Market so far.

Anna B.

Yelp
Nice airport. Not too big. Easy to navigate and find the baggage area. Clean restrooms.

Bubba Y.

Yelp
It's an airport, popular and busy, even on a Tuesday. But hey - they have fast-food poke here. Score!

Andrew W.

Yelp
A Nice airport in Hawaii! There are few gift stores there so if you happened to forget to buy any gifts there, there are many good stuffs still available at the airport.

Jamal C.

Yelp
Flying in and out of Daniel K Inouye International Airport is a breeze no matter where you're headed. The parking garages are conveniently located near the Airlines of your choice. There's several TSA checkpoints. I believe they have 4 checkpoints. There's 1 CLEAR checkpoint but only on the Hawaiian Airlines side. Once you get through TSA, you can grab a bite from Starbucks, Burger King, Pizza bar and grill or any side store. They have these radical 3 row ATV shuttles for those who need a lift. Everyone you meet is super friendly and hospitable. It's true Aloha at its Core.

Terrence Y.

Yelp
At least it's more modern and is great for inter-island travel. But it's far from everything else and a heck of a long walk to Terminal 2.

Carissa H.

Yelp
The precheck security check point was a breeze. The enclosed gate lounge was hot and the a/c needs to be turned up. Chairs are not equipped with charging units like metro US airports. There are charging hubs on the Hawaiian Air lounge but they require you to sit next to them or leave your device.

Irene M.

Yelp
Happy travels... Terminal one is the first area as soon as as you get off the airport freeway exit it's on the right and home to Hawaiian Airlines. As this is years after Covid so I was just clueless of the system and any changes to this area as it's been several years since my last visit. Using Vacations Hawaii they have a designated area all you got to look for is the purple sign or a VH staff that are just the most friendly and helpful as they now use Hawaiian versus a charter flight. There are self check in kiosk and is a very busy terminal with just one security check point and TSA on the other side. Our gate was in the deep boonies "C" so I got my cardio in and ready for my vacation. Thank you!

Fely S.

Yelp
It's okay. Not much to do, however this is the hub of Hawaii and it's going a renovations connecting the rail. There's also a new gates.

Jean-Luc L.

Yelp
Easy to navigate and all the airline staff was helpful and friendly. Very clean! The gift shops had some relevant items too if you needed last minute presents from your trip.

Lily M.

Yelp
9:30 am on a Saturday in January: Quick check-in for an international flight to Australia in terminal 1. Both regular security and pre-check lines were short and quick. Plumeria lounge was at capacity.

Jane S.

Yelp
So slow took over an hour to find a luggage and it was broken . Had to practically beg customer service for a duffel bag replacement and another one since this was a large suitcase. Disappointing, food closes early as well good luck finding any dinner options after 5pm

Thania M.

Yelp
Tuesday 8A. No traffic pulling in. Smooth through TSA. Lots of walking. They do offer shuttle. I opted to walk. No shops in gate area 1 & 2. Had to back track to shop. The did have a Dunkin Donuts in this section. Hawaiin Airlines is a bit confusing when calling zones. Make sure you're in the right line!!

Coco C.

Yelp
Why is it every time for departure is always so chaotic and so unorganized at this airport! Not enough signs, not enough directions and not very ohana :( 17Sep2024

Harry B.

Yelp
Well. Mixed review here. The terminal was 4 stars. Clean 5. Food 3-4 not many options but not bad. Seating great. Electrical outlets good. And bathrooms were clean though not too big. As much as I like Hawaiian, after boarding first class they made next groups wait on gangway while they served first class drinks!! What the @&$. You couldn't wait till people boarded? Hawaiian has always been one of my favorites with their aloha spirit and just great feeling. But today was a big step back. Well the terminal was pretty good.

Alyssa C.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and I've always had a positive experience. The staff is generally helpful and the location is kept clean for guests. It's a low key airport since I'm use to the bustling Las Vegas airport and in comparison it's much less chaotic. The TSA line moves quickly as well. I usually stop at a Starbucks on property and it's stocked with the usual stuff. Really, no complaints!

Jackie K.

Yelp
The Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is Hawaii's main airport to fly out of Honolulu. Today's destination is Portland, Oregon. The Hawaiian airlines side of the airport is an easy street side drop off and short walk to the self check in or premier club check in. The area is well lit and there are holiday decorations around the area. Staff at the airport are always helpful and informative.

Lindsey D.

Yelp
Flew from Honolulu to LAX with Hawaiian airlines and I was in the Hawaiian terminal 1. This airport is huge and has a lot of seating area. It was a 7 am flight so the airport was empty and nothing was open. The restrooms were big and clean. The seating area also spacious. They do an agriculture check before you get in the plane so the check in process is slow and longer than usual and your plane will take off later than the expected time.

Shantell C.

Yelp
Popped in at 0500 on a Friday morning. Many Hawaiian kiosks open to check in with an attendant for every 4 kiosk. The area is clean and open and the bag drop line was short. Only problem is construction between inter island and continental checkin.

Zar N.

Yelp
Nice and clean airport with some good food places. terminal 11 speaker is not working and can't hear any announcement.

Summer C.

Yelp
This is a pretty good airport. For the most part it is awesome because it means you have arrived in Hawaii, or sad if you are leaving haha. I like the indoor/outdoor aspect of it. It is not anything fancy, but not a bad airport. My experience here was good and smooth. I only ate from the convenient store to grab some snacks and drinks. Of course it is expensive since it is an airport, but I've been in really bad airports and this is not one of them. The entrance and exit of this airport is pretty easy. To get to the rental car building you need to take a shuttle, but it does not take long at all. The people I encountered here were friendly. Aloha!

Yelp
Yelp Review 2023 #220: Honolulu airport is one of the most basic airports I've ever landed at and departed from - it's probably one notch better than Omaha Eppley Airport. They have a few shops (Duty Free, Hawaiian shops, Burberry, Prada, Hermes, etc for last-minute souvenir shopping), a few restaurants (mostly fast food but not McDonald's and a few casual sit down restaurants. I prefer the Hawaiian restaurants: Lahaina Chicken - only if you need something quick , Royal Kona Coffee, Mauka Market, Makai Plantation), and there's a little Japanese garden outside. Just like in true Hawaiian fashion, everything is laidback - nobody's yelling at people at TSA like they do in Atlanta or Houston. It's not a big airport. It's quick and easy. So, despite being pretty basic, they do a good job at not stressing out passengers. All the people that go viral for public outbursts are not from here. When you arrive, you will go through an agriculture check to make sure you didn't bring any food and plants that could possibly have pests - which is a good preventative measure to protect Hawaii from an infestation of fruit flies, harmful insects or disease. Before departing from Hawaii, you have to go through an agriculture check again so you don't bring pests to the mainland - you are allowed to bring pre-treated produce at a certain amount/ quantity to the mainland. Check with your airline first before buying and bringing all the pineapples. But I will say, I did have a bad experience at this airport during a layover from an international flight that almost made me miss my flight back to Vegas. I got stuck in the immigrations/ customs line. With hundreds of passengers waiting over an hour and only 3-4 officers, it was a nightmare! They were calling my name for last boarding. But that incident in 2012 prompted me to get Global Entry. Never again will I wait over an hour!

Katherine N.

Yelp
Very nice people and clean. That's all I got to say. Lol. They changed our flight and now have a layover at Kona island.

Angel H.

Yelp
If you're flying with Hawaiian Airlines you'll be in Terminal 1. It's actually pretty big and spacious. We were all the way at gate A6, which is the farthest down. The Newsstand is right there if you need a snack or something to read like a magazine. The bathrooms are right there. There's a decent amount of stalls and it's very clean. The water fountain is right next to the bathroom if you want to refill your water bottle. There are many seats where you're waiting to board. They even have chargers to charge your electronics while you're waiting.

Steven S H C.

Yelp
When you are flying into Oahu, you really do not have much choice other than the base or here and 99.99%, we will be checking in at this location. One thing nice about is adding the Southwest wing with modern amenities. However, with increased traffic comes with many other problems. The TSA area is congested because it is small and hot and stuffy and what else. It is definitely not the best part of visiting the island. After sending your bad thru the agricultural check point and going thru the TSA, you can chill till your flight but definitely a hassle. On one positive note, these TSA agents work very hard and even though line is long, definitely you will go thru faster than DIA.

Austin C.

Yelp
I mean it's an airport..so..not tons to report. I would say that the filtered water, depending on ur tastes of course, is not that great. I probably should have researched the airport better since a bit has changed since the last time we were there and they were also doing conveyor belt construction I believe it was. SO...note to self, after returning rental car, depending possibly what airline you are flying and where, there are 3 terminals. T2, which is right across from rentals, International, and T1, which is a LONG walk, so take the wiki wiki (shuttle) from the rental car if you're flight is out of Terminal 1. We flew Hawaiian back, so they are T1. Once you drop your bags to be checked, if necessary, standard boarding is to the right and Precheck is to the left from the semi-self check-in counters, for now. We'll see how it is a year from now when we go back.

Anthony H.

Yelp
My expectations of Daniel K. Inouye Intl. Airport was high before flying into it. However that all quickly dissipated when I saw how limited the airport was. The airport itself is clean, well designed and has good signage. Getting from one gate to another gate is straight forward and can be done quickly. Their baggage claim area is nice and gets the job done. The lighting in the airport is decent but makes the concourses look dull and depressing. However one of the bright spots to this airport is that it has been remodeled and upgraded as to not show its age. The airport is welcoming and has several memorabilia that honors Hawaii's history and legacy. There are strategic locations where you have access to fresh air from outdoors. You can stand at a balcony and feel the cool breeze. Another thing to consider is that there aren't many restaurants or store to choose from so your options are limited. Overall, a decent airport but it's not paradise, it's simply a airport that's meant to get you to your destination

Brandi I.

Yelp
It's an airport full of people and so I feel like it can be a little hit or miss when it comes to your experience, depending on how many times you fly to Honolulu. Overall, I've had good experiences. No delayed flights, polite staff, etc. The airport is relatively clean, including the bathrooms. Always a plus. Plenty of shopping and dining options if you need to kill time. If you're flying Hawaiian, you want terminal 1. Everything else, you want terminal 2. The layout of the airport is weird if you're unfamiliar so make sure you're paying attention to where you're going.

Alex K.

Yelp
Such an easy and smaller airport compared to the main bustle of Los Angeles. It was great arriving and leaving. The terminals are pretty easy to maneuver, some construction going on but that's kind of a given for any airport now. Food wise, they do a small selection as it's not a huge airport. Some duty free shopping, a few nice high end stores. Getting to baggage clamin was easy as getting to your car. Also, the ride share area is upstairs.

Lyn L.

Yelp
It was a looong day. Flight HNL-OAK was originally scheduled for 1:05pm... notice, delayed to 1:43pm... got to the airport and while at the gate, flight was pot on hold for 2 hours because of mechanical reasons. Flight crew and pilot leave the area. (This is the sign that it's gonna be a wait) Ok, I want them to fix the plane before we fly. I was so surprised to hear a lady complaining to her daughter in the phone "Delayed, I don't know why. They're not telling us anything" Teenage girl in a whiney voice, "Why can't we just go, I'm tired, I don't want to be here and get in late"... now she's in tears. OMG! Hey folks, better late than never.. Then they announce flight will leave at 3pm....flight delayed to 4pm, then they hand out meal vouchers (boy do people line up fast!). Now everyone is going to get food so I'm watching everyone's carryons... we quickly became a community Finally 5pm...boarding will begin once the flight crew arrives and preparers the plane! Yay In the meantime, I meet a lovely lady, Mary Ann... we're chatting.. then a sweet girl named Eunice who just flew in from Korea and is on her way back to Cal (UC Berkeley)... as we chatted I asked her how she was gonna get back to campus, especially since we'd now be arriving close to midnight. She says Uber . Lovely lady Mary Ann says, "I have a driver picking me up and I live xxxx, I can drop you off at school!" Eunice is texting her mom in Korea who is concerned.. Mary Ann offers her license so Eunice's mom can see who she is. It was such a lovely exchange among strangers who became friends. I boarded feeling really good about the day. I love people watching. There are still good people here . Flight was fast(5:13pm HST-11:49 PST)! Hawaiian air crew were very apologetic about the delay and very cordial. My lucky day, ended up in FC

Chris T.

Yelp
This is the international airport in Honolulu. I was flying Southwest from the mainland. The lines for Southwest checkin is quite long and slow moving, but I am priority so the line went quickly. I have a global Entry that includes TSA Precheck and the employee directed me to checkpoint 3 which is not TSA Precheck. That is Checkpoint 4 if that happens to you. If like me you go to Checkpoint 3 as directed, let the security guard know you are TSA Precheck and they will give you a yellow slip to bypass the removal of shoes and the metal detector where it scans your entire body. There are many food options available. Many stores for purchasing last minute items prior to boarding. Cleanliness: below average. There is trash all over the floors and the scent they use is very strong and irritates my sensitive skin. And it gives me a headache. Bathroom: there is a decent size bathroom near E3 with clean stalls and a nice sink area. The line can get long but since there are 10 stalls it moves quite quickly. The Dyson sinks have soap, water, and dryer in one. If you need to brush your teeth, it is a challenge but doable. Luggage: on arrival it can be a challenge to get to your luggage. It is in the basement area. You have to leave the airport and then go down the stairs or take the elevator. The employees also pull luggage off the machines since there is so much luggage. If you don't see your luggage look in the back and see if employees pulled yours off. When people collect their luggage they do put them back but you end up waiting forever. If you need assistance, the airport Helpdesk is not manned with a human but there is a telephone. I tested it, I picked it up and dialed the number, a person quickly answered an offered assistance. I was curious about cost of taxi. They said roughly $50. I took a taxi from the airport to Waikiki area, there is $5 airport fee plus 75 cent per bag charge for regular size luggage. Our taxi was $65. There was quite a lot of traffic due to rush hour traffic after work. The taxi driver said 2pm-6pm can be the hardest traffic time. Oh if you need to work and charge your laptop or devices, you have to hunt for power outlet. Their is one by E4. I think there is one outlet per gate. I saw one finely at e5 but it was in use.

Rebecca T.

Yelp
This is the nicer terminal because the bathrooms are modern and clean, and also the Hawaiian airlines Plumeria lounge is here! The airport could be designed a little better because... Two main things to be cautious about: - the actual gates where people get on the plane are down the ramp away from the main seating area. So if you're judging your actual time to board from the crowd size, then it's not gonna work. - the display board at the gate is controlled by the state of Hawaii, not the actual flight staff. So if your flight is delayed and not even boarding yet, the sign might already display the info of the next flight! The staff have to constantly make announcements to avoid confusion. This is just too much room for error with this system!!! It's definitely nice to have facilities to make passengers comfortable but I think the most essential thing in an airport is clear directions and instructions. I hope Honolulu can improve on this.

Aj O.

Yelp
The people are so nice and very helpful. Completely opposite the people from California.

Ellen D.

Yelp
Finally, Modernize and clean. Loving the new terminal as it brand new. I would hope there will be more shops and restaurants and this place gets up and running.

Shakira E.

Yelp
Food options are not great meaning the selection and pricing. But there's a new Dunkin Express in terminal A near gates A1-A10. This part of the airport has been refreshed and is light and bright now.

Mike S.

Yelp
ARRIVE 1.5 HOURS BEFORE FLIGHT You don't have to be super early :) BEST PRO TIP EVER If you're going to be buying little souvenirs for your friends/family back home. Buy it right before you fly. The prices are pretty much the same and you don't have to waste your beach time shopping for little gifts - everything is here and you WILL have time to kill. FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS Pretty much all crap. Best option is salads at the small self-serve stores. Pink Berry seems to be closed - only worthwhile indulgence. Yes there are multiple Starbucks. SHOPPING A few swanky stores. Also touristy stuff. Again, best place to get souvenirs and treats for friends and family. Enemies you want to make your friends too maybe? :) TSA PRE-CHECK For Terminal 2 - it's only at Checkpoint #4. Also, the facial recognition pictures are optional. Just say no and the line will go faster. PRETTY MUCH IT!

Sheri H.

Yelp
No air conditioning till after you go through security, then it's open air again till you're on the plane. Few restaurants so when they are busy, they may be a long wait. There are few places to sit down until you reach your gate. All of the retail stores were closed in the early afternoon.

Nadine C.

Yelp
Also known as the Hawaiian Airlines Terminal, Terminal 1 of the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (formerly known as Honolulu International Airport) has been renovated! Terminal 1 used to be the Interisland Terminal. Now, it has been reconfigured to accommodate Interisland travel and travel to the Continental USA and beyond! Follow the signs. That's all we can do. Look for small signs that state that restrooms at the Gate are under construction... Those signs are big hints to use the restroom now! Haha! Today, I checked in at a kiosk instead of standing in a long line for the Pualani members. It was so quick! The obstacle was figuring out that Agricultural Inspection and Luggage drop-off (super LONG line) was at the far left of check-in and TSA was to the far right of check-in! Wow! We sure got our exercise today by walking from one end of the Departure area to the other! Eventually, I followed the signs and passed the Hawaiian Airlines Premier Club, some convenient ATM machines, and the beautiful Hawaiian Garden! It's good to get to the airport early to avoid traffic and other things that might happen... Ahhh... See you again soon! A hui hou!

Kathryn L.

Yelp
Flew in & flew out of Terminal 2, Gate C. I'm not impressed with the lack of eateries, untidy restrooms (we went to 2 different ones due to the messiness) & the outdated feeling of an international airport. There are no charging outlets connected to the seats. From what I saw was a charging station before Gate C3 with four stalls, yet no chairs. There are more Duty-Free shops than food options unless they are located in other terminals. Nonetheless, have more options throughout the airport. As far as the TSA, it makes no sense to have only one pathway open when there are 25+ people waiting in line to get scanned. On the most positive side is the open air aspect & the Cultural Garden with greenery & waterfalls. Although the messy Food Court consists of a California Pizza Kitchen, Burger King, Chinese Express & a Yogurt spot, the outdoor patio provides a nice & relaxing view to wait for your flight. Mahalo.

LARA S.

Yelp
This is just for the restroom. So I walked into this the other day.... Not sure who was partying in the family restroom. That's just nasty! But what's nastier is that they left their $h!+ like that!!! And spilled soda on the ground. Pilau!!!

Marie S.

Yelp
Nice airport ! When we got off the plane it was in the older part of the airport. They are working on different parts and those refurbished parts are really nice. Luggage area was quick and easy, Bathrooms by the luggage area we clean and nee.

Shirley M. F.

Yelp
12/7/2022: Regardless and despite efficiently moving Peeps through Daniel K. Inouye International Airport such as checking in with your airlines, paying/not paying for checking in your checked luggage, obtaining the Airline's BOARDING PASS, i.e., do NOT pass-do not go ANYWHERE BUT--SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR BOARDING PASS . . . Stand in a l-o-n-g queue at your Airline's Customer Service correcting the Boarding Pass Information, go to the proverbial "frisking/scanning your entire being" via TSA's Security operations: Of course, I paid a few years ago applying for "Global Entry" which today, is the reason returning to Hawaiian Airlines Customer Service in order, receiving my Boarding Pass specifying, "TSA PRE-CHECK" due to IF, "TSA PRE-CHECK" isn't printed on your Boarding Pass, TSA Security will send your fine, wonderful self--all smiling TSAs to the NON-PreCheck Security standing in an egregiously l--o--n--g queue!!!! Then . . . AUGH!!!! Getting hassled with the Aggie's scanning my hand carry luggage--AGAIN before hoofing it to my flight's gate!!!! Why can't the AGGIES scan SIMULTANEOUSLY with the TSA Security Peeps???? FINALLY, the ARDUOUS trek hoofing from one side of the airport to your flight's runway entrance--I'm EGREGIOUSLY exhausted and SWEATY, too! Oooooof! Did I just trekked a mile or more???? Where ARE the people movers???? Attention, Daniel K. Inouye International Airport CEO/Hawaiian Transportation: Will you PLEASE remodel the entire Daniel K. Inouye International Airport EXACTLY LIKE SINGAPORE'S CHANGI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT--PLEASE????

Yelp
Airport is dated but pretty thorough and has a large availability of flights. From International to island to island, this airport offers it all. They have recently updated and remodeled many restrooms in Terminal 1. The issue is that there are no countertops beyond the washing basins. There is a mildew smell in Terminal E and they may need to get that addressed. Carpet is dated, as well as the Terminal seating. Signage is a bit unclear throughout the terminal. Many standard travelers getting in the TSA Precheck line and getting turned away (since those of us who pay for TSA PreCheck) takes up precious time for legitimate TSA PreCheck customers. There is a beautiful Cultural Garden in this airport and it's super peaceful.

Yelp
The airport is nice and clean. Easy access not crowded at all. Let's talk departures Terminal 1 gates A1-12 There's a Dunkin' Donut and a newsstand that's it . Bring your own food or you will regret it. I sat and waited for our plane eating Cheetos. The process is easy getting on the plane pretty quick. TSA was a little strange the guy was loud for no good reason there was only two of us in that area lol.

Yelp
We are at A10 Hawaiian airlines. It we still have to come in this way.. pretty empty at 8 pm. Checkin was easy still take off shoes and take out laptop.. but everything else is nice and smooth.. they have charging ports for your electronics. Most of the stuff is closed at this time so make sure to eat before you get here.. we stopped and got the cheapest and the most delicious meal before we got here... Costco hot dog.. no matter where you go it's always $1.50. Anyway have a good flight you all!
