Daphne European Skincare & Sugaring Studio

Got a facial here in the fall (was just looking to book one and realized I forgot to leave a review). This was my first time at Daphne- my friend made the appointment for me- she was told the owner would be at the getting that day and would help recommend the facial I should get. I booked in for the longest most expensive one just to make sure I saved enough time for my booking to get the best experience. The day got away from me a little bit so I basically ran there to make sure I was on time which I was. I checked in, the woman at the front desk just said "oh you booked my favorite facial" and told me to sit in the waiting area (3'x3' nook next to bathroom) I waited there for half an hour. Finally the facialist came out and said sorry my last client ran late with an eye roll. And that she was ready to see me now even though it meant she was going to have to work through her lunch break. Why the lady at the front desk couldn't call me when the previous client rolled in half an hour behind schedule is beyond me, I would have happily used that time doing anything other that sitting in a toilet foyer. Great way to start a $600 experience. We get thru the facial. No consultation, no apologies for the lateness, she's rushing. I needed skin care products so I but another $700 worth of stuff at the register. Neither of these women apologize to me for being so late. Neither of them offer to throw me a little I'm sorry discount or anything to account for this unprofessionalism and lack of consideration for their clients time. Oh then the facialist- who had just moved there from a Botox salon (how this relates to organic skincare is another leap in my book) tosses a card at me saying I should come back in a month. This level of manners is gonna get you a review 4 months late not a repeat client. For $1300 go anywhere else fam. It ain't worth it. (BTW the expensive products were as meh as the treatment. I get more compliments on my skin when I use stuff that's a fraction of the price).

I love Daphne. All kind women here. Incredible facialists. The space is a quiet and cozy sanctuary. I’ve received my fair share of facials, but after discovering Daphne there’s no place else I’ll go. I hope they stay open my entire life! The owner is so sweet thank you Gia!

this was my second time at daphnes and i wont be going back. not a relaxing spa experience, the facialist didn't explain anything that was going on, gave me so much attitude, rude, didn't even ask if i had any allergies! super red flag. id rather go somewhere where you feel welcomed and not awkward and scared to say something to your facialist if you're going to be spending that much on a facial. the person checking in was also rude and not welcoming. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. THERE'S SO MANY SPAS IN NYC YOU'D THINK THEY WOULD WANT LOYAL CUSTOMERS TO RETURN. also feels like they're always trying to upsell. also feel like they didn't give me a treatment i asked for because they ran out of something, felt like a lie? really really rude and bad service.

I'm sorry to say after a friend's recommendation and a week of looking forward to my appointment, this place is not for me. The storefront is inviting and the front desk person is sweet. The rooms are cramped and the products smelled bad. The technician was thorough but non-communicative. Her feedback on my skin was harsh and she only explained her process when I asked direct questions. Also, she reached down my robe to massage between my breasts without warning- I would have appreciated a check-in. There was confusion with my initial booking so I emailed back and forth with someone. I specified my interest in the micro current facial. They booked me for a more expensive facial which did not include micro current. Unfortunately, this was not made clear to me until half way though my treatment so I spent a lot more than I had budgeted. Of course I paid and tipped because the work was done, but their lack of communication cost me 100$. If you're hardcore and want quiet, painful skincare then go for it- but right now I feel like this place beat me up and robbed me.

What the actual hell. I’ve come 4 times during business hours to purchase products and waited outside for 20 min, then checked back between errands. This place is a joke. This back in 5 min sign has been up for over an hour. Get it together!

I ADORED my facial at Daphne. I saw Kasia for the European Facial, she checked in with me on what my skin concerns were, whether or not I wanted to do steam and extractions, and a history of my skin before starting. She chose fantastic products to use on me and described what treats what. I love being walked through what is being used on my skin and the benefits of each product. It was so relaxing and I felt so taken care of. I left the studio texting all my group chats they they have to go to Daphne for their next spa facials! Cannot wait to go back again!

Highly Recommend!! Natalya was incredible! She was kind, informative and gentle. My skin is feeling & looking better than it has in years. I purchased the products she recommended and it has been really working well so far. The body wrap was great as well! I immediately noticed a difference. I can't wait to go back!

During spa week, the team at Daphne mixed my appointment with someone (event hough I had the confirmation email) else which caused inconvenience on my end. The front desk was not very nice or welcoming. Secondly, the guest expected to pay a required 30% gratuity based on full price, even though the service was $50 vs $300. Unfortunately, Daphne does not pay their employees well and did not want to upset them - per the front desk. I ended trying another amazing spa 2 blocks down which had amazing services and a welcome smile :)

This is my place for a monthly facial! My esthetician, Jasmine, really took her time to see what my skin type is as well as my specific goals. I appreciate that high-level of care and detail, because it definitely justifies the price!

When a Texan comes to NY for a getaway, she gets a facial. This place is tucked away in little Italy and has a beautifully friendly and informative staff. My aesthetician was kind and brutal with the extractions, which I loved. It included the usual face wash, exfoliation, extraction, clarifying mask and deep moisturizing components ending with sunscreen. My only note, I was never ever told the price. Even at check out, a number wasn't even spoken. I played a guessing game with myself before I checked my bank account and my mouth fell open. Partially my fault for not even inquiring! It's a funny story today, a shocking realization at the time. Overall, I'd still recommend!

Came here last month for a sugaring service for the first time. I won't be back. The young lady at the front desk was pleasant. The woman who performed my service was not friendly at all. Usually when getting waxed or sugared the technician does guided breathing to help with the discomfort. My tech here did not do that at all. Later that night I noticed that my thighs were severely bruised from the service. This has never happened at all. I emailed the spa and someone called me the following day to check on me. They advised that it may have been the technique used or low iron levels and that I should call back if the bruising doesn't go away....It eventually went away. Overall it wasn't a good experience and I won't be back. The space is tight but everyone wore masks.

I had a horrible experience with the dermaplaning facial recently. Yes, this is the dermaplaning that left four knife scars on my face. My face is now even worse from the almost $500 facial than it was before the facial. It wasn't noticeable until day 3 after the redness died down from the facial but I have at least four knife SCARS from the dermaplaning (please see attached photos). I have done dermaplaning before and it has never happened. I should have known something was amiss when I went home and my face was not smooth at all. It wasn't even glowing- just red with a lot of acne bumps. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt because maybe that's how it works? It gets worse before it gets better? Upon the second day, my redness died down but all my acne and blackheads/whiteheads were still as visible as ever. Considering I paid an extra $60 for extraction, I would have thought there would be actual extraction performed? I chose to ignore that because whatever- I will just get an extraction next month. I will just cover it up with makeup or something. I wasn't going to stressed over this. I saw one scar yesterday that I chose to ignore (not everyone's perfect right?) UNTIL I woke up this morning with even more scars. This is just unacceptable. This is a service I paid for to perform a job I expected to be performed properly. Having a scarred face is the worst. It's a total nightmare. The entire point of getting a facial is so you come out with better looking skin. But as everyone can see from the post facial photos- I have even worse skin. The service and attention was nice but the scarring- no. That's horrible.

I've received about 5 facials so far here with Jade, she is incredibly knowledgable and has such radiant positive energy. The entire Daphne team has always treated me with kindness as well. I often arrive a bit stressed and city worn, and though the spa is small (I actually like it this way! Not too "medical") it really does take me away from life pressures. I find time to not only receive a functional, soothing, sensibly luxurious and accurately priced facial but also to mentally rest, restore, repair. Ideally I would come to see Jade every 3 to 4 weeks. But usually it is once every other month or so. It's always exactly what my skin needs, I leave glowing but more importantly the quality of my skin improves a few days after, and healing improves. Regularity is key. Having the P50 I think is essential.

I love their services, too bad Natalia is gone, she was awesome, their prices have been escalating too much, thinking on finding a new place for facials sadly...

It's time to update my review. I've been going to this place and specifically to Anastasia for over a year now. They are both amazing. Once you reach the place, they take your temperature and have you sign a waiver of typical covid symptom questionnaire. I've been seeing Anastasia for over a year and I have problematic skin: cystic acne in mid 30s which are getting better but complicated by maskne now. Be sure to request for Anastasia if you visit Daphne, she's excellent for both facials and dermaplaning. I cannot recommend her highly. The Biologique products are great too. I started off using p50 1970 (still using it). Serum: iribiol and creme dermopurifiante. Now: p50 1970, serum: placenta, and dermopurifiante during the day and acides de frutes in PM for resurfacing. Right after my treatments I has creme vernix and don't use p50 for about 5-7 days.

I've been coming here for my travel size reups. I'm usually in and out because I know what I want and it's usually just the P50. I like the Usual front desk lady without the foreign accent because she very accommodating but the older one who seems European was very condescending. I asked her what I could get for my pores. She dismissed me with, " oh it's genetics " . Girl , it's 2019 everyone can change anything with money and this is New York City 10013 in a neighborhood with the wealthiest people. I went to rescue spa and they helped me out with dermapore, and the placenta cream. Also that whole demeanor doesn't rock btw miss European, it's very poor taste. it's very social climbing. Get some etiquette class

Natalya is amazing! So thorough and gentle, yet really serious about skin. I've been getting facials for years and she is the best. I'm always so happy with my splurge when I walk out of Daphne.

I've been seeing Jade for sugaring for a couple years now, and I recently also started seeing her for facials. She's incredible! I always feel as though I'm in the hands of an expert when I see her. She takes the time to explain each process and procedure, and she's able to give targeted recommendations for skincare based on my needs. My recent facial left my glowing and with much needed hydration after some time in the sun. I felt like a new person--and I had none of the redness or irritation that I sometimes have after a facial/extractions. When I see her for sugaring, the process is as painless as can be. Beyond this, Jade is intuitive, kind, patient, and easy to talk to. I always feel at ease in her presence, and we often get to chatting as if we were old friends. She has wonderful energy, and it's easy to be comfortable around her. Daphne itself is a wonderful, soothing place to visit. It smells amazing, appointment booking is easy and professional, and it has an intimate vibe. I never feel rushed in or out. Can't recommend the salon or Jade and her work enough!

My experience at Daphne was everything I hoped for. I visited for a facial after a friend recommended it, and it exceeded my expectations. The esthetician, Kasia, was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The treatment was personalized to my skin concerns and the esthetician recommended products without being too pushy. Super relaxing experience, and I will be coming back!

I am leaving this review not for the wonderful esthetician -- Nataliya -- but for the horrendous attitude of the lady at the front desk. Her name was Juliana, and she completely ruined the wonderful experience I was having. I booked through Spa Week, and when I was ready to pay, I was told that the total would be $90. Juliana had already insisted instead of me what gratuity I would be paying. The total procedure was $50, and she claimed that I had to leave a $40 tip. My problem is not with the amounts here, but with the attitude with which she tried to belittle my questions when I tried to inquire further. She also lied to me and told me that she had sent an email stating this fine print. I had never received an email from Daphne before, and when I mentioned this, she grew even more irritated and started to lecture me about the policies. Funny enough, when I asked her for a receipt at the end, she said she emailed me. Again, no email. So I stood there waiting for a receipt for 15 minutes while she tried fixing whatever was going on with her laptop glitches. Completely unprofessional.

Jade is hands down the best aesthetician I've ever had. I started looking for a new waxing place in December. I've been seeing Jade ever since. She is very meticulous and has great attention to detail. She never leaves a single hair untouched. Her sugaring technique is relatively less painful than other technicians I've had. Sugaring itself is less painful than waxing in general. The salon is relaxing and calm, even though it's small. The receptionist is very knowledgeable about the products and services.

Sugaring with Natalya was great, her technique was good and is one if the better ones I've tried in NYC. The studio is very tranquile and they were able to accommodate me running late due to subway issues (thanks mta). One star off for super awkward experience with front desk where the person looked at me super weird when I wanted to have my yelp offer...she said something along the lines of: oh that's through Yelp and not us. Either she had no clue they had the offer going or was trying to get out of it. Either way her tone was pretty unpleasant afterwards.

Julie did an amazing job with the 75' Signature European Facial. I highly recommend this small but highly professional Spa in Nolita. Not tried other services but extremely enjoyed this gift from a friend :)) Before the service had a snack at Mimi Cheng's and this time was a nice one (April lamb kofte) They use a couple of brands, a French and a German. All Facial are very specific and the cool thing about the SEF is that depending on what you want/need they adjust it for you. Only 4 rooms so Appointment is a must.

I went for European facial last month and did not see any difference. Few minutes in, the esthetician told me that this simple facial is something I can do at home and recommended to get oxygenating treatment if I want to see any difference (extra $99) which I did. I kept seeing clogged pores and breakouts so I went back after 2 weeks to replenish on BR products and asked about my face but the front desk person told me I'm purging and didn't even offer to be seen by an esthetician. Overall, disappointing experience for $350 facial.

Samantha has always done such an amazing job for my brazilian sugaring! What do you want for a brazilian? 1. Quick? Check! 2. Painless? Check! (certainly significant less pain than others) 3. Well done? Check! Sam is a perfectionist and it's always perfectly done. Nice and smooth. Add to that Samantha's fantastic personality. She senses what mood you are in (chatty, sharing, quiet) and you will get exactly what you need. It's like she can read your mind. She's fabulous. I saw her for years her when she was working in Seattle and I for sure will see her when I'm in NY. Definitely recommend getting your Brazilian done by her.

I was having a lot of issues with acne and scarring on my cheeks and tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. I was recommended to go to Yulia at Daphne and was a bit nervous about getting a facial with how inflamed my skin was, but Yulia cleared up my skin and faded my acne scars. She is amazing and I am so grateful for her because having acne can really affect the way you feel about yourself. She was very diligent and generous with extractions and her facial was so relaxing. Daphne is amazing and I will go back often!! Thank you, Yulia!!!

Hey Nolita! Spa Daphne was perfection... My first NYC spa "treat yourself" day! It was unbelievable! I had the best time! I know that soho is a pretty fancy part of town, but the service was so friendly all around. Shout out to the young lady working the front desk 'juliana' she made me feel so special and answered all of my amature spa questions.. also props to her for knowing her stuff, i figured she was an off duty esthetician. Spas can be very intimidating for someone like me, but Juliana made me feel comfortable! Id def go back even just for the good vibes and great advice about skin care!

Best facial I've ever had ! Yulia did a great job, my skin feels so smooth and clean. I can't wait to go back ! Yulia also helps me pick out the best products for my skin. The milk cleanser and toner are amazing

Natalya is amazing, the facials here are so good, I've come for dermaplaning and microcurrent once, and dermaplaning and oxygen treatment the second time. Both times, the atmosphere has been peaceful and luxurious, and the facials have left me glowing for weeks. Expensive but so worth it.

I've been here twice now, both times were with Anastasia. I've gotten the European Facial and Signature European Facial. Love her and how thorough she is at every single step. Especially love the face and neck massages throughout the *entire* facial. The soft sheets and heated blanket were also a nice treat. Front staff has always been friendly and helpful to me, both in-person and over the phone. Would definitely recommend Daphne if you're looking to treat yourself. Totally worth it. My skin is always glowing afterward.

The staff at Daphne were kind enough to let me walk in for a wax service on the spot. The service itself was quick, gentle, and exactly what I was expecting. The prices at Daphne are very reasonable especially for NYC. The ambiance of the salon is perfectly lit, lightly fragranced, and quiet. I would definitely come back to try out the other salon services, especially the dermaplaning!

Haifa is an absolute angel! She looks like an angel and works like one.. Her presence is calming and she is an absolute perfectionist. Ive been doing body wraps and sugaring and its been a dream everytime I go. I highly recommend tbe skinny wraps, literally burns 1500-3000 calories!!!!! seriously my body is looking amazing. I live how she takes her time and really takes pride in the results. In general im inlove with this spa; its such a gem. Go see Haifa. shes the best one there.

After getting sugared there for the last 6 months, I decided to try the facials there as well. My esthetician, Jade, was very knowledgeable and detail-oriented. I'm very picky when it comes to skincare in general (her Brazilians are close to perfect if not perfect every time). Since it was my first time, she spent time to analyze my skin and understand my skincare routine. Based on the information she gathered, she suggested the Oxygen facial with an eye treatment add-on. I love that Jade is well experienced especially with Biolerque Recherche products. She was trained in Paris for a few years using these products before coming to NYC. After the facial, my skin feels revitalized and so clean from her extractions! I think I'm definitely hooked especially on the P50 toner. All the girls at Daphne are very kind. This place is a rare gem in the city. Price-wise I guess is justifiable because it's a bit hard to find places that use Biolerque Recherche.

Wow I mean I would come back everyday if I could The spa is so cute and smells really nice when you enter. staff is sweet. Yulia is the best she took her time and educated me on the facial treatment I was getting and the do's and don't for my skin. I got the 2nd skin facial treatment and it is worth every penny.

I am so glad to have found this place and met Yulia here! She literally changed the whole skin game for me. I always take her advice and use the products she recommends because they work!! She is honestly the best.

Had the best experience at Daphne. -great ambiance and Anastasia was a very knowledgeable and caring esthetician -did the Perfect Lift facial and my skin looked brighter and plumper immediately after. She constantly checked in to make sure the micro current treatment wasn't too strong -Anastasia spent over an hour with me even though the facial was only supposed to be 45 minutes -I redeemed a Spa Week promotion and felt treated/respected like a client who was paying full price

This was my first time at Daphne- a very European Spa ++ with lovely rooms and great music. Natalya gave me the the finest and most detail oriented treatment. I couldn't ask for a better service on a snowy day. Was truly a delight and I will be back. Best products and nicest women. A very treat yourself experience. I will be back!

TORA IS AN AMAZING ESTHETICIAN. You will not be disappointed getting a Brazilian wax (or I'm sure any other service) with her. I finally mustered up the courage to try Brazilian waxing again due to the fact that I can't shave without bumps and ingrown hairs and Tora showed me that it's not the actual wax, it's the esthetician that makes all the difference. She was very clean, very precise, VERY quick, all the while talking me through what she was doing and coaching my breathing and hand placement when it came down to the actual waxing. My wax was the most painless I've ever had and I swear it only took a good 15minutes. Mind you, I went into my appointment with a full bush. I plan to be a regular from now on. PLEASE BOOK TORA. If she moved to Alaska I'd follow her. She's that good.

I have had several facials with Jade! She is just fabulous! As an African American female our skin requires Special attention because certain treatments put our skin at risk for hyperpigmentation! The spa is clean and the service is prompt! I have had microneedling and Cool lift facials. I would highly recommend a facial at Daphne and I think you would be satisfied With their services

I've never done sugaring before and they used it for my upper lip. It was more painful than waxing, which wasn't a huge deal. But after it was still tingling. It felt like I had a sunburn the following two days and then my skin began to peel all around my lips! I put lotion on it but took a few days to heal. Don't think I'll do again.

I got lucky the day I made an appointment here and got scheduled with Jade, who turned out to be simply the best aesthetician ever. She is so talented, professional, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. I especially recommend her for sugaring and facials. My skin has gotten much better since I started coming here.

Anastasia has completely transformed my incredibly sensitive and acne prone skin . I have tried all different products over the years from dermatologists that just prescribed antibiotics and retinoids, which resulted in irritated skin. After few sessions with Anastasia I started to see incredible results. She is very thorough and takes her time to advise on next steps to really maximize each visit and will answer all and any questions you have . Anastasia has also recommended products and treatments (like micro-needling)that will help reduce my acne scaring ,pigmentation ,fine lines ,expression lines, e.t.c. THIS IS MY GO TO PLACE FOR SUCH MATTERS!! Will definitely be back!

Jade was wonderful. Really patient and kind. My appointment on Friday went smoothly. It was the first time i had any sugaring done and it was perfect. Very little redness! And she helped me with skincare tips also! I really recommend her for a facial or sugaring! Can't wait to come back and try more.

I am checking in soon to Relax. This treat will only be for 1 hours. It's great to get away from business deals. I come to this place every time I come to N.Y. It's peaceful. The Atmosphere is very inviting. I love the sugaring are awesome.. just to your imagination. uhhh.....

Saw Natalya for a facial and it was awesome. Not only is she so sweet, she's very educated in all of the products Daphne uses (including Biologique Reserche, Environ, and MBR). This is definitely the best facial I have ever received. Previously was getting facials at rescue spa but found out Daphne sold Biologique products and was immediately sold as not too many stores carry this line. I had high expectations and I have to say Natalya far exceeded them. Left the spa glowing and will definitely be coming back soon to see her!

Love this excellent little spa tucked away in Nolita. I've been seeing Natalya for close to 9 months now and my skin has never been better. Obviously BR products are highly effective in and of itself. She is very diligent and detail oriented with extractions and her product and facial recommendations are always on point. I've tried the European facial, micropuncture lab treatment (a must!), and the oxygenating facial. She even gives helpful skincare tips for care between facials. I struggled with hormonal acne and acne scars and after seeing Natalya, I've found my glow! Highly recommend

Daphne is exquisite!! The second you walk in you're greeted with a warm smile and breathe in the incredible scent of the spa (it really does smell amazing). I had the oxygen electro current facial, and I must say it was worth EVERY penny! Jade did such an incredible job, she addressed my specific skin concerns (clogged pores, fine lines, scarring), and took time to work on them as well as recommending future treatments based on my skin. I highly recommend the oxygen electro current facial, my face was literally glowing from within, and it looked lifted, incredibly supple and hydrated. I will be booking another treatment soon!

Great spa. A little small but the products has been amazing and really turned my skin around. Would go again.

My girlfriend suggested we come here before a wedding that we flew into NY for. It was my first time getting any sort of facial, but I loved it. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. With my eyes closed the whole time I didn't know what was happening or what I was smelling, but they explained everything as they applied and were very gentle. If I lived in the city I'd definitely stick to their regime, but I will make it a point to come back when I visit next! Thank you Daphne!

This place has become my little self-care oasis in the city. The ambiance is so relaxing, clean, and luxurious; the staff is so kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable; and the results are better than any other place I have been. Jade has given me four Brazilian waxes and the lotus facial, and I could not be happier with the results. I went in with some scarring and ingrown hairs, and now they are completely gone. Jade makes me feel so comfortable and makes the sugaring process very enjoyable. Jade also gave me a recipe for a DIY exfoliante for the bikini area for brightening and to minimize ingrown hairs. She also recommends products that are within my price range, knowing I am on a budget but still want to take good care of my body and skin. Jade also recommended I start to get my underarms sugared, noticing the results of shaving has had on my skin. This has helped immensely- the hairs start to grown in thinner and softer about a week after getting sugared. I now get this done regularly. I most recently had a facial with Jade, and while it is on the pricier side, it is truly the most incredible spa experience I have ever had. She walked me through exactly what she was putting on my skin every step of the way, gave a wonderful massage with the perfect amount of pressure throughout the facial (even massages my arms and hands while one of the masks was drying!) and has left my skin hydrated, plump, and glowing! She is so knowledgeable about maintaining healthy skin and is just simply so good at what she does. I have found the investment so worth it and would recommend Daphne to everyone.

I started visiting Daphne when I moved here 2+ years ago and after my first visit my skin had improved drastically! The estheticians are super helpful and taught me how to properly take care of my skin and now I have less breakouts, clogs and my skin is noticeably less red and oily. I'm now hooked on Biologique Recherche products and use it exclusively. I see Julianna at the front desk when I am ready to buy my products. She is very knowledgeable of the products and has great advice on how to improve your skin, which is super helpful when an esthetician isn't available. Highly recommend!

Had a dermaplane facial with Yulia and it was so relaxing. She did an amazing job my skin felt great after. The staff was very friendly. The products they sell in the store I already use and I love as well. Yulia recommended a few new products for my skin and I will be going back for microneedling soon. Will keep all my fellow yelpers updated on how that goes :) highly recommend this spa!!

Microcurrent facials were originally medical grade treatments created and used to treat temporary or permanent facial paralysis in patients who have suffered from stroke or Bell's Palsy. I had Bell's palsy years and years ago. I suffer from minor residual side-effects from the temporary paralysis on the left side of my face. Those side effects are something that I notice every single day that make me incredibly self conscious. Due to other superficial benefits of microcurrent facials, like more youthful looking skin, they are more readily available for cosmetic purposes and not easily accessible, or affordable, for people like me, who seek it for rehabilitation purposes. THAT is why I am GRATEFUL for Spaweek and all of it's participating Spas, like DAPHNE. I booked an appointment with Anastasia, a knowledgable and INCREDIBLE esthetician at DAPHNE who was already familiar with Bell's Palsy and the origin of the Microcurrent facial. After carefully and attentively listening to my concerns, she adjusted the facial for me and within minutes of completion, I felt change in stimulation on the affected side of my face. For the following three days, I was very mildly sore, which is specific to me and the atrophied muscles in my face. I remember years ago, when I was recovering and regaining movement of my facial muscles months after losing movement of them, my face was so sore because I was healing. Needless to say, I was right! I have noticed a significant improvement in dexterity on the afflicted side of my face. This is not to say that Anastasia is a miracle worker! Anyone going to see her for a microcurrent facial should have realistic expectations. I will absolutely see her again and again, because these treatments take time to really make a difference, but I have had them before at different spas and I can honestly say that, Anastasia was by far, hands down, the best esthetician and DAPHNE has the best microcurrent machines I have ever had used on me. I decided to try Daphne for sugaring based on some Yelp reviews and a Groupon offer. My last place was good but super pricey and the atmosphere wasn't always inviting. After my appointment today, I'm so happy I gave Daphne a shot. The space is quaint and cleanly, they offered me tea and water, and best of all, they did not rush me even though I was a few minutes late. I received a Brazilian Sugaring today with Tora and the end result was clean and smooth. I hadn't sugared in a couple months and was extra jumpy. Tora was patient, pleasant, she talked me through everything. The Brazilian was done quickly and Tora did a FABULOUS job! My situation is now situated and super clean! I'm a guaranteed regular now. :)

Tora is always the best! She's awesome for both sugaring and regular wax! I highly recommend her if you're new to waxing in general, because she will walk you through breathing techniques and ways to make it less painful. She's also so easy to chat with so you don't even realize you're getting a wax- just feels like you're hanging out with a friend!

The receptionist was very courteous, and welcoming! My esthetician was skilled, and worked as a true professional taking exceptional care to ensure the best aesthetic results!! I will definitely be a permanent Sugaring client!
