On the Grid : Danny's

"There's not much to show or say about Danny's. But if you're in Bucktown and you are having a good time, chances are you will end up here in the midst of an impromptu dance party. Though, this is more a bar than a nightclub, they always have a dance floor open and typically feature a DJ." - Lee Zelenak

EVERYONE in Buffalo knows there is nothing like a bowl or multiple bowls of chicken wing soup from Danny's. You can have the soup and salad bar special (my fav) This way you can enjoy endless chicken wing soup or any of the other soups they have available that day. Don't forget the croutons! 😊 Then spend a few minutes building your salad with a wide array of fresh toppings and your favorite dressing! If soup and salad aren't your thing. You can chose something else from the menu. What? You ask. Anything, because everything is delicious! I have enjoyed, chicken wings, beef on weck, wraps and fish fry to name a few. Leave a nice tip for your server. They are excellent, courteous, and great at their job! Enjoy!

This place has some of the biggest portions you've ever seen, a large salad bar, and a bar! My steak was cooked to perfection. But, as an out of towner, I absolutely did not like the famous Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup! (sorry) 😄😄

Google
The food was ok. The clam chowder wasn’t the best tastes like flour. The buffalo soup was pretty Good. Both my husband and I got the fish fry. Fish was cooked to hard, and the baked potato was cold. But the salad bar was cool.

Google
Took hubby here for his Birthday dinner. First time here. Really loved the atmosphere. Very comfy, very clean and it smelled wonderful, like fall hehe Our waitress Wendy and all the staff were very friendly. Hubby had the Chicken Parm and actually said it was good and finished everything on his plate, a rarity for him! LOL I had the steak and cheese hoagie. I finished mine as well. We both left full and satisfied. Will visit again!

We were here for a private function, a Memorial. Service was excellent! The soup and salad bar was outstanding, with so much to choose from. The main meal was preselected by the hosts but everything was good. DON'T FORGET THE PEANUT BUTTER PIE!!! 😋

Google
The waitress was friendly and helpful. Food arrived quickly and were good portions for the price. Buffalo Wing Soup had great flavors, meat was a little tough. Chicken Florentine sandwich was tender but could have used additional seasoning. Veggie wrap was good. Made in house peanut butter pie was delicious! We would eat here again.

Yelp
In all the years me and my best friend have lived here, we never tried Danny's ... and we have been missing out! I ordered the fish sandwich and added on the soup and salad. It was way too much food for me but I felt very inclined to try this soup and salad bar set up. I'm not typically a soup girl, aside from my own delicious chicken and rice, so I wasn't expecting to love their soup so much but I did. There are 4 choices and they change them EXCEPT I think they always have their chicken wing soup. So I sampled each soup: chicken wing, pizza, chicken pot pie, and lentil. I really loved their homemade croutons too, which even included some made from rye bread that paired perfectly with the lentil. My favorite soup was actually the pizza soup (which I expected not to like at all!) and my second favorite was the chicken wing soup. The salad was bar was decent, included pasta salad and garlic breadsticks and some other type of flavored slice bread I didnt get to try as I was too full. My fish sandwhich was great ... it does have toppings, but I requested mine plain. Fries were good too, although I only ate 2 because I was too full for this as well lol. My friend enjoyed his meal too although I can't remember what he got. Plenty of seating and at least 6 handicap pparking spots. Waitress and hostess was nice - didn't interact with bartender but she was nice to the people she did interact with. Ambiance is casual and sort of old fashioned but with good food and service it's a small sacrifice! Soft drinks are Coke products.

Yelp
The service was great and the salad bar is always great, and I love the chicken wing soup, what I ordered was the fabulous fish fry, it was nicely seasoned along with fries, it was delicious the waitress made sure everything was fine at our table. This is a very nice restaurant to dine at, and this restaurant brings back so many beautiful memories

Yelp
Really no complaints about this place the haddock was fried hard to my liking and not mushy underneath. For an extra 5$ you can add the salad bar to any meal , a home cooked food kind of spot who's been around definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Danny's is a favorite neighborhood staple. I hadn't been there in a while, but for me, they have never disappointed. I got the turkey dinner special. It was something like $22 or so. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Also included the soup and salad bar for free instead of the regular $6 up charge. The soup and salad are so good (4 soups to choose from) that I took the whole turkey dinner home. Delicious. It's like that corner bar meets home style cooking. And ALWAYS get the chicken wing soup!

Yelp
Very friendly staff and food is pretty decent. Love the salad bar and soup. Even though our first visit here, but somewhat, this cozy place made us feel we're at second home!! I'll be back again if I'm back in town!

Yelp
This place has gone so far down hill that the health department should shut it down! The food including the soup and salad bar is plain disgusting.. Too bad. It was such a fantastic restaurant and pleasant dinner location. But no longer!

Mij Y.

Yelp
We went to Danny's for the first time in quite a few years and what a terrible disappointment. It's a shame how far this once excellent restaurant has fallen. The first thing that hits you is the aweful smell and just how dirty everything is now. We of course did the once famous soup and salad bar to much discuss... The chicken wing and potato soups was terrible. The soups were so bad we couldn't eat them. The salad bar had old wilted lettuce and tomatoes. The bread and croutons were stale and the cucumbers were slimy. Beware that the restaurant is definitely in need of a life line...

Yelp
I got the Stake in the grass for the cheap unlimited salad and soup. The salad was sad iceberg lettuce and some pieces were moldy. I let the server know, but nothing was done about it. The soup is always good, but the stake was watery, underseasoned and a sad excuse for meat, very small for the price. The waitress was short with us and we saw none of her during our time here.

Yelp
Went out for dinner the other night since neither of us felt like cooking. Which is probably the best reason to go out for food. We liked Danny's from the last time we got it. I got just a normal burger this time with fries. My wife got a chicken sandwich with some of their chicken vegetable soup. My burger was cooked exactly how I wanted and it was delicious. The toppings were great too with the cheese melted to perfection and the lettuce tasted fresh and crisp. My one drawback was the fries. They were good. But it felt like we should've had a few more for the meal. Service was excellent! I ordered ahead and when I went to pick up, it was hot and ready to go. I was out the door in lightning speed. Overall, it's a great little spot to get a meal that tastes like a home cooked dinner when you don't feel like cooking for yourself.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years with multiple people raving about how great Danny's buffalo chicken wing soup is because that's what it's known for in Buffalo. Seem to take a turn for the worse Don't think I'm ever coming back here again. First time I heard buffalo chicken wings soup but there's no chicken in it. There was a few potatoes I found so basically it was hot potato soup. I had five bowls of soup and I felt like I was fishing in a lake with no fish. I even said something to the waitress who did not seem in good spirits and really didn't seem to care about our complaint

Yelp
First, I have no complaints with the servers. They were personal and attentive. Also, the Mushroom-Swiss burger along the skin-on fries (not homemade) were enjoyed by another person in my party. Now on to the bad: For most of the menu, it lacked of originality and freshness. I was considering the Italian pasta dishes and asked the server if the sauce was homemade. She wrinkled her nose and said, "No, it's from a can." Hard pass on that! I ended up with their "famous soup and salad bar" and was disappointed with my choice. The lettuce was a bag salad consisting mosty of white iceberg lettuce. There was no other variety offered. While the salad bar came recommended, I was disappointed in choices of toppings (beets/chick peas/grape tomatoes/broccoli/carrot coin slices/purple onion slices/white mushroom slices/sliced banana peppers) all of which lookrd prepackaged and were tasteless. If you can envision a Sizzler, Ponderosa or Golden Corral salad bar, this was not that! There were 4 options of salad dressing (French/Ranch/Italian/Balsamic)., I inquired about Bleu Cheese (this is Buffalo remember) and they told me it was for an upcharge of $1 for 2 spoonfuls. I finished the salad bar off with canned diced peaches in heavy syrup. I want to mention there was also an oil based Italian pasta salad that looked like you could buy it in the grocery store deli. Now on to the soup bar: My options included two cream based concoctions, chicken wing soup and fajita meatball, The CW soup had a good base flavor but large 2" cubes of potatos overtook the CW flavor and turned it into a potato-CW soup. The fajita-meatball soup fell victim to the same thing and lacked flavor. The other two soups (yes, I tried all of them in the very small soup cups provided) were a Turkey-Barley soup and a Beef Florentine soup. The TB soup, while having potential, was bland and lacked any spices including salt &pepper. I finished off with the BF soup which had a good taste but was overrun with sliced carrots. If you got carrots on your spoon, the BF flavor was gone and it became Carrot Soup. Potatos would have been a good addition here. All-in-all, the food was not of a quality for either one of us to want a return visit.

Yelp
This place is old school inside but with modern high prices. For example, their bowl of chicken wing soup is good, but for $7.56 it's way over priced.

Yelp
Always great food at a reasonable price and fast / friendly service. Soup and salad bar are awesome with great selection. I recommend the fish fry, steaks and even the liver and onions. My personal reliable spot.

Yelp
We were driving around Buffalo and the suburbs trying to find a place to go to dinner on a Saturday night. Like Goldilocks, we drove to two different restaurants with no luck. The first one was too crowded, the next one was loud and with limited food, and then we decided to go to Dannys. Even though many people in the area are familiar with this restaurant, this was my first visit. Upon walking in, the place was relatively quiet and we were seated immediately. The food was decently priced, but you do get what you pay for. The rum and coke had a lot of ice, the draft beer was comparatively pricey, the steak was incredibly good, and so was liver and onions was decent. Also, many are fond of their soup and salads specials, which is generally a good deal. If you are looking for a place to go for a good meal, for something more low key, and to support a local business which has been a local favorite, I'd recommend coming here. Also, I'd recommend coming here if you are looking for a well made steak for a decent price (roughly $20).

Yelp
Danny's is our go-to when we're in the mood for an AYCE salad bar in our neck of the woods. Danny's is known for their soup and salad bar. Alone it costs $14.99. Or for $4.99 you can add it to any meal. Being the forever cheap'o that I am, I almost always order a cheese quesadilla for $10.99 and add the salad bar, for a total of $15.98. That way it feels like I paid 99-cents for the cheese quesadilla on top of the salad bar. :-D I love an excellent salad bar, and Danny's is pretty good. But I'm docking a star for a few suggested areas of improvement: ** One mark of an excellent salad bar that Danny's is missing is eggs. For $14.99, adding some chopped eggs or hard-boiled eggs seems like a reasonable ask, especially since egg prices are starting to level out again. ** A fantastic salad bar usually has more than one cheese option, too. Danny's usually just has shredded mozzarella. A crumbly blue and/or feta would be great. ** Black and/or green olives are missing from the line-up too, also a staple of a top-notch salad bar. ** And all of the soups are typically meat-based--even the vegetable soups. As a vegetarian I have yet to have any of Danny's soups. The salad bar usually include five or six soups. It would be nice if on occasion one of them was vegetarian, like if the vegetable soup or cheddar broccoli soup was made with vegetable broth instead of chicken broth for a change. (Or, hear me out, make your famous chicken wing soup base with vegetable broth instead of chicken broth, and use cauliflower instead of chicken for a vegetarian version of your famous soup! Doesn't hurt to ask, haha.) None of these seem like too tall of an order, as the only reason I mention it is other great salad bars I am familiar with include these options, and sometimes many more. So I'm just throwing it out there. But by and large, my husband and I are usually pretty happy when we land at Danny's for a salad bar dinner. The restaurant has that friendly local-Cheers sort of vibe, parking is easy, and prices are reasonable. So we'll be back to Danny's again when we're in the mood to mow-down on some endless greens.

Yelp
My husband and I frequently go to Danny's on Fridays. They have delicious fish fry's. Today ( Thursday) we went to Danny's.... Soooo disappointed. I ordered the turkey dinner. The turkey was definitely turkey cold cut that was sliced thicker. Not fresh turkey. They gave about 4 - 4 inch pieces on top of a ton of stove top stuffing.... YES stovetop stuffing. I told the waitress I was surprised they use stovetop and that I hate it. She took it back told the cook and they removed it from my plate. Now my plate looked empty. My husband ordered stuffed shells. The shells had hardly any cheese in them . They gave 5 shells and you could easily tell they were frozen shells just heated. WHAT HAPPENED TO DANNYS?? $51.00 and it was a terrible meal! I won't be going back. There are way too many restaurants that serve fresh food and a lot more appealing and appetizing for $22 a plate. 0 stars if it allowed

Yelp
The place look really nice and inviting, lots of wood. Great soup and salad bar. My husband thought the spicy chicken wing soup was awesome and spicy! He made a whole meal of the soup and salad bar (choice of 4 soups each day). I had chicken Florentine. Great! The fried potatoes were awesome! The service was spot on! Was quick with the refills, checking with us.

Yelp
Good Easter Brunch. Service was great and I love a salad bar. Definitely a good choice for a holiday meal that doesn't cost a fortune. Nice touch by adding Easter Candy throughout the restaurant to scoop with a spoon - that was a fun addition. I'd come back but would like more options on the menu. The atmosphere is okay - they could use some repairs on the floors.

Yelp
I love Danny's, and have been here many times for both lunch and dinner. I especially love the soup and salad bar, and I usually just get that as my meal. I'm addicted to their Buffalo Wing soup, and just thinking about it makes me hungry. There's always 4 soups to choose from, and many salad toppings. Additionally, there's usually antipasto salad, potato salad, and a 1-2 other salads to choose from. They'll also bring freshly baked breadsticks to your table if you ask. Service here is usually pretty good too. Highly recommend Danny's for a great meal, and their fantastic Buffalo Wing soup.

Yelp
It was really good thanks for the great experience and great service!!! We had a phenomenal time

Yelp
I left my purse at the restaurant and the servers went out of their way to message me on instagram to let me know that they found it and would keep it safe. I highly recommend the service ! amazing !

Yelp
Danny's is a great place to eat. It is also a great place great food and service. Always friendly and attentive. When dining they make you feel welcomed. The soups !!!! That's on a whole other level ! 4 different home made soups daily . The chicken wing soup is award winning year after year. Let's just say if you have not tried Danny's yet you really need to!

Yelp
We were in Buffalo, NY for the weekend. We stayed at a hotel across from the airport on Genessee St. Note: Also have another Danny's in Orchard Park. The hotel courtesy driver recommended Danny's. She told us that it would be best to make a reservation for Fri or Sat night dining. So we stopped in at 4pm, had a drink and made our dinner reservation for 6pm. Hours: Sunday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Thursday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Friday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Saturday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM We moved our reservation from a table to the bar. We were greeted by the friendly bartender, Melinda. She brought our drinks ($8ea), menus and answered all our questions. Danny's has Fish Fry Fridays and "Buffalo's Favorite soup (4 choices, including Buffalo Wing Soup) & salad bar ($15.99"). We had two very good meals. My bride had the sirloin steak 8 oz.($19) cooked medium as she ordered it, with potato & mixed veg. I had the oxymoron vegetable pasta w/ Italian sausage ($18) - served hot, tasty, and an extremely generous dinner. Yes, I did take half to go. A very good value for our dinners. We had a very nice time at this friendly spot for locals and visitors. Melinda was friendly & helpful during our two hours visit. Thank you. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY

Yelp
Everything at the Danny's near the airport has gone DOWN hill! The extra two dollar charge for soup and salad bar with the dinner meal purchase was at first a shock, then utter disappointment, because both soup, and salad were subpar, to say the least. The fish fry was not the original quality I had grown to expect, and the atmosphere in the place clearly showed that nobody was happy to be there... I have gone there for over twenty years, and will never go back again. I believe they made a huge mistake in raising the price of the soup/salad bar while lowering the quality at the same time! The rise in the price of produce is not an excuse to basically rob, previously loyal customers! Needless to say, there was no line out the door, or ten to fifteen minute wait for a table on a friday night, and there won't be again I'm sure. Two thumbs down for Danny's for still charging us for the disgusting entree' that my daughter only tasted, and couldn't eat because of the oversaturation of sauce! Never again! a twenty dollar entree' should at the very least appear to taste good...We took nothing to go, and left as quickly as possible..., unsmiling...
google avatar

Yelp
You have to do the soup & salad bar. They will have about 4 options of soup. Prices are really good, portion sizes are large. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Barbara G.

Yelp
Great food, great prices, and great wait staff. I'd go more often but it gets so crowded.... that's how you know the food is good though. So we usually go there during the week and there is no waiting as the place is really large. There is a bar and sometimes your table is near it which I don't like as it gets noisy, but the good food makes up for it. You can't compare their fish frys, or their roast beef on weck. Out of this world. And to top it off they have an all you can eat soup and salad bar. As per another review, there was never a smell in there and we go there often. It's always clean and the wait staff are out of this world, The ambiance is wonderful. As I read the few reviews I shake my head. Are we talking about the same place? I go to the one in Cheektowaga. This is not a high-end restaurant like The Cheese Factory, or some other high class place. This is a bar with excellent food. I'm a germ freak and I wouldn't go to a dirty place. I love Danny's.

Yelp
We arrived here for my girlfriend's birthday dinner with her parents and it was phenomenal. We walked in and were seated immediately with our choice of a booth or table. It seems like a family type of restaurant. There is a bar right at the door that you can sit at. The noise level is average and the seats are pretty close together. Servers are very attentive and don't give you a hassle. Their soup and salad bar is fantastic with plenty of choices! I was so impressed, I forgot to take pictures, but I will be back! I ordered the filet mignon that came with mashed potatoes and carrots. The steak was cooked to my exact desires and tender. The mashed potatoes came with a gravy that I really enjoyed! The carrots are soaked in a butter water, I would've passed on those, but they cannot be substituted.

Donald S.

Yelp
Haven't been here for over 2 years. We were seated by a friendly wait staff. We both had the quick lunch option. Soup, salad bar and mini beef on weck. Soup choose of 4 types, all very good, salad bar was good too, coming from someone who doesn't do salads. And my beef on weck was good. The food here never fails. But the staff makes it wonderful, friendly and helpful. I can't say anything bad about this restaurant. Food is great, people are great. We will be back. We were blessed today by a 3 top that sat next to us today. A gentleman and a couple sat next to us. They paid and left before us, the waitress came over in a few minutes and told us that the table next to us paid for mine and my brides meal. Yes you got it ringer.!!!!!! It does happen. We are Blessed!

Sandy K.

Yelp
Good choices of food. Many different options from salads to wraps as well as Buffalo specialties. The chicken wing soup is just okay. We had a member in our party who asked about croutons in a salad because she has Celiac disease and can't eat gluten. The server said no croutons and then brought it out with pita bread on it! Then I went to use the restroom and it was dirty and freezing . Seriously, it's Buffalo. Get some heat in there. Won't be back anytime soon. Too many other choices to put up with that
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
First time there, and was back twice in for days. (We were only in Buffalo for 4 days) FOOD was great, Service fast a friendly. Chicken Wing Soup & Spicy sausage fantastic. Beef on Weck one night and Steak sandwich the other. Highly recommended. Even if it's a bit out of your way it's worth it. Thanks, and Chris (the shuttle driver from Holiday Inn, @ the airport) for the suggestion.

Matthew D.

Yelp
Disappointing. Used to come here all the time as a kid and it was amazing. Did the soup and salad bar which is $14.99 but they had signs staying with rising produce prices $2 up charge. I get everything is more expensive but just put a sticker on your menu. Sort of tacky to put up signs and tell everyone well it won't be that way forever. The salad bar for being small was good. The soups god awful! Famous chicken wing soup hardly had chicken in it, mostly cheese and flour. Pizza soup god awful, putting pepperoni in tomato soup doesn't make it pizza. Broccoli cheddar super thick and not good. Server wasn't bad but not the nicest. I don't think the inside has changed since 20 years ago when I came with my parents. Sorry to say I won't be coming back.

John G.

Yelp
went for Easter dinner and was very disappointed. Had to send steak back twice , my sisters prime rib was very tough and fatty . Desserts were obviously prepackaged. Never again !
google avatar

Amber J.

Yelp
Ordered from here for Yelp's supporting-local-businesses day (I forgot to do this earlier!) and was not too disappointed. We ordered Pizza logs as appetizers, Romano chicken with angel hair pasta, and the Burger Special. The Pizza logs were big but a bit too greasy. :( The chicken breast of the Romano chicken order was all right but the angel hair pasta was a lumpy mess. It wasn't really salvageable, unfortunately. The Romano chicken came with a roll which was pretty good though. The burger was probably the best out of the three items we ordered. The meat was pretty juicy and the it just tasted like a classic, decent burger. The delivery came quickly, but again, probably won't get pasta for takeout from here... maybe the other items on the menu (e.g. hoagies and sandwiches) may be better.

June H.

Yelp
Love the chicken wing soup. Disappointed they added extra charge for salad bar...it's not on the menu.... didn't know until we got our bill!!
google avatar

Alexandra S.

Yelp
We came here on a rec from a friend who got the rec from an Uber driver coming back to the Buffalo airport. We loved the local feel of the place, the food & price were great! It was the perfect stop on the way out, way better than eating at the airport terminal.

Yelp
We stopped at Danny's at 5 on a Saturday afternoon. It's a large place that advertises itself as buffalo style food. They are apparently known for their soup and salad bar. I ordered an open face steak sandwich with baked potato. It comes with coleslaw. Danny's steak sandwich is a dollar cheaper and comes with fries. But I asked the waitress if they were fresh or frozen and when she said frozen I opted for the dish that gave me a choice of potato. Both the steak and potato were fine. My wife and I also sampled the buffalo chicken soup. This is a thick and creamy concoction that is also quite spicy, and we enjoyed it. My wife ordered the reuben sandwich which comes with chips. The sandwich itself was quite loaded with meat and she enjoyed it a lot. The waitress was helpful, but could have been a little more friendly. We may well stop by again when we're in the neighborhood.

Yelp
This might be the single grossest dining experience I've ever had. So the first thing to note is that there's a smell. It's that soggy bar smell mixed with fish. When I ate here there were actually people at a nearby table holding their nose. The service was slow so we had lots of time to notice other things like how filthy the floors were, or how there was a noticable layer of grime on the windows right near tables. The food was pretty mediocre, warm at best, mushy. Nobody in my party actually enjoyed their meal, the burger in particular was like a hockey puck, shame because we'd heard such good things about this place.

Yelp
The employees are very welcoming and polite The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Our waitress,Cheryl ,was lovely. She checked in on us and was so nice to us. The food is very filling, the atmosphere of the restaurant is like a homey farmhouse. Over all a 10/10

Yelp
I wish I took a picture so I just have to describe these amazing bourbon wings. The flavor and amount of crisp was perfect. I was unsure of the flavor originally but I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend the bourbon wings. The restaurant overall is a western New York staple.

Mary P.

Yelp
Danny's is always exceptional. Very crowded, but that's to be expected because of the great food, very generous portions and value. We were there in very nice weather on Friday evening and we were able to get a table on the porch which had a beautiful view of the lake. All four of us had the fish fry and agreed that it couldn't be better (and we had yummy take home leftovers for lunch the next day!). We always make a special trip to Danny's when we are in Western New York and will continue to do so!
google avatar

Carol S.

Yelp
Although they have a fabulous fish fry, the place itself is tired and shabby. Every surface is covered with nonsense, the rugs are filthy. Our server Ashley was top notch, friendly, efficient and could not have been nicer. The same could not be said for the young hostess who had a scowl on her face as she stomped around obviously having a bad day. I could have clogged her at the end of her shift because there was a different very congenial Next time I will go to the Southtown location which is much nicer. If I was only reviewing the food and service I would score a five, but the place is so tired and cluttered it ruins the experience.

Yelp
Danny's is a place I've gone to many times, and like many have commented they've changed throughout the years. I still think the place is super okay, not great but not bad. I do like their soup and salad bar and typically I come here and get that and take a meal home for another day. That said, I love the wing soup. It's always been super good but I did notice in this most recent visit there was a ton of potato and not a ton of chicken which was something I didn't remember happening. The other soups don't really matter to me as I don't come here for them hah. Food otherwise is pretty average, nothing special and nothing in particular being done to excite you. The clientele in this place continues to age and we were definitely some of the youngest in the place but that's okay! I don't come here super often but it's still a nice place and a good family restaurant.

Yelp
Makayla our waitress was awesome! We observed her multi-tasking as bartender and waitress at this great establishment! Makayla was friendly and more than professional! She made us immediately feel welcome! She had great recommendations to NEW:Spicy Honey Garlic with Sesame seeds! Totally delicious and cooked perfectly! I also had the infamous Buffalo Chicken Wing soup! A slow burn w chicken, carrots celery and creamy base! We ordered Chicken Slovaki, Hot Stuffed Peppers as an appetizer, Beef on Weck with a heaping load of fries. My colleagues also had desserts ! Huge slices of Peanut butter pie, Tamisu, Chocolate and Pecan pie were the choices! No pictures due to this was a meeting and my colleagues were starving and had some of them had a 2 hour drive ahead of them after 8 p.m. Place was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking spaces. Good turn it out /crowd. Sign says to wear masks if you are not vaccinated. Basic rules regarding Covid-19 safety. It appeared to be short staffed but they worked with ease in getting customers to tables and swiftly putting the food on our table! TIP THEM BIG because they are doing the work of 2-3 workers! Only 1 side had the salad bar open. Fresh, clean sections of many options to choose from. The soups were 4 options. Buffalo Chicken Wing, Cheddar Broccoli , Chicken & Dumplings and I honestly forgot the last 1! (Sorry) We will back soon for the staff and good food!

Yelp
I've been a customer of this location and Orchard Park for years. I can honestly say after several dining experiences since the pandemic the quality of food and service has deteriorated. I especially feel the service at the airport location has been rude and curt. The quality of food just not the same. Tasteless soups, odd flavors, and salad bar just not fresh.

Yelp
Owned by Danny DeVito and Danny Wahlberg. You know, Marky Mark's brother? No? Nobody? You're all unimpressed? Wow, what a funky bunch you are. Danny's is renowned for their Buffalo-style food, and their wings are perhaps what more people come here for than anything else. They're much better in-house than at the Wing Festival (probably because they're hotter and fresher when you get them at Danny's itself). I've probably had them 3 times in the time I've lived in Buffalo, most recently about 5 months ago. I share them with my bff who works about 2 mins walk from Danny's. Good stuff. She likes them more than I do, they haven't cracked my best 20 wings in Buffalo, but they're also better than average, especially if you ask for the medium extra saucy. I'd much rather eat at Danny's than Denny's. Amirite.

Yelp
Best place in Buffalo to eat!! Food is excellent with a huge variety & the service is better than any other place I have been so far while I get to visit this GREAT city. The owner was a sweet blond woman who was busting her butt doing EVERYTHING because as most places, we're understaffed. Haven't really seen that at other places here and I APPRECIATED her and the staff...Even got to see her check a customer for acting entitled:) Great to see as usually it's the employee dealing with these type of people and the employee ends up getting chastised by the Employer. 5 stars & the pork chops are DELICIOUS!!!

Yelp
Ordered the loaded Nachos. $14.99 that came with beef or chicken. I asked if the beef was mixed with pork or all beef. The person who took my order paused, I said I'm asking because I don't eat pork. 30 minutes later I picked up order and beef was burnt, loaded nacho chips cheese on the beef was same color of the beef. I was very confused not surprised by it, just confused on how a restaurant that been in business for so long still have the heart to discriminate with the people who wish to order food. This should have never happened, Sadly I know it will. Things need to change.

Yelp
The sandwich was soggy. We ordered pasta and no utensils to eat it with. The pizza roll had no description that it contained pepperoni, which we end up not eating. My daughter does not meat.
