Dar Dadicilef offers an authentic and welcoming stay in an excellent location within the medina, making it perfect for exploring the city. The hospitality from Abdou and his father is exceptional - they go above and beyond to assist guests. The breakfast is delicious, and the room features beautiful traditional decor that preserves the classic style. The hosts' attentiveness and readiness to help make the experience particularly special. While the overall experience is excellent, the room could benefit from a small heater or dehumidifier to improve comfort, especially during cooler or humid periods. This minor suggestion aside, the convenient location, warm hospitality, and authentic atmosphere make this place highly recommendable.

Dar Dadicilef is the perfect escape for peace and relaxation. Surrounded by avocado trees in the garden, the calm nights let me sleep deeply. The breakfast was delicious, and Abdul and his father are incredibly kind hosts. The fireplace is a great spot to meet other travelers with tea. Truly a wonderful stay!

A relaxing and friendly hostel run by a Father-Son team. It feels very authentic and the building really gives the impression that you are in a piece of history. It's cold but there is a fire and lots of blankets. They kindly gave me a place to store my bicycle as well on short notice. I highly recommend this if you need somewhere to relax and recharge.

A lovely spot in a wonderful city. The father and son duo who run it are attentive and kind. We went in January and were very grateful for their warm fire in the communal area. They were generous enough to upgrade our room to an ensuite when one became available. Wonderful breakfast too!

Everything in their control was perfect! Breakfast is delicious, the common areas comforting, room clean. Be prepared it is cold in the rooms in the winter, there’s lots of blankets but just pack accordingly!

Ahmed and Abdul were kind and genuine hosts, the hostel itself is in great condition and my stay here was exceptional. Honestly, if you’re just looking for a great hostel - a safe bet - this is 100% the place to go - it was affordable too! Coming in the winter, many hostels around Marocco were quite cold at night; this one however - with a fireplace and cozy common room conversations exceeded expectations: not only was the temperature warm enough - so was my heart ;) Breakfast in the morning - the most delicious I had tasted throughout all my hostel stays in Marocco - was a great start to the morning. As you can probably tell by now, I was thoroughly satisfied and amazed by this stay. 5 stars in all respects

Such a lovely hostel at Chefcounce, is so easy to find, is near to the Bab El Ain entrance, walking distance to square. Little house and super clean in every where. The only disadvantage is if you cant come back late like midnight if all the main door key if is issued to other guest. They also have roof top for you to relax with the board game, or backyard for you to relax too. There is common area, also a guitar. I love every corner of this hostel, highly recommend. Will visit again.. Owner were very kind speak little english.

Such a great place to stay in Chefchaouen! The owner and is family are so welcoming. The whole place and the rooms are beautiful and clean. The included breakfast was delicious and it’s also in a great location. I definitely recommend this place!
