We came at the Dar Chams Tanja for a long weekend in October, 2025. The hotel arranged for our transportation from Tangier Airport for a very good price, the driver was waiting for us at the gate. The rooms might just be the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever been to - the cleaning lady is lovely and comes every day. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and there is a lift. The view is fantastic and the bar upstairs very high quality for a reasonable price. The other staff are also very friendly, the waiter Soufiane gave us great recommendations for the city center. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

5 star Review is solely for the rooftop cafe/restaurant. The views are absolutely incredible, a panoramic perspective of Tangier with wonderful traditional decor to relax upon. Food is very pricey though. Only tried a juice and milkshake which were decent. Service was okay.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The traditional decor and soft calm ambiance just completed our stay in the old Medina. Perfect distance from the souks and bazaars. Very lovely staff who genuinely wanted us to have a great stay. Very comfortable room which felt like a real haven after a busy day walking around

Stayed in the Sultan Suite on the top floor next to the restaurant. Beautiful view of the ocean from the room, nice modern room, and convenient location. Great rooftop restaurant.

We ended up in Dar Chams by chance after leaving Cafe Hafa for their horrible service. I must say it was quite the upgrade. In the heart of the Kasbah, tastefully decorated, and the staff was absolutely amazing. I have been to many top of the line, Michelin starred restaurants, in both the USA and England, and the service here was on par if not better than some. I can’t recommend them enough, they were so lovely and attentive, and my family will be coming back!

We had a really disappointing experience at this coffee. The waiter didn’t inform us about anything and didn’t want to help at all. There was too much sun, and even when we told him we preferred to sit in the shade, he refused to do anything about it. The staff in general were not nice, and the service felt careless and unfriendly.|Definitely not a place I would recommend.
