Five star ! |The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was so good fresh orange juice was amazing. The front desk lady was the sweetest trying so hard to get us a proper traditional spa to go to and arranging us a ride to the train. The room was comfortable and super clean. The bedding was so comfortable. Would highly recommend this location. Close walk to everything !

We stayed at the suite which is spacious and nicely decorated. The riad is located quite close to medina (and only 2 mins from Bacha coffee and 15 mins from Jemaa el-fnaa). Staff are helpful. Breakfast could be improved by offering more variety/rooms are a bit dated (e.g. the air con is a bit noisy and the walls in the bathroom are discoloured).

Riad was nice, think locally owned. Room was small but clean. Water pressure was very low and have given feedback to the road.

A perfect oasis of peace a breath away from the bustilng activity of the medina. Every detail of the riad is cared for by the wonderful staff and we couldn't have asked for more in every aspect of our stay. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, wonderful pool and terrace. Tasy ad abundant breakfast, as well as the delicious dinner. Can't go wrong booking Dar Charkia.

This was our first trip to Marrakech and I’m so grateful we stayed here. It was the most magical experience! The riad is absolutely stunning, from the rooms to the rooftop to the courtyard & pool. The staff are all so warm & friendly, always going out of their way to ensure you’re taken care of. And the breakfasts were sensational! I’d highly recommend anyone to stay here, I’m already looking forward to my next trip.

We had an excellent experience at Dar Charkia, right from the first night. We arrived late so we asked for dinner at the riad, and it was delicious - traditional courses well executed, and at a reasonable price for the food we received. Breakfasts each morning were also very good.The riad is beautiful with a lovely heated plunge pool, a comfortable courtyard with an established orange tree, and a very comfortable roof terrace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - ours had a fireplace which they offered to light for us. There were many attractive design touches around the riad which made it feel stylish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect - easy to reach by the taxi despite being in the medina, and a close walk to everything worth seeing in Marrakech centre. We had a great time and I'd definitely repeat.

This is a great location in Marrakesh as it is outside the hurly burly of the main souks and yet is only a short walk away. A secondary advantage is that is near a taxi rank so luggage does not have to be hauled very far and it is easy to get to transport to other parts of Marrakesh, the airport and Morocco. ||The riad is extremely comfortable with lots of genuine local artefacts decorating the rooms. Breakfast is terrific although it might be easier if they provided a bigger table for the feast. ||We would definitely return to Dar Charkia. It is also convenient for a great spa and Bacha coffee house which is a must to visit.

What a fantastic find, really enjoyed our stay. Samira and her team could not be more helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The accommodation was really nice, a sanctuary in the full on of Marrakesh. The Riad is ideally situated in a very safe area, where you can walk quite happily any time of day. There are some really good restaurants in close proximity and you really couldn’t be better situated to access the old part of Marrakesh. Our room was on ground floor leading out to the central courtyard and for what we paid to stay there, was excellent.|All I would say is that the previous review says more about the reviewer than Dar Charkia.
