Dar El Gaïed - Guest House

Just spent a fabulous weekend at the Dar el gaied to celebrate my son’s wedding. Everything was first class. If you’re looking for that special place to stay or have a celebration I would highly recommend this Guesthouse.

This place is a real gem. Every corner is well decorated, you can feel the owners are real passionate of history, culture and art. All the staff were super warm and friendly. The room was spacious and again the decoration makes you feel you live in a palace. The food was very delicious. It is located in the heart of Nabeul, it is walking distance from the traditional souk and a lot of small shops/restaurant. Nothing to complain about honestly. Maybe if you have toddlers it is not the ideal place for them unless you keep an eye on them since there are a lot of delicate stuff, and also the way it is designed, it is not necessarily kids friendly. Overall, excellent experience that I would definitely recommend without hesitation.

A hidden heaven in the city of Nabeul. The place is beautiful, very well-decorated and you feel the richness of the Tunisian cultures within these walls.You are invited straight into their cultures heritages, just by looking at all the pictures of the family and ancestors set on the walls. The service is top notch. The food was excellent and generously served. I highly recommend.

We spent a remarkable family weekend. The kids loved the pool, food and welcoming atmosphere, while the parents marveled at the magnificent house & beautifully decorated rooms. The staff was very kind and provided a great service. Special thanks to the owner for accommodating our request.

A hidden gem outside the Medina of Nabeul. Hosts and service was beyond my expectations. The property is a historic oasis of mosaics and lush greenery. The food was delicious both for breakfast and dinner. Easy access to shops outside of the property.

By far the most exquisite Dar I have visited in Tunisia in recent years - it is not only beautifully decorated, it is also heavenly comfortable and quiet. The owners will not hesitate to show you the mansion the family has treasured for generations and recently restored with taste. You will immediately feel home!

I have had the privilege of staying in many high end hotels and guest houses and this rates as one of the best.||It’s a beautifully restored palace with high end service and outstanding hospitality.||The breakfast is very good and they serve lovely dinners as well and can cater for dietary restrictions.||WIFI is fast. ||The owner is very kind and manages the property exquisitely. Highly recommended.||
