Daniel's Bait & Tackle Shop of City Island

This is my fourth or fifth time going there and they have what I wanted the staff is very helpful and friendly I will be returning there in the near future for more fishing supplies I had a blast while I was there plus chatting with a few other people there getting supplies also just 👍 😎 ☺️😀

The clerks at Daniels bait and tack shop were extreme helpful. We are new to the sport and they guided us through the best rods to buy, what equipment we needed and how to do the basic set up so when we left, we were are all ready to go.

Worst customer service ever. I went to buy worms and renew my fishing license, the young man say that I have to pay 8.00 dollars when it is 1.00dolar. I ask why and he answers with actitud. I thing they new administration cause they don’t use to be like this. Guys avoid that shot, the near tackle shop is one minute ahead by the bus stop.

Ingo to Daniel's faithfully for years!. They always have what I need on hands and their customer service is always amazing

Been coming here for about 10 or 12 years, always have good stuff and Pat was a good guy. Just found out today store changed hands, Daniel's running it now. They did some remodeling and place looks great. Hoping the change is only looks wise because this store was great. Also they're doing Marine registry here, the only ones who do it, so you know where to go

Great staff very very very(yes 3 very)helpful and resourceful! They have a variety or great fresh and salt fishing tackles good reels and they'll spool it for you if you need that option they also have live bait, great advice and a feel like you're family

The guys at the shop are always down to talk fish, sports, and rock and roll. My one and only place to get all my bait needs and supplies. They also give info on where the bite is hot. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT.

Danny is the man! I love coming here and chatting with the owner. He is unbelievably knowledgeable. They have an excellent selection of terminal tackle, accessories and especially rods. Sooooo many to choose from for any budget. The fresh bait selection is wonderful as well but the bloodworms are a bit small compared to other bait shops on the island. Thankfully theres a parking lot around back because City Island Ave can be a madhouse sometimes. Overall this is a total one stop shop for everything you need for anything youre trying to catch.
