Always great service when I grab food here. I love their pork belly with the Kim chi. The chips and different salsas are also delectable. 👌. I typically order the pork belly without the Thai chili sauce as I don't like much sweet flavors on meats and I really want the seasoning on the pork belly and Kim chi to shine thru

We had a great time here! They’re very knowledgeable on what’s gluten free and they have great service. The food was delicious and the chips were really good. All tacos can be gluten free except the teriyaki.

Cool and funky dining room along with creative flavors? Yes please! I enjoyed both of my visits, getting different menu items both times. Really enjoyed both of the interesting takes on familiar ingredients. Pork belly was crispy and delicious. Would recommend.

Danksgiving burrito is not what it used to be. Don’t waste your money if you are hoping for what you ordered in past years. It stills tastes amazing fortunately. Also, they forgot our chips which was sad. :(

Absolutely fabulous fresh burritos and tacos. We both had the pork belly with the bahn-mi pickled vegetables. The flavors were blended perfectly. A friend recommended dank burrito, and we are so pleased. Now on our list of places to eat whenever we are in the area! Great staff from a very friendly and helpful.

Definitely a cool little taco burrito shop with not your typical type menu. I highly recommend this establishment if you like this style of food. Everything is excellent including their Plain Jane tacos. If you eat with a group of people, it can become pricey

We had a large party of 8 and ordered at an earlier dinner time and it did take awhile to get our food(not absurdly long). The food was mostly good and a few things were great! Highly recommend the cheese steak burrito and the shrimp burger burrito. Wish they’d had a margarita or a cold beer but overall we enjoyed the food, got our large order correct which is always appreciated, and we enjoyed the funky flavors.

I love their burritos! I got the teriyaki burrito and it was delicious! We have eaten there three times just this week!

Here's the thing, I had the thanksgiving burrito. Had I stopped at just the thanksgiving burrito I would have found a way to give this restaurant 5.5 stars. I would never tell my family, but next year i might just buy these burritos and unwrap them and serve the turkey and dressing. that great tasting filling coupled with a crispy outside and drizzled with gravy and cranberry sauce, you an bet I will be using my leftovers tis weekend to make a burrito. I also had the honey truffle buffalo fried shrimp burrito. Here's the other thing. There just was not enough shrimp in the burrito. The bites with shrimp were indeed dank, but there just wasn't enough shrimp to enjoy. Also, i admit it was hard to follow the danksgiving burrito. They almost set their own bar too high. I will be back at least once a year.

Very good shrimp taco with great fresh salsa. The chips were more like fried Pita triangles than corn or tortilla chips. Very clean and courteous service. Certainly worth another visit.

Stopped here after shopping and had a delicious Carne Asada burrito with kimchi. The place was about 10 people deep placing their orders. All the food is made fresh and never being kept warm under a heat lamp. This reviewer is happy to wait. The order only took about 25-minutes.

My family and I have to eat at Dank Burrito every year when we come to Atlantic Beach during the summer. My favorites are the teriyaki chicken taco, steak n cheese taco, and the fried mahi mahi taco!

This place is much nicer than two people in their 40's - 50's would expect. Don't let the name discourage you from trying it! We ordered two cheesesteak tacos and drove to the beach. They were DELICIOUS! Lots of flavor and lots of yumminess!

One of my favorite places to eat when in this area of NC. OK, so maybe I would have given it 4.5 stars if I could since it is fast food in a way. But this biz started from a food truck that has won some serious awards AND opened another location in Raleigh. It's very obvious this food was created & made by food lovers. Order off the chalkboard, grab a table and get ready for some amazing food. All high quality ingredients made from scratch. Sauces with complexity and some really good choices you don't find everywhere. They even serve beer and dessert for a full, well balanced meal..LOL Burritos, tacos, bowls, salads, and a kid's menu. We tried and loved: a burrito with : Honey truffle buffalo shrimp, rice, beans, ranch slaw, sour cream, cilantro a burrito with :Roasted pork belly, rice, choice of kimchi or banh-mi pickled veggies, sweet Thai chili sauce, cilantro a Cheesesteak burrito with:Shaved ribeye, rice, peppers, onions, mushrooms, American cheese, garlic aioli I'm craving all of these now they are sooo good. Run, don't walk to get some of this truly Foodie's food. I wish them luck and growth

This place is great!!! A perfect example of "don't judge a book by its cover". We tried the jerk chicken tacos and they were amazing!!!

I was asked if it was my first time there. When I said yes I was welcomed and told what some of the items on the menu were. I liked that she told me to take my time and before she recommended the days special. It was a three layer, cheese, meat, fried onions, etc concoction that was super in size and delicious! If I'm in the area again I'll definitely stop in.

When it has 3 spicy flames next to the menu it means spicy, seriously spicy. My daughter and I got the carne asada. She got a burritos and I got the tacos and woo wee. She was running back and forth to fill up her cup of water. Delicious, but we like spice. We really like the art and color on the mural's outside and the tables. A nice place to eat outside too. One nice touch is the hooks under the table to hang a purse while you eat. It's cool to see an old Wendy's get a new life and a fresh vibe. The service was fast and friendly. When asked pico or kim chi, I couldn't decide. He said one of each. Great suggestion.

First time ever eating at a Dank Burrito....it did not disappoint!! Food was exploding with flavor! We tried the Boom Boom shrimp bowl and the jerk chicken bowl....wow!! Super flavorful with the very specific flavor profiles. We also asked for double the protein and they did not skimp on the portions! Flawless delivery with DoorDash and the order (including a few sides) was 100% what we ordered. Looking forward to another visit to try another creation!

We all had something different and all like what we had. Cheese stake burrito, teriyaki chicken burrito, carne asada tacos with kimchi. I don't think they have anything you won't like. Through the hipster graffiti atmosphere a corporate subtlety reverberated. I will go back

I DoorDashed a jerk chicken burrito with a side of guac and this place did not disappoint. It was like and explosion of flavors in my mouth. We traveled here and everyone said this place is a must go to and it did not disappoint!!! Amazing food! I was expecting a little bit more mango salsa in it but overall fantastic!!

The ambiance was great, super casual and plenty of seating at a table or at the bar tables. Service was amazing, the cashier was super helpful. I was disappointed by the food however. I got the Pork Belly Bowl and the kimchi was flavorless, very watery and it would've been better spicy. Lack of sides such as veggies would've been great for this bowl or even seaweed if you chose the kimchi. The pork belly was a sweet marinade which is a terrible combo for the banh mi veggies or kimchi. The meat was pretty soggy and lack of crunch made the texture overall unappetizing. My partner got the Carne Asada bowl which was supposed to have spice, no spice was notated and texture made it like baby food. If they improved their Asian fusion portion of the menu, I'd consider coming back.

I travel to this area twice a year for a long time. I always eat here. I always arrive when they open. I always order the same thing. I hand the person behind the counter a small piece of paper with my order, and I ask, "Will this help?". They always laugh and say, "It sure will." I get my food in just a few minutes. Sometimes, before I hand them the piece of paper, they say, "Want what you had before?", with a big smile. The first time this happened, everybody behind the counter laughed. I have never been disappointed with the food or service.

This is the third trip over the last 7 years that we've eaten here. In our opinion, it wasn't as good this time as the the previous visits. The bang bang shrimp bowl was the best. The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla was very salty and greasy. We didn't even eat half of it. The pork belly burrito was really stringy and we didn't care for the sauce, too sweet. Based on this time alone, we probably wouldn't return. There are far too many consistently excellent restaurants in the area. I will say the staff has always been really nice here, but the food is what matters most.

It's been so long since dropping by MC Dank! Had a hankering (and forget there's a Dank Burrito in Raleigh now too). Got one of my faves there (I have several including all with pork belly!) Teriyaki Shrimp Bowl... like Kanki in a bowl with a hint of TexMex (in the rice and scattering of cilantro). Dressed with Yum Yum sauce! Now being that it's my most favorite dessert, usually must get crème brûlée there... They have vanilla AND Nutella and both are off the chart, exceptionally delicious, and few folks even know of that on their menu... But I saw churros on their Facebook page (not on the menu that I saw), and asked about those, they have and cooked those nice and hot and fresh. OMG! Ate half the Ter shrimp and 1 little churros... and having the rest for supper! SO damn good! The churro needs coffee on the side!! Having now as I write this. me some Dank Burrito! Wish they'd offer a Teriyaki Surf n' Turf like this just with part shrimp and part beef! Hint! Hint!

So freaking good! The Danksgiving Burrito is not too be missed. I've had it the last 3 years and it is truly one of the culinary highlights of my year. Had one last Sunday and it did not disappoint. Went back the next day and got the Truffle Honey Buffalo Burrito. That was solid as well. Love the place!

Had the burrito carne assada and my wife had the bang bang shrimp. The food was great. The service were also great. Very friendly. The ambient was clean and big. Great place to go

We sat out on the patio with our dogs and had a late afternoon lunch. The service/order was processed quickly and the food was amazingly good! I had the Cajun friend shrimp bowl and my daughter had the carne asada bowl. Both were excellent! The meat to other stuff ratio was on point. Very flavorful! The rice crispy treat was plain and the crème brûlée was good. I'd for sure go back if ever passing through again.

I cannot understate how badass this place is and how good the food it. Came in with my kids and they thought the food was amazing! I got two burritos and my goodness they are big. The carne asada is phenomenal!!! I will most certainly be back to this establishment every damn time my ship comes in. Great job being different from the other plain Jane establishments.

Ordered Dank Burrito for the first time yesterday through door dash. I got the cheesesteak burrito and since it was my first time I also ordered queso and guacamole to taste it all. The chips were amazing but most of my chips that came with the "chips and queso" appetizer were crushed. I did get a side of chips with the burrito and they were not as crushed. The queso was phenomenal but the quacamole was quite tart... a little too much lime for me and not much flavor otherwise. The cheesesteak burrito may have been the best burrito I've ever had, only the rice inside the burrito wasn't quite cooked all the way and was definitely rather crunchy. Other than that, the food was tasty, hot, and delivered within minutes! Will definitely eat here again.

Well... this is one stop we are sooooo happy we made while in town. This spot is amazing! The restaurant itself is very clean and spacious. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. These things all get solid 5 stars.. The food though... IT IS EPIC!! I had the teriyaki shrimp bowl with a side of guac.. What do the kids say? It's bussin' My daughter had the plain Jane soft tacos. We also had a brownie... Do yourself a favor.. GET DESSERT!! (The food needs 10 stars) Thank you for the great vibe and all around amazing time!!

Dank is always amazing and fresh! You can never go wrong with the mahi-mahi, shrimp burger, pork belly and jerk... ok all of it is great! And their homemade ranch with their chips.... Get out a here! Can't wait for our next visit!

Got my order wrong. Twice. Ordered a steak and cheese burrito and got the wrong thing. Went another time and got it wrong again. I understand the employees have good intentions but I am not pleased with the lack of care for getting my order correct. Food tastes good though. Would not recommend if your a picky eater like me and bent on getting your order picture perfect.

Simply amazing food. Great experience from pulling into the parking lot to getting our food. The outside is painted in a cool mural/street art style that's cool as all get out. That same style carries on inside as well, even the menu boards are cool. The staff is so friendly and welcoming it just gives you such a good vibe it's hard to describe. As far as the food, everything sounded so good so it was hard to decide, but we went with the Cajun Mahi Mahi bowl, the Pork Belly Tacos and the Birra Quesadilla. It couldn't be any clearer that an ultra talented chef is behind all these dishes, the flavors in each just were above and beyond anything I've had in this realm before.

The burritos here are AMAZING. The "catch of the day" burrito was spicy and savory. I would definitely recommend eating here!

I love the jerk chicken tacos. If they didn't have those I would still eat here over other places because of the fresh ingredients and unique options. Thankful for the drive thru because I always hit this place before and most the time after a beach trip. I have been really thinking...how about that mango salsa on a shrimp taco? I love the mango salsa!!

Pretty soloist burrito joint, mind you I had the jerk bowl, but the Borracho was fresh as well as the pico to Gallo and it kind of blend it together well I also like that they gave you chips and salsa as if you were sitting down at a restaurant but here you just had a burrito joint solid burrito I would give it a 3/5 will return and give the burritos a shot.

We popped in on three different occasions with our out-of-town guests visiting before and during the 2022 Big Rock Fishing tourney - everyone had heard about Dank Burrito and wanted to experience one of our local joints. During two lunches with another couple and a dinner with a six top, everyone was blown away by the mind-numbing selection and portion sizes, but they all shared the same complaint - the burritos and bowls were way too salty. We couldn't figure out if it was the rice & beans or the actual sauces used to flavor the proteins - even the table next to us leaned over and agreed. My Honey Truffle Buffalo Chicken burrito was the size of a small infant and featured a tangy slaw and fresh cilantro, but I had to scrape off most of the rice & beans just to taste the Buffalo sauce. (During our third visit, one of our guests asked a crew member at the bar if all the offerings were always so salty - the burrito jockey simply replied, "Well, not really." sigh!) The Cajun Fried Catch of the Day during two visits was tuna and was served up in both bowls and wraps to our friends, perfectly cooked to a medium rare. The Pork Belly bowl was insanely delicious and overflowed with a massive in portion of sticky, burnt end-like offerings, spicy kimchi, veggies and a sweet Thai chili sauce that rounded out the entire dish - certainly the highlight of our visits. The Cheesesteak Tacos were also tasty, featuring a nice garlic aioli and gooey cheese. All the entrees were served with crisp, seasoned tortilla chips and a tiny cup of pico. Keto and Paleo friendly salads are also offered.

This awesome spot hits the trinity -- great food, wonderful service, and an amazing atmosphere. The manager and her team were so helpful and patient with my wife and I as we had never eaten there before - they helped by giving samples and fair warnings to different heat levels! Can't wait to eat here again!

This meal is fantastic. We eat here as least twice every time we visit Atlantic Beach. The fish tacos are to die for! It is not much to look at, but the food is first rate.

This place is still 100% amazing! It's great to see they've expanded to other locations! My favorite things are their carne asada taco with kimchi and their truffle Mac and cheese! Get the queso with your chips and you won't regret it! They have a drive thru now too.

This place never fails to satisfy. It's becoming a tradition to drive to the other end of the island to get lunch. I rarely get the same thing at most restaurants. Here. I make that exception. The pork belly bowl is my all time favorite. Sadly. I now know that I won't see them for another year. I'd love for a franchise to open in Columbus.

[Coronavirus review] This place had a couple of spaced tables open for dine-in, a drive-through window, and regular takeout. The staff were wearing masks but were half-assing it a bit (not that I can't see their side of it given the heat inside). Signage points out that they are a burrito place, not a Mexican restaurant. They offer one vegetarian option, which ends up being mostly rice and beans. These were pretty tasty (and very salty) rice and beans in my burrito, and there was a bit of greens and some guacamole that I paid extra for, but it certainly wasn't impressive. Given the limited vegetarian options in the area, their "tree hugger" seemed popular nonetheless.

The food & service is always exceptional! The atmosphere is fun & inviting. Even on busy days/nights the dining areas are clean & well kept. Love the unique twist of options this restaurant provides to our area.

In one month in Atlantic Beach, this is the only place I went to more than once - their burritos are huge and delicious and I loved their queso. Highly recommend!

We ordered for our family while on vacation, all their bowls were so good and fresh. Gauc was not so fresh though. The spicy shrimp bowl was my favourite.
