I see why the reviews are so high. The pasta is made from scratch with wheat flour from Italy. So all the people with gluten allergy this is a solution right here. It is the orginal wheat before the US started modifying it. The restaurant is smaller but a authentic Italian place. I spoke with the owner who is super friendly and heard his story. I was happy to have found this unique restaurant and will definitely recommend and come back again. Try it out you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely outstanding experience this evening at Daninos. We were in town on vacation and looking to avoid the touristy areas. We came in based on Google reviews and were NOT disappointed! This small, family run trattoria serves up delicious, authentic Italian. From the house made focaccia served with olive oil and balsamic through to dessert, we loved everything we tried. That included a delicious peach, gorgonzola and arugula salad, the house caprese salad, a shrimp and mushroom risotto, the amazing tri color lasagna and a caprese panini. My son had the canolli and dubbed it the best he has ever had. My husband's family is Italian and we live in a heavily Italian part of PA. We've also been to Italy several times. This place is the real deal, and is an outstanding value for the prices they are charging. We will be back on our next trip!

The food here is astounding and probably the best italian food I've ever had. Service was incredibly prompt and you can tell the food is homemade. Will absolutely be returning everytime I'm back in Orlando

Daninos is a cute little family-owned restaurant with a charming interior design and cozy setting. I went with colleagues during lunch, and it can get quite busy, so I recommend going between 11:00 and 12:30 based on my experience. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and felt it could use a bit more flavor, but my colleague had the Alfredo pasta and it was absolutely delicious. They also served fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic—so tasty that I asked for seconds! Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely come back again.

This is one of the best authentic restaurants we have ever been too. It seemed like a hole in the wall place. Great food, amazing service and just overall great atmosphere. We had the Daninos pizza, lasagna, pasta with 4 cheese, pasta with Alfredo sauce. The breadsticks were amazing! Freshly made bread and completely warm with virgin olive oil on the side 👌🏽 amazing!!! Totally recommend this restaurant!!!! 10/10 for overall experience!

We read the positive reviews and went while we were in Orlando a week ago. It was even better than we expected. Great food and friendly service too. We had a pizza and pasta dish. The desert, Tirsmisu, was off the charts good. Like you would get in Italy. We will definetly go back again when in Orlando for work. Great find and food.

Wow! All I need to say is Buenísimo. My family and I came to visit Seaworld and after we wanted to have a nice authentic Italian meal and what a surprise from the Zuppa to the pizzas, calzone and the build your own pasta ❤️we will definitely be coming back when we visit the Orlando area. You will not be disappointed ❤️

What a wonderful family run restaurant in the heart of Orlando. Prices were reasonable, portions were great, and the food was delicious. As an out of towner, it was nice to find a place that wasn't a chain. Make sure you get some of the fresh, hot, homemade bread. Chicken parm and steak were flavorful and our friend really enjoyed his pizza. We will certainly add this to our list of favorite places when we return to Orlando!

Servers were very friendly and accommodating as we had a table of 10. Very authentic Italian feel in the restaurant. The gnocchi and Danino's pizza were delicious. I loved the tricolor sauce on my pasta.

I stopped in during my lunch break as I was craving some pizza and wanted to take advantage of their lunch special. I had ordered ahead and received notification that it was ready, however, they never actually worked on the ticket. I had to wait most of my lunch break which was frustrating. The employee gave me a free drink and apologized for the inconvenience, which was nice, but still an inconvenient experience. The pizza itself was good and filling. The place is small but has enough seating. There is plenty of parking for the plaza and it doesn't get too busy

Wow, wow, wow! This is THE best pizza I have had in many years. Simply wonderful! Had a chance to try three different pies and each was my favorite. Ok, the Danilo is the best. It's the Prosciutto pizza and was amazing. Service was great and the inside had a great comfortable atmosphere.

We live in Jacksonville, FL but each time we come to Orlando we always come here. Great, fresh food. Truly Italian. Fantastic bread served hot with your lunch. We have enjoyed their pizza, lasagna, salads, and caprese salad with authetic italian cheese. A+ Service is good. Clean restaurant and nice ambiance. It is out of the way and we use GPS but it is always worth the stop. Wish we had one of these in Jacksonville too.

One of the best Italian restaurants in all of Orlando hands down!!! As soon as you walk in through the door you are greeted with smiles and friendly customer service. The ambience felt refreshing and homie. The places feels like your entering Italy and they sell a bunch of cookies, sauces, and pastas imported from Italy. The food was cooked to perfection and both the Pollo allá Parmigiana and Pasta Al Forno had so much flavor and you can tell they made the dishes with love and care. Complementary bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil my favorite!!! They offer a variety of desserts which we skipped because the entrées were big so we were pretty full. It's located in a shopping center, it's one of those mom and pop places that once you try one time you are definitely going to go again lols Highly recommend to anyone!! Thank you Danino's Trattoria we will certainly come back again. ^.^

Great food and the bread is outstanding. Italian food cooked in house. Fresh and served hot. Delicious. Great service. Small family owned restaurant which lends to a nice atmosphere. Make sure on a Friday or Saturday night for dinner you get reservations. It has gotten very popular because they are delicious. We will be back again when in Orlando or Lake Buena Vista.

Danino's Trattoria is an Italian restaurant, this is the second time coming here. The first time I wasn't too impressed with the food, it seemed bland BUT I gave it another try and this time was way better! I ordered the pasta alla bolognese, it was very good. I do think it should come with more sauce though. My husband ordered the pollo alla parmigiana and the chicken was soooooo good! My son ordered the margarita pizza and it was amazing! I am so glad I decided to give this place a second chance because I wanna come more often now!

To be honest, myself and my party of five was disappointed. I had the chicken Marsala with linguine and the table had regular chicken marinara. The Chicken Marsala was underwhelming and tasted like Chinese takeout. The complimentary bread and arugula salad however was delicious. The serving size was large and the chicken parmigiana was good. The peach lemonade was amazing though, highly recommend it!! Taste just like juice from Japan. The service was decent but during our meal there were few opportunities to ask for the extra cheese/the bill. The restaurant was very busy however so I assume the service lacked particularly because of it. The ambiance was enjoyable. We do regret not ordering their pizza as it seems that it was popular choice. Overall we were all underwhelmed and will likely not return.

The place is more 3.5 but support local business in an area dominated by franchises. I would skip the pizza. The pastas were good. The free bread is nice with a thicker balsamic vinegar. Service is a bit slow.

This is a cozy spot which features homemade Italian dishes. Hot bread to dip in olive oil introduces your meal. The menu offers pizza as well as other traditional dishes. The Danino Lasagna was enough for two meals. The pasta was tender and all the layers perfectly screamed excellence.

Food alone is the reason for my 5 star . I'm from Texas tried this place randomly and I'm so glad we did.

The lasagna was delivered with the sauce spilled out all over the delivery bag and the other containers. The meatballs, marinara sauce and the sausage lacked salt. In fact, I couldn't even eat the meatballs, the taste (or the lack of it) made me gag. The only decent thing about this order from Danino's was a) the quantity of food; and b) the garlic bread and the calamari. Rest of the stuff was below average in quality.

Amazing food and service. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff and the amazing smell of the focaccia! The paninis and pizza are sooo delicious! We will be back!

Highly recommend! The food is amazing! The homemade focaccia bread, pasta, and mozzarella are not only outstanding, but the authenticity is unmatched by any place you will find in the Orlando area. If you are looking for great fresh pizza, pasta, or paninis (and made some fabulous Italian wine) look no further this is your place! And you will love the prices too!! We had two entrees, two bottles of Italian wine (one to go we liked it so much), served with fresh focaccia bread for under $100!

I recently went here with a larger group (7) and they were able to accommodate us immediately. I'm a BIG fan of Italian food, so i was extremely excited to try homemade food instead of going to a standard chain, and let me tell y'all: THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, almost feels like being hosted at the chefs home. We were recommended a couple favorites from the menu (everything delicious!) and the chef was also very knowledgeable about wine. I personally had the house soup (had to share some with everyone at the table because it was so good), and then a chicken parmigiana sandwich. The portions are really nice, and the sandwich was super delicious. The homemade focaccia was probably my favorite thing about my whole meal. Desserts were equally as decadent. We had tiramisu, gelato, limoncello cake, and chocolate almond cake for the table and I genuinely can't choose a favorite. I cannot wait to go back!!

My boyfriend recommended Daninos as a great hole in the wall spot with delicious food at reasonable prices. I was craving pasta, and our server, who was super helpful, suggested the Pasta Frutti Di Mare from their specials menu. If you love seafood and pasta, go for it! I also got a Margherita Pizza to go, and even after reheat it was delicious and didn't feel heavy on the stomach. We both wish this place was just down the road from us but a 25min drive isn't too bad!

Unbecoming store front but delicious food! In a random Orlando strip mall. Super delicious. Reasonably priced. Service... Reminded me of being in Europe-- order everything you want at once! If you don't order it the first time, you go without! Lol. Very happy with our food. Will return when in Orlando. Full bar & Coke products. Do yourself a favor, pick this place!

The tavolo is the best pizza I've had in my life, definitely the best in Orlando. This is MUST when in the area. The owner is so nice and puts love into anything he makes. It's authentic and delicious. The pasta with the pear are little pillows of joy, personally I like it the best with Alfredo and a little pesto. You will not be disappointed with your experience at all. I've tried all the desserts and it was hard to pick my favorite, they were all most and full of flavor. Get them all, you can always get a box to go. It's a cute hole in the wall. Gives the small town pizza vibe with big flavors. Good for a date night or family dinner.

The food at Danino's Trattoria was actually good, which is the only reason this isn't a 1-star review. Unfortunately, everything else about the experience was frustrating. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering, even though three other tables that arrived and ordered after us got their meals at least 10 - 15 minutes before us. No one checked on us during the long wait, and our drinks sat empty for over 15 minutes at a time until someone finally told me to "make ourselves at home" and get our own refills. On top of that, the AC wasn't working properly, so it was uncomfortably warm inside which makes timely refills more important. When trying to pay the bill the waiter took care of other tables taking their food and refilling drinks after he had our credit card and we mentioned we were in a hurry at this point. Lastly, the receipt had a tip already included, but there was no notice about that--and it still prompted us to "add a tip" without clarifying it was additional, which felt misleading. Good food can't make up for bad service, long waits, and a poor overall dining experience. I won't be rushing back.

The bread for the panini sandwich is baked in house. So is the bread they serve at the table. That bread basket is served with a dish of olive oil and balsamic glaze. The baked pasta dishes were huge. Will enjoy the large portions another day since it was too large to eat at dinner. The service was great and the servers also great. No room for dessert.

We dined at this restaurants after my son's graduation and our experience was ok. The service took a bit long. When we arrived, it seemed there's was only one server. He was very nice though! We ordered the chicken Marsala and it was very watery. The chicken and sauce was very bland and flavorless. The fettuccine Alfredo was very good. My son really enjoyed it. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The restaurant looked cute and had Italian decor. It was very quiet at the time we went. Overall, it was ok and not as we expected.

This local restaurant has food that is absolutely delicious. I'm usually scared of Alfredo sauce and gnocchi for being too heavy, but this pasta was one of the best!! The gnocchi was soft and light and went so well with the Alfredo sauce which was smooth and flavorful without being sharp. The salad with fig marmalade and the pizza was delicious too! What amazing flavor to the classics with all three of these plates! The gnocchi is a MUST TRY!

This is such a hidden gem in the Orlando area. We ordered the Insalata Di Pesca. We substituted the Gorgonzola cheese for Parmesan reggiano cheese and it was for sure the right move. Thr sweetness of the peaches and dressing mixed with the nuttiness of the arugula were just outstanding. To accompany thf salad was a piece of bread with a fig jam. We had the margarita pizza. The crust was crunchy and soft at the same time. The tomato sauce had the right amount of sweetness to accompany the cheese and basil. We can't wait to come back!

Went here based on pizza reviews. I had the margerita pizza and Daninos salad, both excellent. The pizza sauce was delicious and crust was perfect combination of crispy and chewy. Very authentic. My husband had the weekend-only special gnocchi with burrata. So good! The sauce was fantastic. Do not miss this place.

Small family owned and operated restaurant serving fresh authentic Italian cuisine in a casual environment! I am so happy to have found this restaurant! First one I find serving real Italian food. The owner and the waitress are super friendly. Food is delicious and there are plenty of free parking. The restaurant is easy to miss if you are drivnig by because it is not visible from the road. We ordered a beef carpaccio, A risotto funghi, Lasagna Di Melanzane, and a calzone. Everything was delicious but our favorite was the carpaccio! For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Amaretto Cake, baked by the owner's wife, which was delicious! A great option for a Saturday lunch with the whole family. We are coming back! Super recommended!

I truly wanted to LOVE this place. I read all the great reviews and thought this would be an amazing spot for my son's birthday. First of all, we did not feel very "welcome." We had reservations for 6 for 6pm. When we walked in, nobody greeted us. Finally, we were asked if we had reservations, which I replied yes, and they took us to a double table against the wall, and then they walked away. It was very, very warm, temperature wise, inside the restaurant, which I assumed was because the location is very small with the oven, stove, and everything open into the restaurant. We weren't met with a waiter, bread or a drink order for more than 5 minutes. It wasn't very busy either, so really no excuse to not welcome guests. Our waiter was very short with us and did NOT make us feel like we mattered. Our drinks were not refilled until right before we left the restaurant. The food was "good" but the portions weren't relative to the prices. I do not think we will be back. I saw a different waiter handling a table behind ours, and he seemed very engaged with the patrons. Also, the lack of space inside had us feeling trapped as we tried to leave. They had moved a square table between the table behind us an the giant table that ran the length of the bar, so we couldn't walk through. The giant tables party was also arriving, and the chairs were almost to the bar. We had to squeeze between them to get out. Again, I wanted to love it, but unfortunately, I left disappointed.

You will be tempted to change your mind when you see the store front. You will be tempted to turn back as you approach. Eat here. Real Italian food made fresh by very skilled cooks. The chicken Marsala was top notch, fresh chicken cooked just right, fresh onions and mushrooms cooked into a perfectly seasoned sauce. And I never complain when they start you off with complimentary focaccia with oil and balsamic for dipping.

Great service including the owner checking in with us multiple times, amazing food (pizza, gnocchi a la vodka and chicken marsala) and Nutella gelato for dessert!!

Wonderful place, outstanding food. It's a family owned restaurant with homemade pasta and freshly made entrees. Atmosphere looks like little Italy. A lady with a rolling pin rolling fresh dough for pizza and another making fresh chocolate deserts smelled like funnel cake! They speak English, Spanish and Italian! No wait, definitely a place to check out! Well worth the price for authentic Italian!

The atmosphere, soft relaxing music and attentive host made the experience lovely. Then the food arrived, and we were blown away with the authenticity, flavors, and whole experience. I highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best Italian cuisine in Orlando!

Family owned restaurant. The owner and head chef was very pleasant and accommodating. The dishes that my family and friends order were very delicious!! The fresh hot home made toasted bread with olive oil and Balsamic was a great start to open up out appetite My wife and I had a minestrone soup that was so flavorful. We also had a Caprese Salad and a Cappachio that was out of this world. Portion sizes were more than enough and our table had to take to go boxes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a must go

Just walking in the restaurant, you can smell the wonderful fragrances from the kitchen. This restaurant reminds me of a more realistic Italian food. Everything was fresh and delicious and I loved the artwork in the balsamic and oil served with the bread which by the way was delicious. The staff could not have been nicer.

My friends and I are going to kpoppin but got hungry so we decided to look for something to eat. My boyfriend wanted pizza so we decided to come in. This place looks really nice I love the atmosphere! The staff is very friendly, my friends drink drinks like it's nothing so she kept having to come for refills. I ordered a kids size Alfredo, my boyfriend ordered the pepperoni pizza, and our friends all ordered the spicy panini. The food is so delicious really one of the best flavored pepperoni pizza! Everything about the panini was good and larger than what we expected. My pasta still filled me up even though it was kids size and it was very creamy. We will be coming back here the next time we visit. Very pleasantly surprised!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I have to tell the whole story. I picked up my wife for lunch, and I wanted to go to one of my favorite burger joints. She told me that she wanted to go to some Italian joint in a nearby strip mall to get pizza. I reluctantly said, "OK". I was not happy with her selection. Shortly after we were seated, our service brought a small plate of foccacio crustini. I still had a surly outlook; I wasn't feeling pizza. I took a piece of bread and dipped a little of the sauce. Let me tell you, my taste buds exploded with joy - and my entire attitude did a 180. The bread was fresh, hot, crusty on the outside with a soft tender center. The sauce was a phenomenal mixture of roasted garlic, olive-oil, and balsamic was like icing on a cake. Then our fresh Cesar salad arrived. Although most salads are simple, I have had some horrid salads at other places from time-to-time. But , Danino's achieved perfection by combining extremely fresh produce with an exceptionally tasty dressing and housemade croutons. It was impeccable. Remember that I said I didn't want pizza. I had to repent. This simple cheese and pepperoni toppings were paired with the optimum amount of delicious red sauce. Then the crust. The crust was so good that my tongue went into convulsions and slapped so many times against the roof of my mouth until I got brain damage. This is absolutely the BEST pizza that I have ever eaten. And I have had a lot of pizza. The owner Giuseppe is very attentive and engages with the diners. The staff is friendly and informative. I enjoyed this meal so much that we went back within a week. That may not mean much until you understand that Danino's Trattorio is a 40 minute drive from my home. Yep, I am willing to drive 40 minutes for pizza, salad, and crustini. Check it out and tell Giuseppe that we sent you.

We always read reviews prior to trying a new place and this one hands down is one of the best Authentic Italian Restaurants in the area! Every single dish that was brought out was perfection from presentation to taste! Cesar Salad was fresh and dressing was light. We also ordered Chicken Parm, The trio dish below, Margarita pizza and brought home Cannoli's, Italian Rum cake and a lemon cake. All were completely mouth watering. The service was great, quick seating attentiveness and each dish we had questions about were explained very well Like a true Chef explanation! The recommended dish below is a must try !!! My favorite was the four cheese sauce. Menu had a very good selection, Prices are very fair and food came out quickly .
