Beautiful small riad in Chefchaouen medina, conveniently located not far from the gate, Bab Souk, or from the central square, Place Uta el-Hamman. The staff was very helpful and friendly and drew us walking-maps of places to visit. The room was pretty, cozy and most importantly had a comfortable bed and pillows. We also recommend having at least one meal here. The food was excellent and well-priced.

Situated in a perfect spot in the medina up a blue decorated alley, this Dar Meziana has a lot of potential but it has seen better days! Our small standard room on the first floor was tired looking and run down, The bathroom door jammed on the floor so had to be forced, bathroom tiles were chipped. There was a quilt stuffed in the cupboard which we had to use due to the cooler nights in November, but not sure that the quilt cover had been washed from previous occupants use! The reception and the kitchen below were quite noisy throughout the evening and early morning. ||However, the breakfast was one of the better ones we had during our travels in Morocco. The donuts and the different types of breads were fresh and came with fried eggs. There are plenty of seating in the roof gardens to relax in.||The photos of Dar Meziana looks better on websites than it actually is.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dar Meziana. Our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. The staff were always kind and welcoming. And the location is as ideal as it gets in Chefchaouen -- easy 5-min walk to just about anything. The owner of the riad is also among the best people I have ever met. He is a local legend and an exemplary ambassador for the country of Morocco. If you can make it work, you should hire him for a day tour around Chefchaouen. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dar Meziana -- I hope to be back one day.

Perched on the hillside in Chefchaouen this guest house is filled with classic Moroccan furniture. The location means lots of steps and strangely shaped rooms. We could just walk around our bed and the bathroom, while adequate, could really only accommodate one person at a time. |Breakfast is so generous that it’s impossible to eat everything. I took the low price into account when rating this guesthouse and on balance think it offers good value.

Very nice place to stay in Chefchaouen . Great location and excellent hosts. Breakfast included in our room was wonderful and fresh.
Rooms are decorated individually and there is lots of hot water. AC and heat works in the rooms.
Will stay here next time we pass through.

Very beautiful and traditional guesthouse. The staff are great and the place is very beautifully decorated. The room was a bit small but I think that is the style in this town. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious and huge. Bathroom has hot water and great pressure. I didn’t like the city, but if I come back I would definitely stay here again.

Cost vs. performance was excellent. Good basic accommodation and does pretend to be something else. Located in one of the most photographic streets. staff really nice and helpful. Room itself was simple and fine. Breakfast was super. The location was good for us as it was a little quieter than being in the middle of the city. Happily recommend.

A little worn but charming. Quality of hotels in this town does not meet quality of other areas for lodging so this is probably as good as you can get. Breakfast was very good. She’s up the hill to this hotel was more than others so if you are challenged by steps, you may want to choose Casa Hassan
