Dar El Médina

The time we spent in the hotel Dar El Medina was wonderful! A fantastic hotel, with suggestive and very elegant environments, a staff that always stood out high levels of efficiency. Each of our requests was met with kindness and great availability. The hotel staff combined professionalism with great kindness that came from the bottom of their hearts. The days we spent in Tunis were magical and the Dar El Medina hotel made us feel at home. Each of them made themselves available to us even outside of working hours. The hotel's cuisine is healthy, the breakfast rich and abundant and dining in their courtyard and on their terrace was splendid. The food was excellent, tasty and full of original dishes that combined Tunisian tradition with some more Western dishes. The hotel is located inside the Medina and the position is excellent for visiting the whole city. Dar El Medina is a very clean hotel and everywhere you can smell a pleasant smell of jasmine. On our return to Italy we brought with us the smiles and faces of the staff, never in so many years of vacation had we stayed in a hotel with such helpful, generous and smiling staff as that of Dar El Medina......we will definitely return! Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience—it’s a true gem, originally a historic home that’s been tastefully transformed into a boutique hotel. The design and ambiance are full of charm and artistic detail. Everything was impeccably clean and carefully maintained. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and refined. This hotel is truly a piece of art—a beautifully restored historical home turned into a charming boutique stay. Every corner reflects elegance and character. The place was spotless and exceptionally well maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, making it a perfect retreat. The staff were incredibly professional and helpful throughout my stay. I would like to especially thank Nada and Soheil for their outstanding service and warm hospitality.

We were 6 people and we had an amazing stay at Dar el Medina, they got us from the airport, we had great breakfast and the staff was really friendly! The rooms, the service,the hotel and the view were really amazing. They organised for us a private driver to take us to the places we wanted through Tunisia even if requested it the last minute! I completely recommend this hotel for your stay in Tunisia! Thank you for everything guys!

We booked this accommodation in advance and were so excited. However a few days before the flight, we had an urgent medical emergency and could not physically go there. We reached out to them explaining the situation and asking for a refund or a change of dates, however they did not respond. The lack of human consideration for their guests and lack of flexibility, lets me know that we made the right choice not going. In the future when things get better in our health and we are able to go to Tuinisia, we will not be staying here.

The central courtyard is a peaceful retreat, and the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the historic city. Every corner of this place showcases Tunisia’s rich heritage. A wonderful view in the top, getting a bit chilly when there is wind, nice menu but the service is slow, if untrained. Food was mediocre, prices cheap. They supposed to serve wine, we had ordered but after a while told us that they run out.|Refreshments were OK with a natural lemonade being too sweet.
