9:15 a.m., the beach was deserted and the shore was huge! The youngsters in our group had a superb time playing in the soft sand. We all enjoyed swimming out to the raft and bobbing in the waves. Two of us walked to Dantita via the rocks/beach. It was spectacular as well.
As the day progressed, the shore slowly disappeared as the tide came in and the waves got bigger. We enjoyed body surfing for quite some time.
Take note, there are no public bathrooms.
There are several trails you can take for a hike from the public parking area. We paid 3000 CRC to park for the day.
This might be one of our favourite beaches along this coast. So nice not to have a pile of people. The villas in the hills give a very European vibe.
